I do believe the guy is chipper cause the next instalement of Final Fantasy is coming out to the wonderous British Isles where many games come out far after the American release due to companies who refuse to release games until all the countries over have the proper language made and imputted so games can be sold at the same time.
In other words they've been waiting for FFX which has been out here since Christmas and way longer in Japan who are already on the next game.

Well, Actually the original and FF7 were good. Everything else seems like its just some lame repetition of the same formula.

I agree with Morgan.

There was a bonus edition of FFX released in Japan that took place later after the ending of the game which ties up some loose ends.
Not sure if the British chaps got it.
The've been getting some good extras over there lately.

FF7 was the lamest, most convulted and contrived RPG I've ever played. It had it's perks - but they were much too few and far between to justify the amount of time it took (and I beat it in 3 days, the first time I played it).
FFX is my favorite in the series. The story was good (while not stretching itself too far, as FF7 did), the graphics were passable, the voice-acting was a very much welcome addition, and the combat was fun. The only Final Fantasy game I enjoyed nearly as much was FF5.
Still, it doesn't even come close to touching my favorite RPG of all time - Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete. Followed extremely closely by the Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete. Working Designs, I tip my hat to you.

Nup you beat 7 in THREE DAYS? Even racing through it without sidequests or leveling-up fights it's easily close to 30 hours of gameplay. For such a contrived game you certainly couldn't get enough of it in one sitting.
But for those who liked 7 (like me) ... and were completely turned off by the sequels and the movie (like me) ... Final Fantasy 10 is the apology.
The Easter Egg for sittng through the credits really did suck. That is my only real complaint.
