Lady Vader
May 25th, 2002, 10:46:54 PM
*LV sat in her chambers, somewhat bored in fact. LW had insisted on taking care of everything and had told her sister in darkness to relax. Relax? LV shook her head. It was all she could do from going out onto her balcony and scream. Her insides were churning and she was sure she would go insane from... relaxing.*

*Instead, she let her frusteration... or was it anxiety?... out through a long sigh. Iesis sat next to her, frantically cleaning and preening, even though the large cat had been given a bath. LV smiled. That was one thing Iesis despised. Yes, the large cat enjoyed swims in the lake in the garden, but anything to do with soap was frowned upon by the Corellian panther. Never the less, the big feline had endured it all with patience and a bit of grunting.*

*The sun would soon set. This prompted LV to stand and strip from her robe to slip into the black leather dress she had set aside. It was a simple straight dress, no frills or whatnots. Just leather from top to bottom, with no sleeves or straps. A lengthy black, hoodless, velvet cape lined with satin would be her train. She slipped on her favorite pair of leather boots, and slipped on the fingerless full length satin gloves. She would wear her mask, but not her usual dark purple one. Instead, she had a leather mask, made to match the dress. Within an hour, she had finished dressing and readying herself.*

*Once finished, she leaned against the frame of the door that led out onto the balcony, "relaxing" again. She glanced over momentarily at Iesis, who was still preening. Sighing, she looked back out as the sun disapeared over the horizon, seemingly melting into the Corellian sea. Yes, this relaxing would definitely drive her insane.*

LV was content on driving her crazy. LW had finally got her to go to her room and try to relax before the ceremony. With her our of the way she could finish all the annoying last minute preparations. Everything had to be pefect and the servants were running around in fear of her wrath. As the sun began to set everything was finally starting to take shape.

This was going to be a perfect night if she had anything to say in the matter. With one last check of the ceremony area to make sure everything was in order she headed back upstairs to get her daughter.

Ariel ran to her mother who scooped up the child into her arms. Her nanny had gotten her ready while LW made all the necessary preparations.

Going down the hall LW let herself into LV's room. "The guests are starting to arrive. Are you ready? Its the big day!"

*LV turned to face LW as the other woman came waltzinf in with child in arms.*

More like night. Thank the Core it's a clear night and the moon is full. The Vampyres should like that.

*Suddenly her brain started filling with details and whatnots.*

Is the gazeebo set up? I hope the chairs are all lines up... not too many now. What about the fire torches lining the area? Did someone light those yet?

*The questions kept pouring out and it was all LW could do to shut her up. After reasurances from her friend that all was taken care of, LV took in a deep breath and let it out slowly.*

Ok, ok, sorry. Yo know me... always having to be in charge.

*She chuckled and straightened her black cape out, tugging on her gloves to keep them from sliding off.*

And, as always, your choice in fashion worked out purrrfectly.

*She smiled at LW, walking towards the door, Iesis bounding just behind LV.*

LW smiled at the endless stream of questions. She just wouldn't stop worrying. She gave her sith sister a reassuring hug. "you look beautiful. Everythings perfect."

Holding the door open she followed LV out. She could sense the people milling about in the gardens and everyone was eagerly awaiting the ceremony.

Ogre Mal Pannis
May 26th, 2002, 07:47:56 AM
It wasn’t often that Ogre was seen anywhere other than his adopted home world lately. He had however been sent a message which intrigued him enough to venture froth from the lavish foliage of Meras to the world of Corellia to witness the upcoming event.

He was among those milling about in the gardens and quite noticeable due to his size and skin color. It would be interesting to witness this event. Such unions were rare occurrences and the prospects of their being lasting were even more rare.

To say he had dressed up for the occasion would definitely have been the wrong thing to say, for he held his dark robes draped over an arm and was adorned just as he typically was. Weapons of many varieties adorned his body, even though many would consider him a walking weapon without such tools.

He remained silent and watched the proceedings.

Dalethria Mal Pannis
May 26th, 2002, 06:56:38 PM
And you would be expected to dress differently?

It was a familiar presence and voice that found Ogre mentally before Dalethria had found him physically. She was roaming around the area, curious as to what the palace grounds looked liked. If memory served, this was the first time that Dalethria had ever been here under the Order's rule. She was impressed with her surroundings but still enjoyed the pleasant and simple ways upon Meras.

Few were here and no one was here that she recognized, save of course for her husband. There was no way that she was going to miss this occasion and felt honored that Lady Vader herself invited both her and Ogre... it also gave Tirsa some time to get used to babysitting anyway....

Making her way through the thin crowd, Dalethria also noticed that most were dressed in the finest clothes that money could buy. The Sith Mistress had opted for comfort instead of formal. Black leather was her choice instead of silk, which of course could not be seen for it was covered underneath her black robes. The only time that Dalethria took was in her hair.... It was braided in an old Imperial style. Two braids started on either side of her head which became one as it met at the base of her neck and continued down until her hair rested at the base of her back.

All I have to say is about bloody time.

She looked up at Ogre with a lopsided grin.

Wouldn't you agree love?

Lilaena De'Ville
May 26th, 2002, 11:28:57 PM
De'Ville stood silently in the spaceport, drenched with emotions. Not daring to pilot her own ship to Corellia, she had arrived aboard a general transport under an assumed name.

She carried no baggage. Not visible, anyway.

Lilaena brushed her fingers across her forehead, and blinked. The ceremony would be starting soon, if her information was correct. Which it was. Her dark blue cloak was dusty and travel stained, but she walked lightly, even though memories were dragging her down.

So much to remember here. De'Ville hailed a taxicab and had it drop her off at the edge of the city, outside the Sith headquarters. There was a dry heat, and a trickle of sweat dripped down the middle of her back.

She dared not use the Force enough to supress her body's need to sweat, and so suffered as she walked nearer to the imposing walls under the cover of darkness.

Ages it seemed since Cloak had been to the sith palace. Just looking at it from afar brought back so many memories. It seemed that new memories were about to be forged, as the sun was almost set over the horizon. Old faces and new ones awaited him. This was a great time to make peace with his dissapearance and return to his home.

Cloak was somewhat appropriately dressed for the occasion. He was decked in black formal robes trimmed with gold that were native to his home world. They hung down and dragged upon the floor behind him. Tucked under his arm was a somewhat large box. It was mysterious in it's own. It was fashioned of a dark almost black wood, and had a delicate pattern widdled into it. It's top was decorated with a deep red jewel, and its hinges and latch was solid gold. But more of a mystery was it's content.

Cloak moved on expeditiously and had reached the ceremony grounds with great timing. The Dark Garden was "alive with death", and was only to see more guests. As he moved to his seat, cloak offered a casual nod to Mr. and Mrs. Mal Pannis whom seemed to have been in the gardens for awhile.

Darth Vader
May 27th, 2002, 04:56:33 PM
:: He sat patiently...alone and in complete darkness...and silence. Only now could his meticulously-veiled feelings be confronted. The mask was his destiny now. Its dark shell had made his prison complete. Yet he was indeed powerful, as he knew he would become. The guise instilled fear...fear that its wielder could use in confidence. Its dark recesses did not sustain his breath, like the Vader of old, but it nevertheless made him dependent. It was power. Power above all else, the man within the mask desired.

And he desired Lady Vader, just as much as the mask he wore.

It was not for love. To call it such would slander the word itself. There was nothing selfless or noble to the Dark Lord's determinations. She was that which was intangible, unattainable...and she was all that he could not possess or control. He was a puzzle, and she was another, but one which held his missing pieces. The jealousy, greed, and lust for what she stood for...it nearly drove him mad. If she were to instill in him that which he did not have...he would be perfect.

And then, people would truly fear Darth Vader once more.

But for now, the Dark Lord of the Sith sat in his durasteel prison, sitting upon his twisted macchinations like so much pirated treasure. ::

Lord Soth
May 28th, 2002, 12:42:41 AM
Moon light glistened over the multi colored hull of the Haypen class star fighter as it landed in the space port. As the quad engine's whined to a stop, the repulser lift landing ramp slowly descended. Moment's later Tatiana and Soth Nuevole emerged together arm in arm. The Death Knight's lover looked ravishing this night and it was noted in his eye's and his subtle smile as Tatiana locked eye's with him.

"Your beauty far exceeds anything I have ever laid my eye's upon my love." Soth's smooth word's were almost as soft as a whisper as he spoke.

Slowly the couple made their way to the garden's were the proceeding's where to take place. A number of guest's had already arrived early, some familiar face's stood out in the crowd as Tatiana and Soth took there place. Soth nodded to those he knew...

The dark Vampyre pulled a chair for Tatiana before taking a seat himself. He then reached into the fold's of his black Sith robe and produced a single beautiful black rose.

"For you my love...A symbol of our unity and the dark passion that stir's it." Soth then slowly placed a gentle kiss on her soft lip's then took Tatiana's hand in his own.

As the timed event edged ever closer, more people arrived in larger number's. Soth coolly glanced about the lavish garden's, his fierce blue eye's narrowing a bit. He sensed something, someone...Nevertheless, if there was to be any trouble, the duel saber at his side would quickly answer the call!

*LV stood, unmoving, looking out of the palace's window at the small gathering out in the gardens. She suddenly felt at ease. She could see Shenraun off to the side, patiently sitting near the marble gazeebo where she and Lord Vader were to echange their vows. Iesis was at her heels, back to preening, picking at her paws like only cat's do.*

*She briefly glanced over at LW, who almost seemed more nervous than she felt. She cocked her head slightly, favoring her sister with a crooked grin.*

Would it make you feel better if I began pasing?

*She chuckled, knowing full well her sudden calmness was driving her close friend batty.*

Lilaena De'Ville
May 28th, 2002, 01:25:12 AM
De'Ville stared up at the walls, pulling inside herself. She could not fully mask her presence, not from so many people, but she could abandon the Force for the moment.

If she could have held a yslamiri, the Sith would have noticed the lack of the Force. Null space, they called it. If De'Ville used the Force, they would know another user was in the area. If anyone was paying attention.

She was sure someone would be. TSO was not quite dumb enough to disregard the outside, even on such an important, attention consuming occasion. Not quite. But almost.

De'Ville stared up at the huge wall again, and slipped out of her boots. Feet bare, lightsaber at her side, and armblades slung over her back (just in case, she told herself), the Dark Jedi slipped her fingers into a crack and pulled herself up against the wall.

Fingerhold by toehold, she slowly scaled the wall. Her current position would place her at the very end of the immence gardens, far from the festivities. There were no guards on the wall. There never had been. Few people were stupid enough to break into the Palace.

And fewer still ever returned.

De'Ville stretched for another handhold, and couldn't find one. She bit her lip as her hand searched, scrabbling over the suddenly smooth face of the wall. With a barely restrained gasp, she returned her hand to its former position, and shifted her weight to reach with her other hand.

Glancing down, she could barely see the ground in the growing darkness. Half way. At the last second she found another crack, and wedged her fingers into it. Her legs were beginning to tire, but she forced them onward. Without the Force, it was not as easy as it could have been. But nothing was impossible.

LW was ready to pull her hair out and now LV had the nerve to get calm on her. Where was the calm several hours ago when she could have used it?

"What will make me feel better will be to have everything run like clockwork. I swear if anything goes wrong I'll have someones head on a platter."

LW laughed at her own grumpy mood. You'd think she was the one getting married. The guests were milling about happilly but LW felt a strange weight on her mind. Something akin to a tickle deep in her concious...shrugging she pushed the feeling aside. It was probably the stress getting to her.

Gav Mortis
May 28th, 2002, 08:33:57 PM
A great deal of deliberation it had taken in order for Gav to pursuade himself to return here on this night; he wasn't going to come but he was glad he did. The atmosphere and guests present were all that was required to ascertain his belief that this way of life, was a waste of life and he was finally content with his own outlook on the future and the future of these individuals.

It was a beautiful night and he loved Corellia; it was such a natural planet in so many ways, such natural beauty ranging from clear the golden rays of sunlight, beaming down from the bright, blue skies warming lush, green meadows and valleys below, delicately irrigated by quaint, flowing streams and rivers. Equally, this cool, crisp summers eve with a romantic moonlit sky painted decoratively with the thousands of stars visible in this system matched the amorous day. Lady Vader and her partner had no doubt chosen an ideal time to tie the knot.

Gradually, the Palace Gardens were becoming increasingly populated with nameless faces, no doubt of this Order or the illustrious Empire of dark-siders but it didn't matter either way to him, in his eyes they were all mad; insanely driven for selfish power and hollow glory that will never come. To think, he had been in that very same frame of mind a few years ago; the allures of the Dark Side are blinding; blinding to logic and reason, blinding to right and wrong, blinding to love and hate.

"Perhaps I am being to quick to judge. There maybe hope for some yet, there is hope for some and likewise, hope for me." He thought silently to himself, sat on a decorative stone seat on the outskirts of the gardens, looking across to the window where he could feel the unmistakable presences of Lady Vader and, her.

"What am I doing here?" He asked himself, standing, then beginning to wander a little until he came to a small pond next to the enormous outer walls, in which there could be seen a small hole from which water poured, cascading down the glistening stone until it reached the pond below.

Before sitting Gav paused for a moment as if in thought, he thought he could sense a nearby presence; one he had sensed before but not in a while. He then suddenly felt for the pouch at his side; still there. This contained his somewhat contraversial gift of "Good Will" for the to-be newly-weds. He had decided not to wear any kind of overly dramatic, gothic robing for the ceremony, after all he didn't want to look like everyone else; instead he wore a light grey cross between Jedi and Sith robing (if one had to describe it), that way it was traditional to a point except he wore no hooded robing, just a simple tunic as such. He was also careful not to scrape his newly purchased black boots, he seemed to go through boots by the dozen lately and it was becoming somewhat strenuous on his already limited finances.

With a sigh he sat on the edge of the pond, comtemplating the night ahead and waiting with interest for the person scaling the other side of the wall to emerge.

Lilaena De'Ville
May 29th, 2002, 12:39:01 AM
De'Ville gripped the top of the wall and hoisted herself flush with the top, laying there for a moment to catch her breath. She'd managed to rip off a toenail during the ascent, but the pain helped clear her mind and give her focus.

Three more deep, calming breaths, and she drew herself to a crouch on the wall, and then leapt down to the ground, twenty feet away. The wall was much shorter here on the inside than it was on the outside. As her feet touched the cool grass, damp from the dew, she sensed something...someone.

Krasst. De'Ville dared to probe momentarily with the Force at the source of what she had sensed. She withdrew almost immediately. He was familiar to her...and more familiar with her former master, the Mistress Live Wire. He knew she was there now, and had probably known all along and had been waiting.

How long has he known? The very fact he was alone and without a squad of troopers was a little reassuring.

There was no use in hiding. At least not from him. Not this time. De'Ville edged out from the wall, giving herself room behind, and caught his outline in the darkness. Any more use of the Force and she'd bring Live Wire herself swooping down on her. Unless she had sent Mortis. In which case, De'Ville was royally frelled and in for a fight.

She hadn't come here for confrontation. Only to be a fly on the wall. That thought brought a wry smile to her lips as blood from her toe mingled with the dew at her feet.

Athena smiled as she made her way into the gardens. She had left her home on Coruscant, to watch her good friend get wedd. She smiled as she noticed her sister Dale, and brother in law Ogre. The two seemed happy although Dale without her daughter didnt seem to happy.

Drapped in her black cloak and an elegant dress in a midnight blue shade. The moon was bright and full. Darkness and oddly love filled the air.

Athena watched and waited she noticed a female she had seen at TSE but never spoke with. De'Ville... She was not a member. But then the clone would have nothing to do with that. She just remembered from the memories of her maker.

Many guest seemed to make their way around to socialize...

*The immense reptile, sometimes refered to as a dragon, sat motionless to the side of the marble gazeebo where his mistress and her mate were to be united. Unless people actually took notice of him closely, they would have mistaken him for a grand statue, meticulously carved and painted.*

*But his purpose was far from just being a garden ornament. He was the central look-out for anything. His height allowed him to see the garden's walls and his inrafred vision allowed him to see well in the darkness. The rest of the TSO troops were hidden within the palace and in strategic places in the garden, though they would not be seen unless needed.*

*He watched the small crowd milling around without so much as moving his head. His curiousity peeked slightly as he watched a lone man sit by his pond (he refered to all parts of the garden as his) on the opposite side of where he sat.*

*While standing there, a warm movement caught his eye, and he turned his head slowly to see the warm signature fall behind the brush against the wall. He snorted softly, and watched the area for the slightest movement, noting it was near the man sitting alone next to the pond.*

Stopping to look out of a window to check on the festivities she saw shenraun keeping watch. Nothing would go wrong with him around. No one would dare do anything stupid lest they be ripped to shreads in his immense claws.

The strange weight on her mind didn't seem to want to go away and it was starting to irritate her. Opening up her senses she felt Gav some distance away. Was he the source of the annoyance? They hadn't been on the best of terms and since retrieving Ariel their relationship had been extremely strained. Sighing she closed her mind off, this was not the time to dwell on her personal life.

May 30th, 2002, 07:00:45 PM
Mu cursed underneath her breath once again as she double checked her landing coordinates of her *ahem* borrowed Lamda Class Shuttle.

"Way to go knuckle head... over shoot the landing site why don't ya."

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath then forced herself to not panic... she could still make it to the wedding on time. Her hands quickly worked the controls and the ship touched down lightly on the landing pad. She powered down the shuttle and paused for a moment to look out the cockpit's window at the nearby Sith Palace. A soft whistle escaped her lips.

At the rear of the craft she pulled out a highly polished metalic chest on a small repulsor lift. As the ramp lowered to the flight deck she took a moment to double check herself in a small handheld mirror.

A sigh escaped her lips, "good enough I guess."

Striding forward, she could hear her boot heals clicking on the ramp. Her trim long black leather coat, the best in her closet, flowed behind her like a cape in the wind. At the base of the ramp she paused and listened. A slight breeze caught the collar of her white silk shirt and fluttered at her neck. Picking up the soft sounds of people talking she followed her hears and senses towards the gardens, metalic chest in tow.

As he walked toward the gardens, the place where the ceremony would soon begin, he could hear footsteps behind him. He turned to see a woman dressed in a black leather coat walking with a metalic chest in tow. He hadnt intended to arrive at the ceremony as late as he was, it was only that he was new to the order, and knowing that he wouldnt know most of the guests, hadnt wanted to be forced to make small talk for any longer than necessary. He was there out of respect for the senior members of the order to which he belonged.

He slowed his steps just a bit, his violet eyes turning back to focus on the path in front of him as he continued towards the gardens.

Malice Draclau
May 31st, 2002, 07:39:51 PM
A lone figure stood just outside the entrance into the garden. He was clad in a white trench coat, his white hair hung behind him reaching to the base of his back. Looking around the man entered. It hadent been that long ago since he was last here. Infact, it was very recently. The soft light from the stars above made his hair and clothes shine like silver. Indeed thisws a perfect night to have a wedding.

Malice Draclau, former sith knight of TSO is what he is now known as. He had recently left the order to persue his own ambitions. The council members understood and let him go with goodwill. So now he would return the favor, He had heard from a few other wandering sith that Lady Vader and Lord Vader were to be married. This was something he could not miss. Malice now walked up the steps and pounded on the two big doors.

In a moment two troopers opened it up and let in the sith, for they remembered who he was. Walking inside Malice looked forward, he was quite a ways from the festivities and decided to take his time walking. As he made his way towards the others, something or rather someone made him stop. Looking forwards and off to the right he saw a lone figure by a pond. Probing with the force he knew instantly who he was. Walking up to the man Malice bowed his head.

*Geetings Gav, how have you been?. Why are you not with the other's, do you not want to wish Lady Vader and her soon to be husband good luck?*

Malice stood next to him staring into the dark watery pond.

Mu caught sight of the young man slowly making his way into the gardens. Her brisk pace brought her along side of him within a few steps. Without a word she reached out and linked her arm through his and started sweeping him along with her.

"Come on, we don't want to be late." She laughed at his startled look. "Name's Mu Satach, Rogue Sith Mistress extrodinare!" she said with a flip of her hand then winked at him. "A friend to both the bride and groom. And you are... " she paused and sized him up a bit. "obviously new one around here. hmmm... so whom do you know, Vader? or Vader?" Mu's eye's twinkled with delight as they entered the gardens.

De'Ville slipped backwards as the demon Sith approached Mortis, and she concentrated on avoiding detection. Standing absolutely still, and obscured from sight by the darkness and the trees, she pulled into herself. Using the Force now, with two Sensitives here, would not draw attention from the crowd up by the tents.

Mortis still sat by the pond, in between De'Ville and the newcomer. If Draclau did not leave soon, she could be over the wall again in three seconds.

His expression was indeed startled. He had known she was behind him, but certainly he hadnt expected her rather bold gesture of linking her arm in his.

But the startled expression disappeared quickly, and was replaced by a relaxed smile as she introduced herself and hurried him along to the gardens. His violet eyes studied her as they walked, taking in details about her.

Generally, he wasnt as trusting of individuals the first time he met them as he was of this woman. But if she had been cleared for landing on the planet, he assumed this once that there was little to worry about.

Her question of who he was, she had answered for the moment herself with her next question of who it was he knew.

He shrugged, his smile broadening a bit as he caught the twinkle of delight in her eyes. Her lighthearted, for the moment at least, attitude was infectious, and he was glad to have her company. He hadnt expected to be escorting, at least for this short walk, an attractive woman to the ceremony.

"I dont really know either one of them." He admitted, an almost sheepish expresison appearing only briefly in his features. 'I only know of them." He added as they continued their hurried stroll to the gardens.

'Im Sasha. Im an apprentice of Dark Lord Dyzm." He said in an effort to explain his presence there.

"How do you know them?" He asked conversationally.

[I]The wasnt a chance in hell he would miss the bringing together of two such powerful and well reknown sith as the Vaders. It had been a long and most embaracing journey, involving a short trip out of his teritory and then being smuggled by transport frieghtors all the way to Corriliea, the rest had all been a series of bribes and a little sneaking around, but now he was there. "OH dear..." Mu laughed at Sasha's question, "now that's quite a story and one not quite appropriate for such an occation as this."

Mu was in an exceptionally good mood this evening, maybe it was the full moon, maybe it was the night air, or maybe it was just she hadn't seen her friends in such a long time and was looking forward to the evenings events.

"Let's just say in our younger days we all use to frequent a certain late night establishment where fighting skills were highly desirable." she chuckled at the private memory. A slight movement of her hand manuvered the metal chest out of the way until the appropriete time to present the gift to her friends arose.

So softly did De'Ville land, like the drop had been no more than a foot; she had done well to avoid the gaurds, scale the wall, drop silently and above all, mask her presence from the others. This led Gav to one conclusion, wherever she had been all this time, she has grown much stronger, develloped and matured as a Force-user. He smiled inwardly, she didn't know how to react and equally she didn't know how he would react, which is understandable; where exactly did his loyalties lie these days? Does he have loyalties anymore?

His lips parted to speak but suddenly his head lifted and with a smile he said, "Hello there Malice, I am well."

That was close, already De'Ville's presence was suffocated, wrapped in shadow, hidden away form Gav and his present company. Yes, she had grown strong. He smiled.

"Why of course, I'll be joining the others shortly--" He paused for a moment, then added, "--now I'm sure the last thing they need is good luck, my friend. But yes, I do plan on giving them both my best wishes."

Soon his old acquaintance would lose patience and would be on her way home, wherever that was and Gav didn't want to miss the opportunity to reaccquaint himself with her and her whereabouts. It had been quite a while. After a silent moment, he turned to Malice.

"My friend, I mean no offense but now is a time that I'd like to dedicate to my thoughts, alone. I will be joining you all soon enough but there is something I'd like to ponder on in my own company if you don't mind..." His tone was sincere and kindly while he addressed the man.

Malice Nodded to Gav.

*As you wish Master Gav. I shall leave you to your thughts then*

Turning around he began making his way over to everyone else. Though something kept tugging at the back of his head. While there Malice had smelled something different. His demon senses tended to kick in and he could smell a familiar person, though it wasn't Gav, but it was of a female. Malice decided to leave it alone for now, but he would keep his eye open around this area.

De'Ville kept hidden, watching quietly as Draclau turned away from Mortis. So many memories... It was here she had harnessed her powers, had really learned how to use them for her purposes.

It was here she had fallen for the classic trap of the Sith teachings, and tried to grab too much power. It had almost been her undoing. It had been the undoing of her daughter. She hadn't even known she was pregnant, too busy with externals to concentrate internally...but her banishment from the Order had not come without a price.

She whispered softly, using the Force to carry her words only to Mortis' ear. "I am not here to be disruptive. Not this time." Her voice hardened with what could only be classified as resolve. Not this time. Next time, perhaps, yes...

Uhlen walked in and found a seat, he didnt know many people at the sith palace yet and he came to the wedding because he wanted to meet some new people.

He wore the dark robes that designated him as Cloak's apprentice. he had to cut his sacrificing ceremony short to make it and he hoped Yun Harla was not angered.

Gav Mortis

Without moving whatsoever, Gav watched Malice walk off and remained silent until De'Ville felt comfortable enough to speak, he smiled when she said, "Not this time." He thought back to when she had been banished from the order here, she had been caught by the same vice that once held him. It was common place for Dark-Siders to become slaves to their own emotions, but the strong ones would manage to rip themselves free somewhat. De'Ville was one of those.

"I do not doubt it, M'Lady." He said gently in return, he didn't turn around to look at her yet, although he was curious as to how she had changed.

"Now why don't you step out of that darkness and come and wash that toe of yours in the water here. It will do you no good to leave it as it is."

He smirked at what he had said, his words almost had a double meaning to them, unintentionally too but nevertheless he thought it would be better for her to clean that wound and on top of that, he was curious to talk with her for they had much catching up to do.

Lilaena De'Ville
Jun 24th, 2002, 12:24:58 PM
De'Ville stepped cautiously out of the shadows, and towards the Sith Master. Behind him she could see muted lights from the tented ceremony area, and muffled conversations. Had she concentrated, she would have been able to pick out one voice and amplify it so as to be able to follow the conversation, but she dismissed the thought.

It was imperative that the Force users there did not sense her. Or, if they did, they must not recognize her. Lilaena sat down at the waters edge and put her foot in the cold water, eyeing Mortis as she did so. Her hair was very short, growing out of being shaved, and her face was thinner, a little more worn.

The Dark side had its toll on her, already she was feeling the affects of the drain it had on her body. She raised her eyebrow a little, and considered that no one here knew of the baby she had had. What was it...ten months ago now? So much time. And his twin, her daughter she had lost because of the imbeciles here at the Order. A spike of anger surfaced, but she squashed it down.

The ceremony must be starting soon. She looked up at the distant tent, and her eyes hardened. "Marriage is a waste of time."

Gav Mortis
Jun 24th, 2002, 12:48:39 PM
She certainly looked different, her shaved head made her look fierce and Gav was assuming that it was as a result of some accident of some sort, he doubted the young woman would decide to rid herself of those elegant locks on a whim. He smiled as he heard what she had to say and joked, "Darn! Just when I was about to get down on one knee!"

He was going to shoot her a friendly wink, but she had changed and he wanted to probe her character before making any dangerous assumptions, after all, a person can change greatly over a year and it had been well over a year since he'd last seen his old acquaintance. She looked drained somewhat, paler than when he'd last seen her so from that he'd gathered that she had been dabbling in the Dark Side a great deal. He knew this for it was clear she wasn't unhealthy, her exercisions on the wall proved that.

"Now it's been over a year since we last spoke and no doubt you are less than fond of this place," He began, turning a dry twig in his fingers but stopped long enough to look on her, "But be assured, I mean you no harm and I have no doubt you can defend yourself anyway. So tell me, how have you been and what in the world have you been keeping yourself busy with?" He smirked, adding, "And I'll make sure this stays--" In mid sentance, he closed his mouth and pulled his hand across it as though he were zipping it shut, "--with you-know-who!"

She turned away from the tent and smiled faintly at Mortis. "I have been here and there..." The Sith had always had a knack for making her feel comfortable, which was an odd feeling.

For a moment the guards went down, and she quickly looked away, back to the water. De'Ville wriggled her bare toes, and shrugged. "I have a new apprentice. He shows great talent, even claims to have been trained by Banestone, before killing his former master." She looked up again, "I have not been able to determine the truth in him, but he has possession of The Shell."

De'Ville purposely avoided mentioning her new affiliations, or her personal life. For all of Mortis' promises, she was wary. "What about you? How have you been?"

LD had Cloak's thoughts exactly. He was tired of sitting and waiting. As he clutched the decorative box that sat in his lap he watched. He watched everyone around him using the force to easedrop on their conversations. He saw it as a way to learn them, the true them that they could mask in day to day, face to face confrontations. He spent alot of time observing recently, and was ever mindfull of his surroundings.

Jun 24th, 2002, 01:26:54 PM
Amused at De'Ville's answer of "Here and there," Gav wisely stifled a chuckle; he wasn't suprised to receive such an answer. But quickly his mood changed upon hearing the news concerning Banestone. His brow furrowed and leaning forward a little, he rubbed his chin in thought.

"Banestone!" He repeated gravely with a shake of his head, "I only hope what your apprentice tells you holds no truth - I was rather fond of him - it would be a shame."

This confirmed that De'Ville was still dabbling in the Dark Arts and judging by the fact that she was still training meant that she must have found some sort of organisation that helps people develop such skills. She had definately now gone to the Sith Empire, for both Lady Vader and Live Wire would have knowledge of it and no doubt, acted upon it. No doubt this group likes to lay low too, no sign of any other groups out there so far; whatever it was, De'Ville had been very smart in doing what she has done.

"Me? I am doing very well, thanks." He replied cheerfully, life was much less stressful for him these days, he didn't feel uptight or tense or bitter anymore. Aside form one blemmish on his life, he was content. "I am part of this order and at the same time, not. My heart is no longer concerned with all this "Anti-Jedi" nonsense, I think most of the Dark-Siders these days are just as deluded as the Light-Siders. I just do what I wish now, I have few cares left in life and those I do have, I take seriously."

He was quite happy to be open with her for he had nothing to hide from her, well nothing that she needed to know about. He took a look at her foot and asked, "How is that feeling now? Still sore?"

Then looking over to the marquee in the distance, he smiled and asked, "Looking forward to this 'Dark Unity'?"

She took her foot out of the water, "Still sore." Like I am with TSO. De'Ville glared at the festivities, "I suppose I am looking forward to it..this farce they call a union."

She looked at him, and then took off her glove to reveal a plain gold ring on her left hand. "Like I said, marriage is a waste of time." De'Ville pulled the ring off and placed it in her pocket, a decision suddenly made. "It amuses the people here, so be it. But they fool only themselves."

Gav Mortis
Jun 24th, 2002, 01:53:58 PM
Gav had to chuckle, her resentment of this place still as strong as it was when she had first left, if not stronger. He didn't blame her though, after what she had been put through. Then finally Gav nodded in agreement, "Yes, I agree. It is ridiculous; why would anyone call their wedding a Dark Union - hardly sounds like something to celebrate does it?" He asked her with a grin.

Then the mood of the conversation became much more serious, the ring had caught his eye the moment she'd removed her glove. he watched remove the ring and after listening to his words and judging by her temperament, he decided to choose his words wisely.

"You too, eh?" He asked the question with a sigh, then explain, "Well I didn't get married but I can understand most of what you're bound to be feeling right now."

His heart sank as he failed to fend off his inner turmoil, he had to ignore his anger and sadness as often as he could, it would do him no good. He saw the look on his face, shook his head with sympathy and asked, "De'Ville, what did you do?"

Lilaena De'Ville
Jun 24th, 2002, 07:59:53 PM
De'Ville looked over once more, baleful eyes looking up at him. "It was a wedding of convienence. We had passion, lust even, but you cannot build a relationship on that. I was only thinking about the baby."

She closed her lips tightly. Didn't mean to say that. "I have not seen him in almost a year. Heard that he joined the New Republic." Lilaena turned towards Mortis. "I feel nothing. Only the weak give into feelings. Like them. All slaves to their appetites." She motioned towards the far end of the garden.

The time has come.

Gav Mortis

"What has she been exposed to? That poor woman!" He thought, she was almost a completely different person to the De'Ville he had once known. He frowned at the malice in her eyes: Has she been completely consumed?

"You're right. Only the weak give into their emotions--" He paused and thought about what he was about to say, then leaning a little closer said, "But only the strong can overcome them. Are you strong enough, M'Lady?" His voice became a mere whisper as he asked, attempting to sooth her turmoil as best he could, he answered, "I think you are!"

He then sat up and took a casual attitude, trying to help her round to the way he tried to perceive things. "So you met a man, had a bit of a thing and yes, you were blinded by your lust - let me guess - a desire to be wanted, needed, to have support when you needed it, something to fall back on, someone to help you look after your son--" Her Freudian Slip had made it quite easy to determine that it was a boy from her feelings, he then came a bit closer again and spoke with a calm, relaxed tone, "--or was the relationship quite so selfish?"

Gav shook his head a little, then looked back into the pool behind him reflecting the night sky, shimmering in the moonlight.

"I've been there before, I know all about desire and denial...and loss--" He trailed off, beginning to make himself feel miserable once more, then pondering on his own words realised something - he had been blinded by his arrogance to dish out advice - he was being a hypocrite. "--in fact, I'm there right now. Thanks to that--"

He cut himself off, his eyes became firey with contempt and his mouth frowned with disgust as he became silent.

De'Ville dabbled her foot in the water again, and then pulled it out and turned her body around, sitting crosslegged at the edge of the pond, facing Mortis. "That..." she picked up on his dangling thought, and stretched it out. "That woman. My former master. I can read it in your sense. Something happened."

She held up her hand to stop him from responding. "I do not need to know." De'Ville turned back to look at the lighted tent, and her eyes hardened again. "I would love nothing more than to walk in there and -" She closed her eyes tightly and the moonlight glistened on a tear that squeezed out of the corner of her eye.

It dripped down her cheek and lingered on the edge of her jawline, and then trickled down her neck. "She will pay for what she did to me. They will all pay." De'Ville looked up at Mortis. "But not today. I think they are getting ready to start."

Gav Mortis
Jun 26th, 2002, 06:40:46 AM
"She would not harm her," He thought, "She can have anyone, but not her." Gav thought to himself, deciding not to bring this to light with De'Ville. She liked to keep herself closed up and keep everything either shut out or locked in. It was liked she was pretending to have control of what she felt but that control was an illusion and one day it would break. Hopefully not at a moment crucial to her own well-being.

He stood now, she was right, the festivities were stirring into life. Gav looked to De'Ville and with a gesture of his head in the direction of the large marquee said, "Come on, let's take a closer look..." He smiled, adding, "Who knows? We might just have fun."

Lilaena De'Ville

De'Ville stood to her feet. "Fun?" She shook her head lightly, "If I am seen it will not be pleasant." Her eyes sparkled a bit, like they used to when she had first begun training here at the Order.

How many years ago it seemed. She reached up to brush her hair back from her eyes - and touched the stubble on her scalp. Lilaena jerked slightly, and blinked. "I will go closer, but only to observe."

Gav Mortis
Jun 29th, 2002, 10:21:00 AM
There was a brief grin as Gav gestured to the woman's scalp, "Y'know, you really should consider more carefully those with whom you choose to socialise. How did that happen?"

Now they'd began making their way around the edges of the picturesque gardens, cautiously walking along the quaint, stone paths making sure to keep their distance enough not to get noticed but deliberately nearing.

"This should do nicely!" He whispered, then without warning jumped placing one foot onto a branch of one of the larger trees in the gardens, he pushed off and then landed the other foot onto a branch further up and with one last push in the other direction he was up into the thick tree canopy, not one rustle had been heard as he'd made his way up to the branch on which he now sat.

Narrowing his eyes, Gav stared through the thick greenery and was at a height above that of the actual tent but was positioned so that he could see halfway into it. From here they'd be able to see the whole ceremony transpire. He turned, found De'Ville and then gestured for her to join him.

*The large, red reptile had sat motionless, save for one eye that had swiveled to look upon the two beings near his pond's edge. Never once did he let up on his vigilance, yet he made no move as he sensed no malintent from either being.*

*Instead he had snuffed out a tiny wisp of smoke through his nostrils, still watching, when the beginning of the ceramony made the two beings move closer. This prompted his massive head to swivel, both eyes looking upon both beings, before swiveling slowly back to it's previous position. this allowed him to have one eye on the proceedings, and one on the two beings off to the side.*

Lady Vader

*LV watched as Vader made his way to stand at the end of the grassy path between the short rows of wooden chairs. It was time.*

*She hugged LW, before the other woman made her way out to stand at the end of the path and to the side that led to the black marble gazeebo. Then it was LV's turn to walk the grassy path. She held no bouquet, opting to hide her folded hands under her hoodless cloak. She walked slowly, but with purpose, looking at no one save the obsidian mask with lidless eyes.*

*While LW was the Master of Ceramonies, there was no parsen of any kind. The couple would be saying their own words to each other.*

*Reaching the end, she pulled back her cloak at the shoulders to reveal her straight leather gown. How long had it been since she'd worn a dress? She couldn't even remember. Her face, much like that of Vader's, was covered in a leather mask to match the dress, the same style as her usual one. It seemed both had something to hide from others, but not themselves.*

*She held out her fingerless-gloved hand, and Vader took it in his strong grip, the leather of his gauntlet making a slight crackling sound as it settled from his movement. She still looked at his face, or where his face would be had it not been hidden beneath the black helmet he wore. She blocked everything else from her mind; the guests, the immense dragon just behind Vader, her loyal panther behind her, LW, the garden, everything. It was just Vader and herself. No one else mattered at this moment. Soon she would say what she had been preparing to say for so long, and he would be hers. All hers. Yes, she was selfish and jealous, and she wanted the power that he had. And if this was the closest way of getting it, so be it.*

*She waited silently, as his words were to come before hers.*

(NOTE: Even though LW is away in Japan right now, we will continue with this RP as I would like it finished (I can't stand RPs that go on forever). She will be about and post when she can. In the meantime, I will make posts for her in my own posts (she knows about this as we do this quite often). Just an FYI for everyone participating in this RP.)

De'Ville pulled her thin body into the tree and settled quietly on a branch, her feet pulled up next to her body. She rested her head on her knees and watched the bride walking down the aisle.

It hurt to think about the people in the tent. So she simply watched, observing all.

Garrett Blade

Far away, beyond the Outer Rim. Past the Unknown Regions and too far away to be observed by anybody in Ssi Ruvvi territory. On another astral plane, a man sat. He was sitting on a throne of flesh, limbs reaching out in agony. A large, organic, monstrously living computer screen filled his view some ten or twelve feet in front of him. It was incredibly dark, but Death could see everything. A quaint little picturesque...picture. The tent. The fountain. The hedgerows. The pond. The high durascrete walls surrounding the lovely palace. All for nothing. Garrett stood. He was already dressed - makes a change! He summoned his staff to his hand and walked forwards, pointng it at the computer interface known as Wormboy. The stagnant, putrid air inside the throneroom began to pick up. The smell of death and rotting flesh flew throgh the tunnels and catacombs of Kinderfeld, coming to swirl in a vortex of furiosity around the screen. The winds were so strong that even Wormboy was worried. But in an instant, it was gone. As was Garrett...

Corellia

People had gathered to the ceremony area. All but a few guests were seated, or standing, or whatever they wished. It was quite dark around the permeter of the tent - so no doubt there were countless millions gathered around in the shadows like always! If only there was a lightswitch handy. The pond boiled with vengeance as the figure emerged. The man in the dark blue trenchcoat shot out of the water and ascended rapidly into the skies without a trace. Practically untracable through the Force, since Life is required to be senseable, as well as sensible in His case, he did not descend. Well - not yet anyway. Where was he? He talked to himself insanely.

"Well, well, well. I AM a God afterall! 'The Man Upstairs' Indeed!"

*So, Is she what you call your mind Master Gav*

As Gav and De'Ville Turned around, they notice a rather large blue creature flapping it's wings to keep it's self up in the air behind them. Grinning, Malice flew in and landed right next to De'Ville, perched on the branch like a gargoyle statue. He looked at what was going on nder the tent, then looked at De'Ville.

*I knew there was another near Gav. My demon senses told me. I could practically smell you De'Ville, not a bad smell either*

He chuckled to himself, which sounded more like low grunts. He then looked straight ahead but continued to talk.

*So long have you been gone, yet you still return. I to am no longer with the order, deciding to sever my ties with them and start a new at the Empire. Though if i remember correctly i did not leave on such bad terms as you have*

He then sort of side eyed her.

*So, i see life has ben rather unusual for you. I always thought women took great care with their hair and personal self*

He couldn't help but laugh at his little joke. In all truth he had nothing against De'Ville like the rest of this order had. He had always thought of himself as a friend to her if she ever needed one. Malice was not a full blown sith that would not have any friends or trust anyone. He trusted those who deserved it, and to him De'Vile had earned his trust.

Lilaena dropped silently to the ground without even thinking, poised to make her escape over the wall. But something stopped her. "Bad terms or good terms, it makes no difference. Only in how they greet you when you meet again.

"If I recall, you were there the day Lady Vader almost killed me. I owe you for your assistance that day. My memory is blurry, but you did help dig me out of that rubble." De'Ville held her hand to her heart. "If one day you need my assistance, I owe you one. But only one." The tent, still visible from the ground, but not as well as in the tree, hushed suddenly, as the soon to be wed couple held hands before...before her.

Eyes hardening, De'Ville hoisted herself back into the tree, grabbing Mortis' arm for leverage. She settled down again to watch.
