I still think that's The Flanneled One ;), it sure looks like him. And I think it's nifty that he's seen clapping as Palpy is giving the "I love democracy" speech. Perfect timing. And it's not unheard of for Lucas to do cameos...if you see the widescreen version of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, both Lucas and Spielberg are off to the left in the scene where Indy, Willie, and Short Round arrive at the airport after the escape from the nicely-named Club Obi-Wan. They're both dressed like missionaries in black robes and pith helmets.

As for Tarkin, I would like to see him show up in Ep III, especially since the plans for the Death Star show up in AOTC. (Do we still need to be using spoiler tags now that the movie has been out for a month? :huh ) And I like the casting ideas for Tarkin I've heard thrown around...Gabriel Byrne, Hugh Jackman, or Tim Roth. Hm, and I was just thinking, Gary Oldman would be interesting too. :)

no I'm still VERY sure that Cushing was over 6'3 .how tall is Wlakin?? if he is 6'4 6'5 and Cushing was/is atleast 6'3 the age factor would play out well (you shrink as you age)
