Gabriel sat down at a table by himself in the securing corner of the bar. His hood was down as it usually got in his way and so did his black hair and Jedi braid, which was tied up behind him for that same reason. His gloved hand felt over a small electronic tablet, a message scrolled down it in green verse. News of his home, or what would be his father’s home. The news was of death, that his father had finally passed away from the same disease his mother did all those years ago. It angered him inside that he couldn’t even remember his mother’s name without reference, her face was ghost like in his mind, her features gone because his now cured defect as a child.
Gabriel’s red eyes glittered for a moment, as if there was a moment of emotion in his face, but it soon faded as a droid appeared at his feet while he sat. He looked at it with his usual resonate stare. Unfortunately, unlike most it did not give a question or a strange over zealous look at his pale skin and red eyes. Instead it only beeped while a small tray stood atop it. Gabriel sighed while putting the electronic tablet down with the message as he spoke in his usual strange musical tone.
”Just water…”
The droid gave another strange noise that resembled electronic speech as it u turned and went off into the crowd. Gabriel had his hand to his forehead and looking down, picking the electronic message up again and reading over the details of his father's death. It was slow, he died in his sleep unlike his mother. No pain, just loss for his son and for his friends. He went over it again and again. If he couldn’t be there with his father, he would not forget him, not like he did his mother.
He would never let that happen.
