What's Arcan IV Look Like? (And Request Taking)

The planet, if viewed from space? Anyone know?

I need to know the following:

How much ice, desert, land/sea ratio, color of sea and land(generally). Cloud color, amount, coverage, and storm frequency(is it a calm planet?). What the little ozone glow color is. And what's the color of the sun on it? How bright is the sun? How many moons? What are the color and sizes of the moons?

I'm making a graphic, depicting Arcan IV and maybe it's moons and suns surrounding it. This could be used for a banner or something, but I don't care. I'm just making it for fun more than anything else.

Also, I can make planets for people. Like if you have a made up home planet that you want brought to life, I can do it. Go to the OOC forum on the main page to see a thread where I lay out info I need for requests. Then you can reply here with a request, or there. I like making planets! No, I don't have a power complex..... :)

Okay, Arcan IV...

It is of course the fourth system of Arcan, a regular sun. It is slightly further out and hence is colder than Earth. The polar caps are bigger as well as the land mass. It's a misty sort of place as well. No moons have been invented. It does have a few storms and rain.

Hmm... Okay. How many planets are in the Arcan System? And does it have any natural moons? I want to make sure my question's clear. When you said "invented", I assume you meant a sattelite. I mean real moons. :)

*comes back hanging her head* It used to be around someplace, but I've lost it. What I remember is: Think old time New York, a little star wars-ized, but dirty, smelly, and generally icky.

Coruscant without the glitz. :) And of course, less buildings, and ground. But..you get the picture.

And it IS a real planet, you can look it up. Thats what *I* did. Yes I was the one who found Arcan IV! Its near the Lambda sector (I was trying to pick something relatively near TBH for an RP we did..and then Mark took over the whole planet! Silly Mark.)

I don't know if its on anything else that might give you more info. In the Essentials Guide, there is a planet called "Arkanias" but the description is totally different.

Other misc crap, Arcan is pretty close to Obra-Skai and Yavin.

Its diry, and it has 3 moons (which I gave to it). A lot of the run down/destroyed area is slowly being converted to natural perserves.

Fact: The NRSF base is on one of the few already existing perserves on the planet.

I'd try making the oceans more blue. Aside from that, verra nice.

You mean darker blue? Well, I figured since it's cold, the water would take on a icier color. I'm no rocket scientist, but I figured that with a lighter blue, it gave the illusion of being more chilled.... Plus darker blue kind of loos goofy when applied, but I'm considering it....

I'm making a banner for this board, to submit for review. It's for the thing Marcus is coming up with, where we're changing the board layout, etc. It uses that planet, a kick butt star background made by me as well, and a sun. :) All moons of the planet, with colors I just winged, and other planets in the system will be included. Then text and other effects will be applied on top of it to make it a headlining graphic. :) It should be really awesome when I finish. :)

Leia, I use a plug-in called "Lunar Cell". :D Once you check it out, which I assume someone will now that I disclosed my method, I'll kind of seem less cool. So be warned. It's such a great tool, it makes it easier than eating cherry pie. :D

We're examinign our options and seeing what we can come up with. There's a few tenative things that may or may not work. Who knows, probably stay the same or if somethign can be produced that kicks.... well see.
