A familiar face (Challenge to Xavier Sadow)

[Alera Starreyes]

Alera sat on a large boulder looking up at the night sky. She sighed. It was raining, and the sky was too clouded to see any stars. Well, the rain did feel good. It almost made up for the temporary lack of stars.
Suddenly, she felt something. She frowned. Someone coming... a dark... but familiar... presence...
Alera got down off the rock and held her newly made lightsaber in her hand, not activated... yet. Senses alert, she waited for the person she'd sensed to make himself known.

[Xavier Sadow]

Xavier leaps from a large branch on a tree near her. He lands upon the rock, crouched down. He landed quietly though she could probably since his force signature coming closer as he landed. He growls quietly and leaps from the rock, twisting as he flips over her and leans about five feet infront of Alera, facing her with his arms crossed over his chest.

[Alera Starreyes]

Alera smiled slightly. "Hello, Xavier. Fancy meeting you here."

[Xavier Sadow]

Xavier cracks his neck lightly and takes a step back with his left foot. The Sith Warriors left hand pushes the side of his trenchcoat away and unhooks the saber with his right hand, igniting both of the black hued beams. He quickly spins it at his side then infront of him and steps back onto his right leg, his saber now behind him with the left beam angled upward just past his left shoulder, the right beam angle down towards the ground.

[Alera Starreyes]

Alera ignites the single beam of her bright blue lightsaber. The woman stands in a classic defense position, but her ice blue eyes dare Xavier to make the first move.

[Xavier Sadow]

Xavier growls loudly as he grips the hilt of his saber a little tighter before rushing forward, using the Force to speed up his movements. He sends the left beam in an upward arc, diagonally across her chest though it is rather easy to block. As she moves her saber down to block one of the beams of his saber, he spins around, sending a hook kick towards her head.

Alera ducks quickly, opening herself to the Force to aid her concentration and movement. Smoothly she swung her saber at Xavier's left.

[Xavier Sadow]

Xavier spins his saber quickly, deflecting Alera's. He growls loudly and sends the right beam of his saber towards her right side, another easy block, but this one was just to stall her and make time for his next move. As she blocks the saber, he thrusts his open left hand towards her, sending a force push directly into her stomach.

Alera staggers backwards, making an effort not to double over. Her eyes narrowed as a tingle of anger ran through her. -All right... if that's the way he wants it...-
She switched to a fencing position and feinted to where his shoulder met his neck. Quickly she sent a force push to the back of Xavier's knees.

[Xavier Sadow]

Xavier growls loudly, reaching forward with one of the beams, knocking her saber back before he is hit with the force push. He falls backwards but quickly corrects himself by landing directly on his shoulder, bending at his waist and springboarding himself back up to his feet. As his feet in the ground and drops into a crouch and spins, sending his right leg towards the back of her knees.

Alera jumped over the kick, slashing with her lightsaber towards the side of Xavier's head.

[Xavier Sadow]

Xavier raises up his saber, sparks flying as his left beam connects with her. He pushes up on his saber, throwing her's upward yet still in her grasp. He rolls onto his back and drives his feet into her stomach quickly before he leaps back up to his feet, growling loudly.

[Alera Starreyes]

This time she couldn't stop herself from doubling over from getting the wind knocked out of her and the pain. -Ignore it ignore it ignore it!- she screamed mentally. She forced herself to straighten before Xavier could attack her while she was stunned.
As her anger slowly began to build, an image of her old saber flashed into her mind, black, not white. She forced the image out of her mind.
Alera held her saber ready, watching Xavier carefully.

[Xavier Sadow]

Xavier begins to slowly circle her, a sinister grin sliding upon his face. He raises his saber up, pointing one of the beams towards her.

"I can feel your anger growing. Let it out. Perhaps you will be able to stop me from letting loose your head from your body if you do."

He grins again and rushes forwards, using the Force to speed his actions. The Sith Warrior begins to send a barrage of slashes with both ends of his saber, still using the Force to keep his speed up.

[Alera Starreyes]

Alera managed to block most of the slashes except one, which caused a long gash on her side. A small cry of pain escaped her despite herself. The young woman gripped her saber tighter, feeling the pain beginning to increase her anger further. She fought to bring herself under control.
"No, Xavier," she said softly, but firmly. "I'd rather die than let that happen again." She knew she didn't have to explain what 'that' was. Xavier would remember.
Letting the Force flow through her and increase her speed, she jumped onto the rock, then launched herself off it, landing behind Xavier and stabbing at his back.

Xavier quickly spins out of the way of the saber, though as his trenchcoat is pushed out when he spins, the saber slices through most of it. He growls and quickly slides it off, revealing the sleeveless shirt underneath of it and his pale arms.

"That was my favorite jacket.."

He smirks slightly and taps the right beam of his saber against her's. He does this a few times as a distraction to try and stop her from seeing a few large rocks raising up from behind her and quickly rushing towards her.

"So sorry." Alera returned the smirk.
Sensing something dangerous coming behind her, Alera quickly created a Force shield around herself. She let the rocks hit it, waiting until she sensed the danger had passed before finally dropping it.
Now the rain was starting to worry her. If it dripped into her eyes, she'd be in trouble, and it was already starting to weigh down her cloak. Quickly, she cast it off to the side, then attacked. She feinted to Xavier's left, then slashed in earnest to his right.
