Who is the Empire? What happend to the whole Black Hand thing with Shimi? Did the "A Small Gathering" thread just disapear? Is Shimi the Emperor? Not the Emperor? Is the GMA officially the Empire? Are we just the military faction? Is Viscera the Emperor?

Oh, I see. That makes since. So, the GMA is the Empire, and you rule the GMA, but you aren't the Emperor. Shimi is. But he is the ruler of the Black Hand. And that's not the Empire. Gotcha...

Yep, except for he's not the ruler of the black hand, just a member.

And he holds no real power here. He's just a de jure leader because Isard and I appointed him. He's outlasted his usefulness, if you ask me. I don't see him doing anything that needs doing in the empire.

Gotcha. So basically, Shimi is just a figurehead. The real power of the Empire lies in your hands, with the GMA.
