Correct procedure is that with a vacancy, the next person in the voting is stepped up. This was Helenias Q'Dunn and she has refused the nomination

The suggestion from her is Xazor takes her place instead.

As much as I love and respect Xazor, I feel she has some burdening obstacles to overcome before also taking on the burden of a Council seat.

I respect the IC issues, but as I stated elsewhere, Xazor has put a great deal of work into the Jedi and deserves this on merit alone. It is not that she is a Jedi of a perfect mold that I regard her - for few of us are perfect Jedi. It is simply for the way she has taken on responsibilty and has done an admirable job. I place involvement as a higher requirement than how she chooses to deal with her IC issues. If this was a real Jedi Council, I might think differently. It is not and I regard that part of the resonsibilities of the Council is not just voting but to participate as appropriate. I look at myself and I say I have been here for less time and have not been as involved. I can not then honestly accept a nomination with someone deserving waiting on the side and that she is. On that basis I have to say Aye.

I can appreciate that Loki, but it's senseless to stoop to a level that I'm not on. If people don't want me on the Council, then that's their perrogative and I have no say. I cannot vote for myself, so by me standing up and protesting it does nothing but further their cause for saying "no".

Xazor has done much for the order taking on Masterless Padawans and always present. Plus she is always there at the recruitement center every single day even though I haven't been around for very long I have seen a lot of what Xazor has done. On the other side her character is maybe not ready...but still she has done so much for the order..I vote Aye :)

On the basis that IC Xazor is impatient, reckless, and often not in control of her emotions, I say nay. Council members should set an example which is as near the perfect reflection of what a Knight or Master should be IC as well as OOC. In saying that I am not claiming that anyone is perfect, but strong Jedi moral character traits are very important in group representatives.

Relying on the facts that Xazor has, in my veiw, done a great job of what she does. Meeting those in the recruitment center and directing the Class, the various things she has done to help others in need and the such IC wise, plus my lurkings around (Not hinting anything btw).

Xazor, you are a great person, as well as a great character. To assume that everone has to be perfect is silly and unrealistic. You have done an amazing job caring for the (oft-times wacky) recruits, something that most people don't even think about.
