History:
During a period termed the Dark Age on the planet of Krynn, An unknown unison produced one of that world’s first half-species. Knowing that if the birth escaped out into the public, the Mages of the Flame would make the journey to the small home of Tanis and Ura to reprimand the couple of their special son.
Unfortunately, a traveler noticed the strange features of the young half-draekard Chance and reported it to the Mages. The group set out two twin mages to retrieve the child. At this moment in time, Chance was barely one year of age.
When the mages made it to the house, they met fierce resistance from the parents and guardian of the home. The guardian was a fantastic white tiger that adored Chance to death, and which cost the feline its life. The mages slew the couple and guardian and returned back to the Mage’s Spire with the half-draekard. Over the time of two years that Chance had a special ability, which they dubbed psychokinesis, not knowing of the Force. They tried to train the child in the way of the mage to keep the outside public from seeing him as a lesser being.
Three years later an army of giants raided the Spire. The Giants ravaged any resistance and sold the remaining souls to another planet which was covered by slave mines digging out a valuable substance known as Grimstone**. Chance was subjected to the torture of digging 20 hours of the day. He was subjected to beatings beyond imagine for slacking off or just wandering away. Using the psychokinesis talent he possessed, Chance was able to disable guards that held the mine that he worked in under control. He escaped and lived in the bamboo thicket and surrounding forest for five years before being recaptured and relocated to a much harsher but less guarded mine.
Two years after the recapture, Chance was on the verge of death from exhaustion. Just before he passed out, A Jedi Padawan Shapeshifter named Kanji snuck pass the guards and rescued the half-draekard just before death. Kanji returned to the Jedi headquarters and introduced Chance to Jedi Knight Xazor who took the half-draekard to train. Kanji took on the responsibility to be a father to the orphan child. Xazor outfitted Chance with dark navy/green jedi robes and a unique blue engraved hilt slate blue sabre.
