Broken Past.....Hopeful Future

[Xazor Elessar]

The figure of a woman danced along the ground as she walked toward a lone ship....stored away from the Greater Jedi Order. Her heart lept into her throat at a slight noise and she stopped to hear if it made another noise. She sighed in relief when she saw nothing. The young woman continued on until she reached the ship. She walked up the access ramp and knocked gently on the closed blast door. In the window she could see another pass by...hopefully coming to answer the door.

The woman she sought was Soolin Anjhurin....and their past together was rough and broken. When this woman's name was Xazor Leo Kama....she had killed many in her clan. Now she was different...no longer a Sith....but a Jedi full of love. It hurt her so to know that Soolin hated her even now for what had transpired in the past...but she understood, for she would have felt the same if the situation was placed before her. She knocked once again with her free hand, for in her other she held a small but heartfelt gift....a beautiful little plant that bore pretty blue flowers. It was a common peace offering on her home planet of Eden. She hoped with all of her heart that peace would be restored between she and Soolin....

:: The door to the ship slides open and Soolin stands, face to face with Xazor ::

Xazor looked up, slightly surprised by the sudden appearance of Soolin. She smiled and awkwardly held out the pretty plant toward her.

"Greetings Soolin....this is for you. I was hoping that we could talk....please?"

The Knight questioned with a gentle smile...her heart hoping so much that Soolin would speak with her....

[Soolin Anjhurin]

"Alright."

:: Soolin steps back, not taking the plant from Xazor, but allowing her entrance to the ship ::

"Let's talk."

[Xazor Elessar]

Xazor sighed and looked down at the little plant in her hands. She stepped past Soolin and entered the ship. It was nice inside, much more than she expected for a space craft.

"This is nice, Soolin...."

She said softly, looking around for a moment before her eyes drifted back to those of the woman.

"I hope I'm not interrupting anything....but this is important."

The Knight said gently, wondering if Soolin would give her the time she needed to speak the words that laid so heavy on her heart.

[Soolin Anjhurin]

:: Soolin shuts the door behind them. Whatever Xazor had come to say, it was private. And whatever happened, she didn't want anyone's interference ::

[Xazor Elessar]

Xazor looked at Soolin for a moment and sighed.

"I first wanted to say...I'm sorry. I cannot replace what you lost in the past...but that is the past...I am different now....and I want to show you that. I don't know how, though. Words cannot describe this change to you...it's in my heart and soul. Secondly, I have brought this plant to you as a gift. They grow on my home planet...and when given to another...it symbolizes peace. And thirdly...I want you to speak openly with me. It was tense in the Bar that day a while ago when we were speaking. Here it is private and no one can interfere. Tell me anything....and I well tell you all. Above all else though....please see me for as I am...not for who and what I used to be. I left the Sith completely....and when I made my oath to the Jedi...they were not just words. Soolin...when I came to the Jedi...they accepted me and saw my changed heart. Please....I want you to see that too. If you don't even want to hear this....and if you really don't want to like me, that's fine...you don't have to...."

She paused for a moment and looked into Soolin's eyes. Her heart ached so badly for the things she had done...and now it had ruined her future. All she wanted was so simple yet so complex...

"Please....just give me a chance...."

[Soolin Anjhurin]

"You're sorry ..."

:: Soolin lunges forward in a blur of motion, causing Xazor to drop the plant as she slams her against the door ::

"... and I'm suppose to forget???!!! Every night for five cycles I've hear the screams of my clan as they fought and died!!! Why was I spared???!!! Every night I bear the shame of rape before my Brother's eyes!!! Then he was murdered!!!"

:: she raises the small blade in her hand, prepared to strike a killing blow ::

"I want the truth!!! Are you one of my Brother's killers??? Do I have to kill you???"

Xazor was afraid...to say the least, but she called on the Force to calm her nerves. The Knight looked right into Soolin's eyes and shook her head.

"Yes I am sorry.......and I didn't kill your brother....but the one who did was killed as well."

She paused and looked down, her hands were trembling a bit.

"The one who killed your brother.....was someone I loved. We were to be married....but three days before our wedding....he was murdered....His name was Chase Konrad....and he is dead. I did not kill your brother...but I am so sorry that he did...."

*** Soolin ... ***

:: Grimya spoke telepathically, and Xazor was able to hear ::

*** Forgive ***

[Soolin Anjhurin]

"I believe you... "

:: Soolin releases her grip on Xazor and lowers the blade ::

"... and I forgive you."

Xazor looked up, a bit taken by the words that just came out of Soolin's mouth.

"You....you forgive me? Thank you so very much....."

The Knight really could not say anything else....she didn't have the words. All at once a joy rushed to her heart. She felt completely accepted now...unjudged by anyone....it was the most incredible feeling she had ever experienced....

[Soolin Anjhurin]

:: Soolin crouches down and looks at the fallen plant. She picks it up in her hands and looks up again ::

"Let's fix this."

[Xazor Elessar]

Xazor nodded and smiled gently.

"That's a good idea......"

The Knight said sofly and placed her hands on Soolin's as they held the plant. All she could do was look at her.

"Why did you change your mind?"

[Soolin Anjhurin]

"Because Grimya looked into your heart, and I trust her instincts."

[Xazor Elessar]

Xazor lofted a brow for a moment and looked down at the beautiful creature sitting beside Soolin. A smile danced upon her lips for a moment.

Thank you good Wolf....a deep thanks from one of your kind.

She spoke softly in Grimya's mind. Xazor was Garou....a werewolf, and could shapeshift to the form of a full wolf as well....but on a much larger scale. It was good to know that her kind still watched out for the good in others. Her own wolf companion, Kaukauana, was Force sensitive...but was deaf. Perhaps he would make a friend with Grimya someday....

"Thank you Soolin....please now...I wish for you to know me for who I am...not that of who I once was...."

[Soolin Anjhurin]

"You have my forgiveness, but not my trust. That you must earn through deed. Not words."

:: she places the plant back into it's container and places it on the table ::

[Xazor Elessar]

Xazor bowed gently and smiled at Soolin.

"I didn't expect you to trust me ever again....but I will prove to you through my deeds that I am trust worthy...I will...."

She said softly and then brushed some of the dirt from the plants leaves back into its pot...

[Soolin Anjhurin]

"You tell me the one who murdered Roh is dead. What happened to him?"

[Xazor Elessar]

The Knight sighed as painful memories engulfed her mind.

"Three days before our wedding....the other Knights of my Order came and got him......then they killed him in front of me..."

Her heart skipped a beat as she thought of Chase.....thought of their happy times together. But then she knew that at least she accomplished half of their dreams.....she became a Jedi and knew he would have if the others had let him live.



ooc: I am assuming this is before he finds me? I mean, it would have to be.... :lol This has been RPing out for a while so about....two months before he comes to the GJO this is, okay? :D
