Navaria had made sure that her already pristine quarters were in perfect order. Considering that her new Padawan was unique in certain ways, she thought that their discussion would be more proper in her quarters.

One, it would show trust and two, this would help keep things between them. You never know when someone would be walking by the lecture halls or in the other class rooms. Being outside was certainly out so this was the best option.

As the Knight was making tea, she wondered if this would scare him a little. When she sent word for Alec to meet her here, Navaria really didn't think about his reaction....

Well, one must learn to face their fears and Alec's certainly had his..

Striding down the hall, Alec tried to keep his thoughts as limited as possible, and his mind free from the troubles of the galaxy. He had recieved the message from his master while unpacking in his new room. She had requested a private meeting behind locked doors in her own quarters. While he understood that every master had their own training techniques, he wondered if it was possible that she respected his secrecy.

Alec noticed the room numbers were starting to get closer to Navaria's, so he kept an eye on them until he came to hers. Several loud knocks opened the door to reveal her welcoming face.

"Alec ..."

She began with a smile.

"... I'm glad to see you found your way."

Stepping aside, Navaria gestured for her Padawan to enter with a welcoming hand.

"Please come inside."

Alec smiled and nodded, stepping inside the quarters.

"I'm glad I found my way too, this temple is more elaborate than a star cruiser's hallways," he said with a quick laugh, trying to break the tension between the master and padawan.

"Well, it depends on what ship you are on."

Navaria closed the door behind Alec and made her way to turn off the stove. Opening a cabinet, she pulled out two coffee mugs.

"I had the pleasure of having my father escort me through the Executor before it left under Vader's orders."

A far away look washed over Navaria as she poured the tea.

"It was magnificent."

She said barely above a whisper and came back to the here and now. Lacing her fingers around the mug handles, the Jedi offered one to Alec.

"I always loved to fly and being a child on such a ship made that feeling grow you could say."
