All Masterless Padawans: Basic Force Training

Anduril comes back up the turbolift and runs to the door of the training room. He stops, adjusts his clothing slightly and walks into the room.

"I am sorry for the delay friends, I just wished to retrieve my sabres."

Turning to Xazor, Anduril says:

"Thanks for letting me go Xazor, the last thing I want to do is interrupt your class. I also thank you for your advice you gave me as I left it has given me a lot to think about."

He looked at Sejah and then to Maximus. Then, walking over to Sejah he whispers in his ear:

"I am truely sorry for what happened in the sparring area. I was over enthusiastic after getting my two new sabres. I really did think that you were finished, I would not have distracted you otherwise. Could we be friends again? It would please me if we could train as partners. But, unfortunately, we are already with others. However, I am sure that we can put this behiend us, for I dont want it to hamper our friendship."

Walking to Kakita he puts on his helmet again and retracts Ithil in his left hand and Anor in his right. Smiling slightly as the "dark light" rippled up and down his sabre he turned to Xazor and Navaria

"What do we do now? I am ready (at last)...

[Kack Mebuff]

Kack sat patiently waiting for further instructions.

For Kack this new exercise was not going to be difficult since he was already blind and had to use the Force to function anyway. So this would be no different than a normal sparring lesson for him, which he needed work on anyway.

Kack figured though if he had to fight Sejah it would even out since Sejah was so talented with a lightsaber and Kack would be able to "see." Could turn out to be an interesting day.

[Owen Veer]

Owen Veer had always wanted to hold a light saber. Now was his chance. One thing scared him though, his ability to light with a helmet over his eyes. He had had great difficulty levitating himself or a stone, so this would be a challenge. Clearing his mind, Owen prepaired for the drill.

[Tomak Ohara]

Tomak stood in the corner. He had been thinking about Dios the whole time, and did not here what the jedi had said. "I am sorry master, but what were the instructions. I also noticed everyone is partnered. I have no partner." Tomak thought to himself, now I can learn to defend myself from Dios. These jedi are so kind and gentle. I will learn more than I thought from them.

[Tomak Ohara]

Tomak came up to Master Dawnstrider, "Excuse me Master, but you told me you had a gift for me. I am here to receive it and to learn more." Tomak was sorry to ask her in the middle of class, but it was the only way to find her.

Anduril, after mediating for a while looked to the Masters for further guidance.

OOC~ I wasnt sure. I asked Xazor if she wanted to finish this thread but never got a straight answer and most of you padawn peeps got masters so ... I guess the point was moot O_o

For the better part of the next two hours, with breaks in between of course, Padawans learned how to parry blaster beams from remotes while wearing blaster helmets. Depending on the initial level of the student, Navaria adjusted not only the stun level but how fast the blasts would fire.

This was more of assessing the Padawans level more then just parrying exercises while using the Force as a guide.

The next part of the lesson was having Xazor help to line up each Padawan so there was enough room between them all. Granted these force sabres were not harmful but one would get sick of being smacked by it constantly.

Navaria may not look much the fighter, or the Padawans having heard much of her exploits in the realm of combat, but she was superb with the sabre. Locks, thrusts, and stances finished out the first hour. The Knights tried to reinforce that these abilities should be learned without relying on the Force first. What if a Jedi was in a situation where the Force would fail them? Instincts, a quick mind and their skills would be the only abilities to save them.

After breaking for lunch ... Navaria and Xazor demonstrated a lightsabre spar. Nothing fancy, just sabre skills using all the tools that they had shown the Padawans before.

Next it was their turn ... broken up into pairs ... the squared off against each other until the end of the second hour. And it was for a complete hour. This helped in matters of endurance and prowess. A Jedi was to be fit in mind as well as in body,

It was a successful and yet tiring day but it was that kind of tired that made you feel so energetic. Quite an irony but Navaria was happy.

A few Padawans volunteered to help clean up and escort the Knights back to the temple were Navaria treated them to dinner on Arcan. It was a simple gesture of appreciation to a job well done today and for being so helpful in thinking of others.

Owen Veer sat there quietly pondering the day's events. Something had happened during the class, something that he had not expected. He had never even held a lightsabre before, but in the class he had used it like he had owned it for years.

But what would happen now? With the class over, who would take him as a Padawan? Owen knew that is was useless to worry, but it had been such a hard journey.

Owen continued to sit there, trying to clear his mind and let the force take over.
