Pulse Mass Mines: Designed by the Hapans, this weapon is a mine which, upon detonation, creates an artificial gravity well to keep ships from entering hyperspace or drag them out of it. It has the advantages over Gravity Well Generators that it takes no time to charge. However, the mass mine cannot be turned off, and will keep the ship from entering HS as well.

HIMS: A Hyperwave Inertial Momentum Sustainer (HIMS) is a device which alows ships to retain lightspeed, even when passing through an Intreidictor field. The device is made of several hyperspace coils designed to blow out, one activating after the other. This action bounces the ship in and out of hyperspace, keeping the momentum of lightspeed. However, prolonged use of this device can cause stress on the ship, and it only works in passing through an interdictor field, ships cannot enter hyperspace while in an interdictor field.

Slip Drive: The Slip Drive is a small Hyperspace Gate built into the vessel. This allows the vessel to open an entrance into hyperspace anywhere by concentrating enough gravity into one small area to create a tear in space/time, and an enterance to Hyperspace. The vessel can also stay inside hyperspace as long as it needs to. The vessel can open another gate to exit hyperspace and return to realspace from anywhere in hyperspace. Unfortunately whiles the vessel is still in hyperspace it must keep a constant scan for shadow matter. Another major benefit of the Slip Drive is that while the vessel is in hyperspace, it is completely invisible to scanners of any type, even the crystal gravitational trap.

Singularity Engine: The Singularity Engine draws it's power from a Hyperspace Rift, a singularity. The Rift releases tremendous amounts of energy that can be used to power almost anything, especially Capital Ships. It's power supply is almost endless, as the Hyperspace Rift releases an infinite amount of energy like most decent space singularities do. We have already done some testing on the Engine, and need to precaution you on it's use. There is one downside to the Engine, though. Should it come close to very strong gravitational forces, the hyperspace rift inside the casing might collapse, cutting all power to the vessel. It is therefore advised that backup power sources are installed in case such events occur. There is a normal power backup onboard the Intrepid Phoenix, as well as the Singularity Engine, in the case of a Singularity Engine failure.

NET System: The NET Targetting System, is really a ship matrix, that ties in all of the ship's weapons systems and vital systems into one easy-to-direct and understand readout, on the screen of a medium-sized console. In theory, a ship can be controlled by one person at a NET Console, who recieves all readings, measurements, and makes all commands, and target acquiries. The NET System is composed of many matrices, which tie in individual systems, including matrices for weapons, acceleration, status, climate control and life support, Energy Core, and SlipDrive Hyperspace Travel. These matrices are then joined into the NET matrix, which interprets universally, results from these matrices, and translates them into a readable form for the Commander better than any other StarShip computer core. The NET system is made for smaller capital ships, and its delta-gamma trichip is not yet powerful enough to bundle the number of Turbolasers presented in a matrice of a Capital Ship's turbolasers.

Due to a much larger demand for high-technology capital ships, and an increased military budget because of the war, 100 Quintar Mk.Is will be produced and assigned to the front line fleets. Cost is irrelevant. Our need for warships far supercedes any monetary imbalance.
