In the process of buying a car, and i've got a few in mind, but there are some that i really don't know too much about how reliable they are, and reputations and that sort of thing. SO, does anyone know of any websites that might have stuff like that? Google hasn't been very kind to me thus far......

Made in USA - avoid. Honesty, you USA residents get raw deals wehen it comes to cars at times.

Made in Mexico - avoid

Made in Europe - should be quite good. If I remember right, the cougar is Ford Europe that is okay, nothing too flash

Made in Japan or Jap owned - cant really go wrong.

Made in Australia - if its got the name Commodore, it's sweeeeeet

Basically, sourced from Europe or built by the Japs, you will get something fairly good.

that's pretty much how i feel about them too DT...

Just wasn't sure about the cougar and it's rep, or if ford actually made it, or if it was Cosworth or what. ( or if they had some deal like where Dodge makes most of the mistsubishi stuff over here)

domestic stuff over here for the most part is just crap though
