Just to let yall know, theres a large fire out in my area, been going on for the last 3 days and as of late the fire department hasnt been able to contain it. I know its already consumed one of our golf courses (Legends), and is heading in my direction. So if I suddenly disappear for a while it prolly means my house is gone...

Where are ya Gue?

I'm in CO and its on fire. Isn't too near me though. But they say it could take a few months to put out. So all your fire fighters are here.

Damn forest rangers.

yes I am, pretty much the entire area for about 10 miles round, dependin on wind direction, is smoked out. Course those idiots got the flashin lights sayin "caution Smoke", like we couldnt see that...

Anyways I think they pullin in other fire department units from other countys, least thats what I seen going down the road on my way to work. So I hope everything is going ok

Eeek

I know exactly what it's like...... considering the type of fires Australia gets. Clean your gutters out and put water int he gutters if it really looks bad.

And stay put. A defended house almost never is burnt down. Undefended ones are the ones that get toasted.

I've taken a couple of toasty miles through Volusia county before. Daytona seems to go up like a tinderbox when I decide to go on vacation.

It won't rain here for nuthin! I guess sometimes it rains ashes. The sky is orange again. Smells like a barbeque.
