Grey showed exceptional talent as he grew up. At the age of two he had the intellectual level of an adult. He could hold conversations with other people when he was three and people were used to a child talking like an adult. He was very adept with weapons at the age of six; he was squired by the village gaurdsman on how to use old weaponry. When he was 12, he could make his iron sword move by itself using concentration and mind power. A jedi recruit came through the town sometime around when he was practicing and saw his abilities. The jedi insisted that he leave and go to the jedi training center and see if he coul be recruited. The problem was that he didn't have enough money to travel so he stayed on his planet working as a hero and sellsword for justice until he was 16 and had enough money. He then got the fastest ticket to the jedi order to become a jedi, keeper of peace and defender of justice.
