Darth Viscera sends his proudness of you, and this mission for you is a further test of your abilities as a future Fleet Commander, as well as a Sith Adept.

Captain Gormul Hyfe, you will be commanding a medium Taskforce with the following ships under your flag:

You are currently blockading an Imperial World that is in the process of uprising against Imperial Rule.
The World is called Ghorman.

Before your Assault Transports and Star Cruisers can launch their troops which will bring peace back to the world, and supplement the Imperial Garrison which is already in place, a Rebel Taskforce arrives at the edge of the system. Your sensors indicate that the following Rebel ships have arrived:

The previous ships have full Starfighter Complements, and begin launching their fighters to challenge your blockade.
Their main objective in this battle may be to deliver Rebel Troops to Ghorman, and secure the planet for themselves.
Since the Rebel ship Home One appears to have arrived, it is believed that the rebel Admiral Ackbar himself is leading the taskforce, as it is his flagship.

You are now in charge of the battle, Captain Gormul Hyfe. You may choose your flagship, and attempt to win the battle.

Captain Gormul Hyfe stands silently on the deck of the Imperial-Class Star Destroyer Mk.II - Subjugator, his eyes staring through the front viewport of the fleets flag ship, gazing out into the depths of subspace which is dotted with occasional twinkling stars. The rest of the fleet under Gormul Hyfes command remains in formation, a blockade formation surrounding the planet of Ghorman, in the Thuris Sector, Southern Quadrant. A fleet of Rebels has just exited hyperspace and is bearing down on the planet, and on Gormuls fleet, but he remains calm and collected. Ever since the Ghorman Massacre, there has been more and more trouble and resistance coming from the planet of Ghorman, and now it seems that the putrid Rebels may be here to aid them. Gormul will have none of it.

Gormul: "Commander, tell me, is that ship really what I think it is?

Commander: "Uh, yessir. MC-85 Mon Calamari Cruiser - Home One, sir."

Gormuls eyes fix on the large flagship that is surely commanded by non-other than Admiral Ackbar.

As Gormul knows the truth, he now begins to survey the rest of the Rebel fleet with interest. He sees Rebel fighters being deployed.

Gormul: "Scramble our own fighters immediately. Have them focus on those Corvettes that are coming our way."

Commander: "Yes sir. Right away, sir."

Gormul then notices the three transports traveling towards the planet, escorted by several X-wings.

Gormul: "And Commander? What is the cargo on those Rebel transports?"

Commander: "Um, I dunno, sir."

Gormul: "Send a squadron of fighters to do a passive sensor scan."

Commander: "Right away sir."

Gormul: "Now, match up our Dreadnaughts with their Nebulon-B's and prepare to engage those Mon Calamari Cruisers with our VSDs. We will be taking Home One

Commander: "Ofcourse, sir."

Gormul: "Today will be a day long remembered by the Empire, commander."

Commander: "Yessir."

And the battle commenses.

Battle rages. The two fleets struggle restelssly for control as the Rebels continue their drive towards the planet.

Commander: "Sir, report comes back that the three transports are:

Gallofree Yards Medium Transport Success
Gallofree Yards Medium Transport Paradigm
and Rebel Bulk Transport Lucrative,

each craft carrying a full load of Rebel Troops."

Gormul: "Just as I suspected. Have fighers engage the transports with ion cannons only. Any high-ranking officers will probably be onboard the more heavily protected freighter, Lucrative, so make that their top priority."

Commander: "Right away, sir."

Surveying the ongoing battle, Gormul ponders his next move with great care. He has most of his ships pitted against other ships of their size, and things are going fairly well.

Commander: "Sir, we've just taken out Corellian Corvette Shadow and Nebulon B Frigate Redemption

Gormul: "Good... Very good."

Gormul opens a comm channel.

Gormul: "This is Captain Gormul Hyfe to all Imperial ships. Adamant and Hammer open fire on Home One. Ackbar is our main target. Without his command the fleet will crumble. All Carrack Light Cruisers take Victorioius and Spear. Fighters, concentrate on eliminating enemy fighters and deactivating those transports. You will have hell to pay if you don't get those ships deactivated soon. All other ships use your best judgement."

Gormuls flagship, Imperial-Class Star Destroyer Mk.II Subjugator, then opens fire upon Ackbars flagship. All 20 forward Heavy Turbolaser Batteries and all 20 forward Heavy Turbolaser Cannons wreak their havok on Home One, this increadible fire power weakening the enemy crafts shields substantially, bringing them down to 30%. Home One returns fire immediately with the 10 Turbolaser batteries that have a clear line of fire. Subjugators shields drop to 5,420 SBD, hardly enough damage to concern Gormul at this point.

A wide smile spreads across Gormuls face as he sees both VSDs launch 60 concussion missiles each at Home One. Nearly all the missiles register hits on the crafts engines, the 107 missiles that impact dropping the ships shields completely and nearly finishing the Mon Calamari ships hull completely.

Gormul cackles evily and then speaks, not to anyone in particular, but just because it needs to be said.

Gormul: "You've just witnessed the true fire power of the Empire!"
