I've got to admit, I didn't actually find neither of them "funny" as such, I like to make a clear distinction between that which makes me laugh and that which makes me grin. The explanation Charlie gave was funny, my interpretation of the Bong image was funnier.

Bear in mind that BONG! is an expression that can be used when the lasses smuggle peanuts during cold weather. :)
