Eh, Morg uses Mozilla, its got much the same core programming, and their are a few others that use Netscape and AOL, so optimizing it is a good idea.

I just looked at the forums in Netscape 6.x and all in all, its not really too bad. I can fix it fairly easily. Fixing it for Netscape 4.x is a complete waste of my time though. :p

Actually, its not completely horrible, but yes its pretty bad. Tell all your friends to trash any version of Netscrape 4.x they have and get a real browser. :x

As far as straight working on the design Vis - not much. I did it a completely different way first. Then I hated it, so started over. I have all the REAL work to do, so I kept having to leave the Ciz Board. Because of that it took two weeks. Otherwise, probably a day.

Thence, I am lead to the conclusion .NET is completely frelling with the layouts and colours. It almost seems like from this machine that the tables are randomly set.

Positioning for one. Centre it, dont left justify

Second, the images in the banner itself dont seem to flow together well. They seem abrupt - the forground and hte words dont fit with the background. I would think a different background would work better, or at least that is from my POV and taste. The real problem isnt the Twil'lek Jedi (who is that in RL?) but the second alien Jedi. I would try this as a quick test - remove him, then move the text left in replacement.keep the Jedi in the arena obvious. Maybe reduce the outer glow of the bottom text by a point or two as well.

However, I will point out that this is my taste and style. Whoever did the banner, you do it for your taste and style. If you like it as it stands, then my opinion can go to hell :)

Oh, no doubt the rest of that format looks great.

Suggestion - tap the banner across 50 pixels, carry across the bars it presently overlays and add the triangle tails to them on the othe side of the banner. Tha'tll fill some of the space up on the left.

I think the other reason the banner / avatar positioning isnt looking great is that I do have my desktop set to 1400 * 1028 - which means the avatar is floating by itself and there is a lot of empty space on either side. A bit of a border around the Avatar would look great and fix that.

Int he end tho, minor details. The view of posts is really, really cool.

If I had flipped the gradient I used on the bar under the banner that would be really simple to do, but as it is, it requires at least one new image, maybe two. But I was thinking of adding the triangle things there myself too. :)

The header has been modified so that it no longer stretches across the entire width of the window, which was making it look bad at really high resolutions. :)
