Just wanted to let you know and haven't caught you around to tell ya...
Ol' Ma finally partitioned our office computer's hard drive and installed 98 on one side - still running the XP on the other. Can roleplaying be too far away for me??? :D

If you're mom joins your star wars roleplaying community you know you're in the twilight zone

I second that. That would basically be a 13 on the WTFatude scale.

I live on the east coast of North Carolina - in a little town called Sharpsburg (not on many maps). I relocated here from the mountains (outside of Asheville) back in January 1991. I assume you were asking me where in North Carolina.:p

If they got in a fight, he'd have to let her win wouldn't he? That'd be funny as heck. I'm begging you, create a 2 foot tall, slow, weak, and incredibly stupid character and challenge him to a duel. :lol

:lol That'd be the best fight..!

Waves hey! (southern for hello) back at Emily, Ryla and everyone else around. Two things - in the family I married into everyone has a nickname. Mine is Snakewoman. We also have a Butch (my hubbie), rat, possum, weasel, coon, etc. So while I'd like to be the kitty lady, I'm stuck with snake.
Secondly, I'm not sure I could get into a RPing duel with my son. Wouldn't I have to let him win? and besides, I know his weaknesses!
Cya round.

Ahrunmumnun.

I have so many things to say, but no good ways to say them. Isn't that how it is?

You aren't thinking of sniping that cat now are you?

Create a rabbit that fights with an enchanted, talking carrot. The carrot's got a wise crackin' attitude and knows how to use it. He'll smack talk you all day while the bunny hops around looking all cute. As you swing at him, he'll hop away and wave a taunt with his fuzzy wuzzy bunny ears. He's big, he's bad, he's SUPER BUNNY!!!!! You gotta do it. Just gotta. Sure, let him win. Just think how you'd feel if you beat a poor cute bunny to death? Or, beat him and make him cry. He can't win either way!!!! :lol

Nup would enjoy beating up a poor cute bunny. >D

But if I'm not mistaken, bunny rabbits are something Nup feeds to his 2 burmese pythons :eek

Brat's right. Nup would just feed it to Strike or Draco.

I can sympathize with you as I spend a good portion of every day lost...too many drugs in the 60s. However, on this subject I am almost completely lucid so I will try to explain.
My handsome, super intelligent, kindhearted (get the point) son is the administrator of this forum. He is also into roleplaying. As I learn more and more about this whole thing I'm thinking of giving role playing a shot. My son's buddies feel like it would be an excellent idea for me to develop a RPing character that would be difficult for my son to combat - be it because the character is too weak, too cute, etc. I'm giving it some thought.
Hope this clears things up a bit for you.
P.S. Has anyone seen Ol' Nup around? I need to ask him something before I snail mail some Star Wars goodies that I have picked up at auction for him. 'Course he may not show up for awhile, in which case I guess I can just trash these ol' star wars things :rolleyes

Hi Nup's mom!

I almost threw your son off a balcony at Daytona Beach about 10 months ago.

But I wasn't going to :)

Just kidding around :angel

I'm always picking silly ol' Star Wars junk up at the auctions, so maybe I'll just mail it all to Nup and y'all can fight him for it. I actually walked into the little video store in Sharpsburg yesterday (called, oddly enough, Sharpsburg Videos) and asked the man if I could have his Star Wars movie posters and he gave them to me!
Where else but in a one stoplight town (not kidding) could you find that kind of hospitality?:rollin
Sure do miss Nup, though. :(

Shawn's been working like mad. I caught him for the few hours when he was awake yesterday.

Hullo. Yes, I'll be liking that AOTC poster. Yes, indeed. :)

I'm tired, and rather sick of working at my job. But, other than that, alive (a mere technicality, I assure you).

And yes - I'm showing favortism by not closing this thread. I don't want to stress my mom by trying to explain PMs to her. Anyone got a problem with that? :mneh
