One nice thing about these boards is the fact that if we become unhappy with the host, we can pack up and move quite easily. Something you can't do if ezboard gives it to you from behind and goes belly up.

Oh yah, they only start with one server, to clamp down on the quality control and balance issues. They're aiming big though, which makes your point, well, pointless. Which Is why I made a comparison to two similar, available products with extremely large user bases.

no, you see "no large usage" is to take into account it is in use by BETA testers and the makers. they can develop out of the public eye. Ezboard has to do it step by step. Which makes my point say exactly what it says on the tin.

Reading between the lines and the fact that CSC's are still aloowed the so called security holes, it's another removal of features unless you pay up. I love the BS spin they put on it. What a total lie they sprout. If they were honest about it, I would have some sort of respect.

Free accounts will not be allowed to hide recent postings.Actually, this is reducing security, IMO. I know of at least one ezboard where the members are trying to keep it hidden from the public view. One way they do this is by requiring everyone who posts there to keep their recent postings private. Since they can no longer do that, it looks like the board is going to become much more public.

Let's see... unless you pay for their CSC, you have no HTML in posts, little advanced customization and text only signatures... how peachy.
