Grand Admiral Darthporeon, please see to it that a command staff is assigned to this base. We would like to begin scanning for any extragalactic life as soon as possible. They're out there, I have a gut feeling about it.

The only thing we noticed Sir were a few asteroids entering the systems from an unknown point of origin.

Asteroids, eh? What was their velocity?

Unable to be figured sir, they were only there for a brief 5 or so seconds. It seemed they jumped to hyperpsace. A list of possible exit and entrance vectors is being figured out now...

Oh. don't worry about it then. Asteroids jump to hyperspace all the time. They're probably just taking a walk.
