In TPM, there seems to be alot of ongoing talk about symbiosis;
Naboo + Gungans, Living things + midichlorians, others?

In AotC, more than once (at least twice that I noticed), there were references to doing one's duty; Cordé to Padme, Anakin to the Jedi (as said by Obi Wan).

I don't really know where I'm going with this, just thought it was something else to talk about.

Also when Anakin is talking with Padme:

"Sometimes we must let go of what we want and do what is required of us." (I'm getting the quote a little wrong...)

And at the end between Obi-Wan and Anakin:

"What would Padme do if she were in your place?!"
> "She would do her duty"

Interesting, I never really thought of it that way, but there are enough instances of it to give the idea some merit.

Not much else to do when you're at home waiting for a kidney stone to pass! :p

I'd hit the weights Buff, but getting the heart rate up in this state is not recommended! :lol

But ... JMK, there's always re-runs of the Golden Girls, with Buff's foxy lady, Ms. Bea Arthur. If seeing her doesn't pass the stone quickly, I'm afraid nothing will...:cool

Unfortunately, I don't have a satellite, so I don't get the Golden Girls, or other great senior citizen programming, like Matlock, Quincy MD, Sanford & Son, Jake & the Fatman etc...:p

Besides, I saw a specialist today, he said there's no way something that big is going to pass. Soooo, its time to have an operation. :(

You see, if you had a satellite and could watch the Golden Girls, it's my contention that Ms. Bea's grating voice would send ultrasonic radiation into your body and break that stone down into a fine powder, and it wouldn't even hurt when it passed! Oh well ... score one for satellite TV. :D

Hope the operation goes well JMK.

Thanks boyos. It's supposed to be a 30-40 minute procedure, and they're putting me to sleep for it, and afterwords there will be considerable "irritation" (medical talk for pain methinks ;) ) but it should go smoothly. No date has been set for it as of yet though. :x
