In the dark ages, a race of unimaginable power became the rulers of most of a planet. This race was the vampires and they were an unstoppable army of unholy creatures that ravaged the lands and attained the name of Nosferatu, or the "blood suckers of the night." One vampire in particular was known for creating bloodbaths wherever he went. Chaos and death were what he reeked of. During one of his hunts he came upon a village. This town was called Kalm because it had the most innocent people in it. It also had the greatest vampire hunter of all time and the fight between the hunter and the demon caused uncalculated damage. The vampire hid himself in a house for the daytime until the family came back from working in the fields. At dusk, the vampire came out of hiding and fed on the two adults. Before the monster could get to the child, the hunter showed up and saved him.The vampire fled before the hunter could finish him off. The hunter knew without his help the child would die and he didn't have time to test the child so he gave him a whole flask of holy water which gave him powers and immortality unless his head was cut off. He took the child in and taught him how to sense dark powers. Many vampires didn't show up because they had their own race war going on. At the age of 19 the hunter gave his squire the name Dios Kane but always referred to him as Angel becuase he could only sense pure innocense. Shortly after the honor of recieving a true name, they got information of a vampire stronghold. The vampires had a time portal and were going to try something. Dios and his master went there as fast as possible. They got there just in time to see the murderer of Dios' family go into the portal. The lord vampire fought the hunter while Dios watched. Eventually the hunter was striked down by the vampire. The vampire reveled in the strength of the hunter's blood only to be stabbed with the Unholy bane, "QuickSilvar." The bearer of the sword was none other than the vengeful Dios himself. Dios watched the vampire writhe in agony as his father and mother had. As Dios stepped into the closing time portal, the hunter saw Dios as an entity. An entity covered in an angel's purity but bleeding with a demon's soul. And so began Dios' eternal hunt for the murderer of his race.
Dios got to the time that Tomak had made his destination. Dios encountered the vampire a few times and tried to join the sith. Dios didn't make it into the Sith Empire but was a darkside user nonetheless. He encountered Tomak once and actually beat him but it accomplished nothing. After a long night, Dios was visited by the force and figured the darkside was blinding him.
Dios later came back to GJO to beg for forgiveness and join the ranks of the jedi. Dios became a padawan and committed to the jedi order.
