The Death Knight's Haypen ship, the Intruder II emerged from hyper space where it slowed to impulse speed. The planet of Ithor was now in sight as Soth made the necessary clearance check's before entering the inner atmosphere. The bright green and blue planet with it's many moons stood out against the black back drop of space like rare and precious Roon stone's. This was one of many place's within the Ottega system that Soth frequented for it's rare and exotic merchandise. However, this day, Soth had not ventured to Ithor to buy. On the contrary, the Sith Vampyre was tracking an individual, a female to be exact. He had not forgotten their last encounter as she had. The Death Knight at that moment in Rama's bar vowed to himself she would pay for her insult's and idle threat's. She had locked eye's with him and it was then that Soth knew she must die.
Despite the secret meeting between Jedah Lynch and himself that took place on Roon, the Death Knight had another vendetta with this Dark Jedi. Now her past would finally catch up with her, a fateful destiny that now hung in the balance. Death was now on the horizon!...
The Master Vampyre and his unwavering pursuit to find her had led him here to the Ithorian system where he knew her to be. The homing beacon on her ship that Soth had placed there before her departure from Munto Codru took him week's off his course. This would indeed prove to be more then a casual clash of saber's at best on the planet's peaceful surface. To the female in question, it would be a struggle between life and death! One that would test her sorely, one that would open her mind to the very real and possible horror that laid within the Death Master's grasp!...It would be,..."A Test of Faith!"

De'Ville sat in a tapcaf, drinking a chai tea, and trying not to think about the last time she'd been on the planet. Ithor was a place of mixed memories for her. Most of them were good, but ...at the same time, bad.
Depressing, perhaps. It was an interesting thought. Lilaena was lonely.
Jax was a distant presence in the universe, but he seemed safe. Tondry was... With an angry sigh she pushed thoughts of her husband from her mind and returned to her tea. She was here to gather information on the Sith Order from a contact she had on Corellia. The alien, most commonly known as a 'Wolfman,' was meeting her here in about a half an hour.
She sipped her tea again. Thinking on the past was useless. Revenge was easier on the heart.

Glorious night fall had finally fallen over the beautiful floating city and the planet of Ithor. Shop's were closing and the inhabitant's and visitor's thinned and went there own way. The Death Knight watched and studied Lady De'Ville throughout the day as she milled about the large city...She was waiting for someone, something. He too was patience, and when the time was just right he would make his move...
Now that the accursed star had given way to the night, Soth removed his cryo-helm and slipped unnoticed, undetected in the shadow's always near her. The Sith Magic that Soth called upon shrouded his form like the darkest of vial's. He could lash out now and kill her, but he would bide his time a bit further. It was the thrill of the hunt, the chace that the Master Vampyre savored the most. Into the clutches of darkness would she soon walk, into the jaws of death she drew ever so near!

De'Ville walked quickly through the streets of the Tafanda Bay...a cityship that held so many memories for her. She had stopped briefly in her room at her hotel before coming to meet her contact.
Wearing a dark brown robe, with ample sleeves and a hood, she walked slowly..appearing to wander. Throughout the day she had sensed danger, yet found none. Surely something was going to happen. It was just a matter of when. It always paid off to be too cautious, as opposed to reckless.
She turned her head, peering down a paticularly dark alley beside a bar. De'Ville could feel death down in the side street...but she knew many people had died there, about a year ago.
Tondry had saved her.
Strange, that she had needed saving. But yslamiri did that to Force users. She scowled, and quickened her pace, her thoughts distracting her from the real threat down in the alley. Lilaena clasped her hands together in front of her, the huge sleeves neatly obscuring her hands, and turned up another side street.
Her contact was already there, looking and feeling nervous. She stepped towards the alien, and held out her hand, a credit chit in her palm. "I trust you have what I asked."
"Of course, my lady." The alien looked around, even though he knew they were alone, and handed her a datapad, palming the chit as he did so. "The information on Vader is within."
"Again, you've done well." She opened her mouth as if to continue, but felt danger all around her. De'Ville looked to the side, and then back a the alien. What the frell...?!

A silent gasp hung between Lady De'Ville and the alien contact. His face and eye's were now widened in sheer terror as he feebly clutched at her. De'Ville quickly stepped back from "Wolfman" and to her own horror witnessed a pale and sickly green saber blade slowly tare through the front side of the alien creature. A desperate look of pity slowly crossed Wolfman's face as he looked to De'Ville for an answer she couldn't give. The mask of death fell quickly as it always does when the pang's of life ran it's full course.
Moment's later, a sinister laugh echoed throughout the abandoned alley way as the creature's body pitched forward and off the lethal blade that before impelled him. The Death Knight lowered his black boot as Wolfman hit the ground in a heap at De'Ville feet. She could now barely make out the telltale feature's of the one who just took her friend's life. His darkened form blending almost perfectly in the recesses of the inky shadows that surrounded him...It was none other then the dreaded Death Knight, Soth Nuevole!
"Ahh, Lady De'Ville, we meet at last!" Came Soth word's through clenched teeth, his marble like face carrying with it a wicked scowl as his eye's bore into hers. Soth's other saber blade slowly ignited to life as he took a defensive stance. Lady De'Ville wasted no time as her own saber met the challenge. A snap, then a hiss and she too faced off with the killer that stood only feet from her.
"Did you know him well m'lady?" Soth word's were mocking as he quickly raised a talon glove in De'Ville's direction. In that very instant, Lady De'Ville felt an unseen force slam into her chest. Her body immediately sprawled backwards as if a land speeder hit her full force. Thought's raced through her mind, it all seemed unreal, as if it were in slow motion. Like a terrible and frightful dream that she couldn't quite shake off. Nevertheless, the last thing De'Ville heard before she scrambled to her feet was the familiar and awful word's of Sith Magic! An electric smell filled the air around the Death Knight as thin blue tendril's of chaotic light begged to be released, coursing up and down Soth's enamored hand. It was Sith lighting!...

Back on her feet, De'Ville quickly processed what had happened, and found her lightsaber in her hand. The jaded purple blade hummed to life, and she eyed his hands as they danced with electricity, ready to catch whatever he flung at her.
"Nuevole, I barely knew him." She slowly backed away and to the left of the Death Knight, who she knew by reputation only. She felt sluggish, as if this were all a dream...but pulled the Dark side into herself, clearing away the fuzz in her brain with one fell stroke of certainty. This man would kill her if he could.
And she would return the favor.
De'Ville hefted her saber, cloak still obscuring her body. It will only get in the way. So, she shrugged it off, letting the thick wool drop to the alley floor, exposing the wicked looking blades attatched to her arms. The sharp metal did not extend past her wrists, so she kept a full range of motion in her hands.
Moonlight caught the edges, and she continued to slowly circle around to the left, watchful. "Nuevole...what is your purpose here?" Her voice was hard.

The Death Knight pivoted his stance as she slowly walked a distant perimeter from himself. His Vampyre teeth glinted in the moon light much like the two lethal blade's that De'Ville was now brandishing. Slowly but surely De'Ville was about to make her second and most costly mistake. Soth bided his time with her question. Obviously a simple distraction of course, to better fill out her deadly adversary and give her the time she needed for an offensive move.
"Why I have come to kill you...But first thing's first mortal!" Soth replied through clenched teeth followed by a low throaty growl. Just at the moment Soth quickly pointed his hand that was still coursing with the electrical charge at her upper torso. De'Ville fell for the sudden movement from the Death Knight and raised her saber at the anticipated strike area. She couldn't have been more wrong in her estimation. Little did De'Ville know the Master Vampyre was one step ahead of her...
The run off water that trickled out and from the base drainage pipe's from the adjoining building's in the alley way pooled at her feet. This was the perfect conductor and Soth quickly cashed in on her fateful mistake! De'Ville managed to bring up her saber blade to block the deadly bolt's of lighting. However, Soth adverted his hand just enough to strike the saturated area at De'Ville's feet. The lethal blue tendril's of lighting quickly coursed up and down De'Ville's form, arching out and around her in a circular pattern. Lady De'Ville howled in agony as the smell of her own burnt flesh filled the cool night air. De'Ville fell to the wet cobblestone in a heap as the immense pain registered in her brain. She felt almost physically helpless, drained as the robbing blue strand's sapped her precious life's energy. The Death Knight focused the powerful spell at her with all his hatred. If Lady De'Ville didn't react soon enough, she would surly die on the very spot she now laid upon!...

De'Ville cursed mentally as she fell for the Death Knight's misdirection. Electricity flowed up her legs into her body, and she momentarily fell to the ground, coming in contact with more of the puddle.
She gritted her teeth, not allowing a sound to escape them as she concentrated on absorbing the energy flowing into her. The Force was a powerful tool, and being the apprentice of Live Wire had helped her learn how to defeat the affects of Force Lightning. De'Ville moved her lightsaber as she struggled to her feet, finally catching the attack on its blade.
She was not as bad off as the Knight had hoped, and she had a few tricks up her own sleeve. The Death Knight ceased his attack, and she pressed her own, twirling towards him, saber flashing in dangerously.
He blocked with his own blade, and she backed off, stepping backwards, parrying the blows he now rained upon her. There... Without looking behind she knew the wall was close...Nuevole could see it, knew she was getting backed into a corner.
De'Ville jumped over his head, turning a somersault in the air and landed behind him. She threw out her hand, and Soth was shoved hard with the Force, slamming against the wall. Over her other hand a sphere of Force Destruction grew, boiling in the half light of the moon. She pointed it towards the knight, who was recovering from being crushed into the alley wall, and let it fly.

As the Death Knight's body slammed into the wall behind De'Ville, his powered armor made a sickly crunching sound as he hit full force. However, fortunately for Soth the shock from the blow was absorbed by the knight's elaborate armor leaving Soth somewhat physically unscathed.
At this point in the game, this minor inconvenience was the least of his trouble's for the moment. He could feel the welling power of the darkside accumulating behind him. Soth quickly shook the cobweb's from his mind and spun around. Without any hesitation, the Master Vampyre held up his right hand to the amulet about his neck. As he touched it, the multi faceted Rune Stone glistened then flashed. There was another sudden flash of light followed by second and even brighter flash of light. Lady De'Ville in vain tried to shielded her eye's with her right arm as she was caught off guard. The retina searing light blinded her momentarily as she closed her eye's tightly, the brilliance from the light still registered in her already closed eye's forcing De'Ville to turn her head away.
As the dark and powerful kinetic energy Lady De'Ville cast at Soth funneled to a narrowing pen point, it was rapidly absorbed and transferred within the ancient relic. The mysterious amulet acted as a conductor, much like a storage battery that housed the expended properties of the darkside it's self. It was now within Soth's power to volley the trapped power within the "Roon Stone" back at De'Ville. However on the other hand, if the amulet were to be purposely or accidentally clipped by a stray saber blade or perhaps damaged by one of the two combatant's in the melee, it would set off a chain reaction with fatal and devastating consequences! The detonating blast would not only cause a horrific explosion, but it also had the capacity and destructive power of multiple thermal detonator's that could easy level a city block in a circular perimeter of Tafanda Bay from ground zero.
Now that Soth had gained the upper hand for the moment he would use the power's of his cunning mind to distract De'Ville's attention. He was a Master of dream's and a manipulator of serial illusion's. He was now playing for keep's. He would hit the woman where it would hurt the most...The heart!
A faint whimper emanated from an area not far from where the two now stood...It was the cry from an infant that not even Lady De'Ville as a mother her self could ignore. "But were was it coming from?" De'Ville thought to her self as she fought to regain her eye's sight. It sounded so familiar...A cry she had heard countless times before.
"Yes, the cry from the child of your womb De'Ville. I have now taken it upon myself to be his new care taker." Soth replied through clenched teeth as he leapt at the prone woman. De'Ville spun around to meet the saber blow that fell quickly upon her, reaching to the force to direct her saber as it did so. The twin green saber's hissed in defiance as they clashed with De'Ville's own. Once again the woman warrior was loosing ground quickly to the Death Knight. As De'Ville's sight came back slowly in faded image's and hazy shape's, Soth took full advantage of her handicap. Soth saber's hummed as he rotated the duel blade's to the side and brought them over towards De'Ville's head. De'Ville managed to block the deadly attack as she extended both her arm's. This was exactly what the Death Knight anticipated!...
With blinding speed, Soth spun his body low in a 360 degree turn, extending his right leg as he pivoted. Soth caught the prone and unsuspecting woman off guard with the heel of his boot, sending her off her feet. However, before the woman was toppled, one of the sickly green blade's torn through and into the delicate flesh and muscle of De'Ville's upper thigh. The pain was excruciating as she hit the ground in a heap, both of her shoulder's and neck taking the brunt of the fall as she hit. Instinctively Lady De'Ville clutched at the already cauterized wound on her leg as she rolled to one side. The cry's of Jax grew loader in De'Ville's ear's as she fought for control to want seemed a loosing battle...Her faith was now being tested to it's fullest! Even in the heat of the battle, De'Ville's mind fell on the sound of her son...It just wasn't possible! How in the hell could his man have known of her son? They had only met twice in the past! Had he been tracking her all this time? He even managed to find her here,...on Ithor.
Soth let out a wicked laugh as he glared down at her. His eye's now blazed a cold blue hue as he mocked her.
"Disturbing isn't it m'lady...By now you must know your pathetic power's can never match that of my own. You are at my complete mercy Lady De'Ville! If you forfeit now, perhaps I can arrange for your son to be spared." Soth gloated over her stricken form as he continued.
"He may even be granted a long and prosperous life in my keeping. If you refuse,...Well, you get the picture of course. I wonder...Tell me De'Ville, do you love him enough to give him that chance you don't have now?" Soth word's were cold and unfeeling as he finished. The Death Knight held his head high with pride much like a general might when surveying a battle field he held victory over. Soth watched her every move as he savored the moment...

ooc: yes, how INDEED have you known of Jax, even to know what he sounds like? I dispute the idea that you could do this illusion well enough to trick the child's own mother. :) So lemme change your post a little. /ic:
While Soth had been gloating and giving his little speech, De'Ville had not been idle. Her left hand crumbled a bacta tablet on her wound and slapped a strip of synflesh on it, both of which she had retrieved from her utility belt. He had seen her, yet not stopped her, so confident he was in his victory.
Soth was too absorbed in his own brilliance to notice that the emotions he had been reading off her had been fed to him. Deep inside the heavy mind blocks she had in place, De'Ville had been surprised he had known about the child, even known it was a male child. But after those similarities, the baby he had created was nothing like her son. She fed the surprise to the surface, coupled it with very real rage that he would try to trick her in this way, and added some confusion and worry.
She was not confused, or worried. But Nuevole would not get off easily for trying to use her like this.
De'Ville shoved off from the ground with her hands and flipped up to her feet, her lightsaber still in her right hand. Nuevole did not expect her sudden move, and quickly blocked her strike.
She grabbed his neck with the Force, quelling any further speeches he might have been wanting to make. "Death Knight you try my patience. Your illusions are just that, illusions. I've seen parlour tricks that were more convincing." Her eyes narrowed as she concentrated on his trachea, keeping it completely closed.
De'Ville batted his saber away and twirled hers into a two handed grip and stepped towards him, saber aiming to gut him from groin to collarbone.

OOC: I see your point, however, keep in mind that Sothie in my previous post had been tracking her for some time, studying her, analyzing her. A lot of info could be gathered on a person if ya catch my meaning gf...Nevertheless, I let that go in your favor...:P /ic
De'Ville was not only foolish for underestimating the Death Knight, she was over confident and this alone would surely prove to be her undoing before it was all said and done. As Soth reached up with one hand to the crushing pain in his throat, he let his finger tip's brush over the amulet once again. Using the darkside to "Control Pain," the Sith Master concentrated on the power's stored within the relic. Immediately the roster of spell illuminated in his thinking. De'Ville stepped in to gut Soth as she seen what she thought to be a prime opportunity to do so...However she was sadly mistaken!...As she lunged in for the kill, a black and deep violet sphere appeared before her. It's was the dreaded spell, "Dark Ball"!
Suddenly De'Ville's saber stopped dead in it's track's as she continued to move forward from her own momentum, slamming her into the spherical ball that surrounded the dark knight. Her saber arched profusely with the plasmatic and kinetic energy from the newly formed sphere as it touched. Soth gasped, breathing a sigh of relief as her power over his trachea was disrupted. The deep violet tendril's engulfed De'Ville as her body made contact with it. Licking her entire form as it's gripping defensive power held her prone form in check.
Soth jabbed forward with his duel saber, passing through the prismatic sphere, spinning it in a tight counter clock wise motion as it made contact with De'Ville's own. The parrying move quickly dislodged De'Ville's saber she held loosely in her trembling hand's. De'Ville's body convulsed in agony as the immense dark energies threatened to consume her.
As each critical moment passed, Lady De'Ville grew rapidly weaker while Soth grew stronger. The Vampiric like sphere was sapping De'Ville's life force and transferring it right back to the Death Knight!

ooc: sorry for the incredible delay! /ic:
She spasmed in sudden agony, and felt her saber fall from her hand. With a gasp of supressed pain, De'Ville pushed at Soth with the Force, trying to push her own body away from him.
As a result of the intensity of the moment and her terror and rage at the attack on her body, they both went flying. Soth stumbled backwards out of the sphere, and De'Ville rolled to the ground, her clothing steaming from the sphere of energy.
She struggled to her feet, pulling the living Force into her, energizing her weakened body, and calling her saber back to her hand. There was no extra energy for words, and so the battle continued in silence.
De'Ville held out her hand as the Death Knight regained his footing, and clenched her fist. He felt a tightening around his right knee, and then the Force squeezed in around the joint, stressing it to the point of breaking, while De'Ville stepped up with her saber flashing.

ooc: np...Juz don't let it happen again or I'll tell on you!..:P / ic
Soth's armored body reeled backwards as De'Ville Forced pushed him away from herself. Soth knew full well that the woman in front of him was a seasoned warrior, and one not to be taken for granted...
Moment's later, the Death Knight could feel the constricting pressure around his right knee, he stumbled momentarily for his footing. Calling to the Dark-Side once again, Soth's mind focused on the immense pain he was feeling in his lower leg...Warmth permeated through the low extremity of the area effected by De'Ville's sudden assault. His power's as a Sith Magi gave him the much needed edge when he was confronted by such attack's.
The Death Master called upon the arcane spell of "Reduce Injury" to greatly reduce the pain inflicted. However this rapid spell did not heal the area as he would rely on his own innate regenerative property's as a "Creature of the Damned" to heal on it's own.
In the darkened alleyway, Soth's fearsome eye's blazed as two thin crimson slit's as he narrowed them at De'Ville. But oddly Soth seemed to make no gesture of attack towards her. The Death Knight just seemed to stand their as an unmoving statue without purpose...
There was a slight creaking noise from above Lilaena...The rain gutter high above snapped in a jointed section then swung much as a pendulum would. De'Ville body spun only in time to just narrowly escape the lage section that had broken free, heading straight in her path as it crashed to the spot were she once stood. But this diversion was not without it's price to the woman as she somersaulted out of it's way...
The Death Knight flung his duel saber's at Lilaena as she retreated from the collapsing debris. One of the sickly green blade's tore deeply into her right deltoid as Soth spun it in her direction...As De'Ville landed the pain registered fully in her mind as the saber returned to the Knight's talon hand...Soth was picking De'Ville apart like a "Roon" raven, tearing her flesh away little by little until it existed no more...De'Ville's right arm seemed useless for the moment as her saber began slipped from her hand.
"Come now m'lady,...Is this the extent of your pathetic power's?" Soth's mocking word's were with tipped with hate as he held his glowing left glove in her direction...

De'Ville bit back a curse, and pushed all thoughts of pain from her mind with the Force. There would be time enough to heal after this battle.
She merely concentrated on his knee, and with a wrenching pop the joint gave way under the pressure she exerted upon it. The knee dislocated and crushed, his right leg buckled underneath him. Her wound on her shoulder was cauterized, from the saber, and did not bleed, but her movements with that arm were limited.
She saw his glowing glove, and extended her own hand, sending dark lightning towards his extended extremity.

ooc: Okie...And while your at it maybe you can get mine at the same time...:P Crushed my knee...Ok I see how it is...Time to turn up the heat on yo ass! LOL Thanks Holly :):/ic
Soth's pain registered in his mind but the "Reduce Injury" made the pain more bearable...The Death Knight simply shifted his body weight to his good leg for the moment as his regenerative properties as a Creature of the Night healed him...
Lilaena held out an outstretched hand towards Soth, however she was to late to retaliate as she found her body jerked from the ground she was standing on. She was now quickly hurled through the air towards a near by stone wall...She had just enough time to extend both of her arm's out in front of her, thinking out of sudden reaction she might be able to lessen the impending impact. As the momentum sped her into the wall, both of her wrist's buckled under the sudden blow...A loud crunching sound filled the night air as her body hit face first. De'Ville's saber was once again dislodged from her grasp as she impacted with a tremendous thud. Her right knee cap as well registered with pain in her mind as the dark lighting she had intended for Soth shot fourth from her hand in a random pattern only to cease once she hit. Wildly the dark violet tendril's of lighting arced high above Soth's head then to the right of the Death Knight, missing him as he easily hopped to one side out of harm's way. The female combatant was now high above the alley way at his mercy. Soth squeezed his hand tighter as he held her prone aching form to the wall pressing her tighter against the cold smooth surface, the force of it making it harder to breath at each passing moment.
"How fitting M'lady...However, we both know this is a dead end street for you!" The Death Knight's smooth mocking word's stung at her frustrated mind as she felt the unseen crushing weight from behind her. Lilaena could already feel her wrist's swelling as she gasped for air in a panic. Her body then gave way to the pain that shot up her arm's were she then collapsed flat to the wall...She was being crushed to death!

De'Ville felt a tear streak down her cheek from the pain her mind refused to allow her to feel. Her ribcage creaked under the pressure, and she gasped, collecting her thoughts.
Soth was laughing to himself, even as he hobbled on one leg, and De'Ville concentrated once more. He felt his body being grabbed by an unseen hand as she muscled him up off the alley floor and smacked him against the opposite wall. She used his own trick against himself, and the Death Knight found himself nose to nose with the brick wall, his healing knee smashed painfully against it.
De'Ville threw all her power against him, drawing in the Force with all her might and crushing him against the wall. She began to see spots, and she could feel the warmth of blood coming out of her nose and ears and the pressure inside her body increased. Something was going to give.... but until it did, he would suffer as much as she.
She squeezed her eyes shut, trying to visualize her saber on the ground, and it wiggled, but the pressure on Soth decreased. She gasped as his efforts against her redoubled, and returned her attention to him, trying to break his concentration.

There was a sound of crunching metal as Soth's armored body hit the wall across from De"Ville... Unfortunately to De"Vill's surprise, the immense pressure did not let up but only intensified even the more. She was now finding it hard to stay focused let alone breath!...
Soth knew from experience that such an ability could be diverted and deflected if channeled correctly. As he reached out to the Dark-Side he calmed himself to the point of relaxation. Slowly the pressure he felt against his body pushed outward and away to the side's of him, pressing the stone around him in such a manner that it began to crack and give way...Moment's later an outer circle around the Death Knight collapsed, pushing the brick's to the building inward. Debris fell into the alley as Soth began to fall...Soth landed softly as he levitated through the Dark-Side, however when he did this, his focus on Lilaena De'Ville was momentarily broken...Lilaena began to fall as well, but Soth resumed the spell as he lifted his talon hand in her direction as he spun to view her rapid decent to the alley way below.
Once again the woman felt the overbearing force smash her face first into the wall. Blood oozed from a fresh facial wound as her mouth slammed hard on the masonry wall. Even her prized weapon's and other assorted item's she carried on her person began to groan under the crushing force. De'Ville's mind fought for consciousness as it began to blank in and out...A slow darkness fell over her peripheral vision like hand's covering her open eye's. Then a dreaded fear followed as she could hear the wicked hiss from Soth saber's come to life. The Death Knight without further hesitation spun his duel saber to a javelin position where he then released it at her prone back!...Second's later Lilaena felt one of the green blade's pierce her shoulder blade where it then exited out the front side of her body and into the wall...Soth then called the lethal saber back to his hand were it came to rest once more...A blood curtailing shriek from the woman filled the night air as Soth prepared once again to pin her to the wall...This time he was aiming for the heart!...

De'Ville was beyond pain. Adrenaline and the Force flooded her body, and her anger at the Death Knight only increased as he violated her more. She could sense the saber coming towards her again through the Force, and concentrated. Feeling the Force, as exerted by Soth, pushing her towards the brick wall, she simply pulled the Force in around her as a shield, and broke through the wall.
Lilaena tumbled to the floor inside the third floor of the building, and gripped the lightsaber with the Force, pulling it towards her and deactivating it. The green blade was extinguished, and she pulled her vibroblade and cut the hilt in half, tossing the two pieces to opposite ends of the hall. Soth seemed confused, and his knee was a considerable hindrance to his movement as he hobbled towards the building she had disappeared into.
Her right arm, damaged in the shoulder in two places, dangled painfully, and she quickly yanked her lightsaber from the ground outside to her left hand, and then ran into the depths of the building, towards the stairs. De'Ville shouted, "Soth! You cannot defeat me!"

The air around Lilaena grew thin and contorted as she bent the Force to her will at the same time the Death Knight released the lethal duel saber's from his grasp in her direction. The pressure within the circumference around De'Ville's body was so immense that the brick's burst inwards on the third floor in a heaping crash.
As a thick cloud of dust and debris fell as well to the outside of the establishment, Soth eye's narrowed into two thin crimson slit's as he glared up at the gapping hole that was left behind. Part of the brick wall at that moment gave way under it's own weight as it fell to the alley below causing the ground to tremble with it's sudden collapse...The Death Knight had only took a few step's in the direction of the building that De'Ville had disappeared in, when all the sudden and without warning the entire wall behind Soth collapsed. The entire structure that ran parallel with the adjacent building in the alley toppled from the damage that Soth had done prior when a major support beam snapped and gave way under the faulty load. The Death Knight quickly glanced up as he folded both of his armored arm's over his head for protection, however it was all in vain as his dark from quickly disappeared under an enormous pile of rubble and dust.
Lilaena De'Ville felt the ground shake in that very moment as she made her way down the flight of stair's to the second level of the building. It was as if the Death Knight in his unbridled rage was bring the whole area down in hope's of killing her at the same time. Nevertheless, if the Creature of the Damned was anything less then what the Dark Gift had granted him upon his turning, the place in which he now lay compressed below, under the ton's of rubble and debris, would have ultimately been his final resting place!
Indeed, fate had found favor in the Sith woman. De'Ville would live to see another day, and to tell the tale of her encounter with the much feared and dreaded Death Knight of the Black Rose. This near brush with death also paid the woman handsomely in unseen dividend's...She would not walk away empty handed...In the coffer's of knowledge and experience was a valuable lesson she took with her, promoting De'Ville into the undisputed rank's as a Master in her own right...And that alone was the badge of honor De'Ville wore proudly as she walked away in one piece that precarious night on Ithor!...
ooc: As a "Sith Master/Death Knight Soth" on the SW board's,...I declare here and now the much deserved promotion of "Lilaena De'Ville" to the rank of "Master." Thank you Hollie for the great story and the awesome RP fight here...:) obtw...Like they say, "It's not over until it's over...Or the fat lady sings." :P
