Well aside from being able to camp out for AOTC for a limited time I was going through my parents old vinyl record collection and I found a gem of a record. Empire Jazz! The album in perfect condition. The cover art suberb a picture I'd forgotten I'd seen many many years ago.

here's a link to an ebay acution for a promo of the album.

apparently it was released around the time of empire strikes back. My parents just became uber cool. Well aside from my dad being the reason that I love star wars and the fact that my mom still has a sweatshirt from anh that says darth vader lives.

I just had to share this awesome find with you guys. I listened to the album.....very sweet! Its not a cd but definately a piece of star wars history. :D

My dad has a Soviet Union infantry belt buckle... wait, that has nothing to do with Star Wars... Hmmmm, still, it looks cool.

Soviet Infantry? Hmmm...does the belt buckle read "cannon fodder"?

well if our parents are cool for having stuff like this....Imagine how cool we'll be to the next generation with camping out stories and truly insane action figure collections.

WE ROCK!!

Your parents are way cool, LW. :)

Mine are not. Well, my mom is not. She absolutely refuses to watch Episodes I or VI. She's okay with the IV and V, except that she dislikes movies in general, and probably will never see II or III.

My dad, he's pretty cool. Nothing in particular, he just likes Star Wars enough to never make fun of my obsession with it, helped me with a SW costume once, and really likes all of the movies.

my mom made my cloak for episode two and she complained the whole time. Oh well it came out really nice and it was worth putting up with the bitching coming from the sewing room.

And my dad and me had a lightsaber fight in the theatre monday night to the cheers of the fans there.

My mom didnt like episode 1 or 2. Shes an OT loyalist wierdo who's not nearly into sw as the rest of us but she hasnt thrown me out of the house yet for slowly bringing in more toys when she told me not to. *hee hee*

Mom is just scared easily. She doesn't like the Emperor or Jabba the Hutt. What can I say?

hmmm....

Nothing I guess. *stumbles off to bed*

No life size stand up of Jango Fett or Anakin!?!? Too bad. I could have gotten both of those for twenty bucks on ebay last night. :( I didn't bid on them though. :mad

I have a standup of Maul. And he talks too! :lol But he doesn't say much. Now I just have to get the rest of them standups...

But the question still remains... Do I set extra places for them for dinner?

Mom hates Darth Maul almost as much as she hates Jabba the Hutt and Santa Claus.

The funny thing is, this SOUNDS like a joke - BUT IT'S NOT. :)

Santa scares me. A lot. He's a creepy old fat man who sneaks into peoples homes, exploits elf labor laws, and likes to have children sit on his lap.

At least the Tooth Fairy will always be my friend. As long as I have teeth, she comes and visits me every night, wiggling my teeth one by one playfully.

...Though... I do suspect she has a motive for this that I don't know about.

Live Wire
May 26th, 2002, 10:44:22 PM
she takes your teeth and uses them in her voodoo magic!

Kar'h'tzen Shaed
May 27th, 2002, 10:54:22 PM
The worst part is, she always pays in Canadian pennies when renting them for her bizarre voodoo rituals. And then makes up ridiculous stories about how the teeth get lost so she can't return them... pfft, sure, a DINOSAUR was magically TRANSPORTED INTO HER TAXI CAB and ate it. Whatever, little pixie witch. I'm on to you!

...Wait, what were we talking about?

Live Wire
May 27th, 2002, 11:55:25 PM
what are you on and why aren't you sharing?

Kar'h'tzen Shaed
May 28th, 2002, 01:47:08 AM
You haven't asked!

Besides, it the stuff the tooth fairy gives me so it doesn't hurt when she borrows my teeth - silly gas!

lemme guess your tooth fairy wears a long white coat and latex gloves

Loklorien s'Ilancy

I don't know about anyone else, but my Tooth Fairy looks like Edward Scissorhands.
