Darth Tormentius, awaiting Lord Dagger

[Darth Tormentius]

**DT shows up to the training grounds. Lord Dagger is not here yet, so he kneels and waits.**

[Lord Dagger]

:: Dagger enters and ignites his sabre ::
"Attack me"

[Darth Tormentius]

**Tormentius stands up, ignites his saber (on loan from Dyzn's lab until he gets his own) and advances on Dagger**

DT: As you wish, master.

**Tormentius feints an overhead swing, then drops into a crouch while spinning counterclockwise with the saber extended**

:: Dagger reads the moves in the Force, what seems like centuries to the Sith Lord, before DT makes them and is already moving to block the swing, DT's suprise is evident as Dagger seems to be infront of the blow before it ever starts moving. His suprise is still evident as Dagger's fist slams into his face and sends him flying backwards ::

**DT, furious at the pain in his face, does a reverse somersault to get up even as he hits the floor. He flies at LD, saber a blur of motion as he launches a series of moves without conscious planning, hoping to thereby avoid having his moves anticipated.**

[Lord Dagger]

:: Dagger's moves seem to take on a danse like quality as he parries the moves, but not with such pre-thought now, relying on his own, Force increased speed. The down side of DT's rash attacks becomes obvious when Dagger slips through his defensed and smashes his elbow into DT's face ::

[Darth Tormentius]

**DT, having learned from his previous mistakes, takes a moment to attune himself to the Dark Side, then launches a blistering barrage of strikes which seemingly have no pattern, but in reality are planned an instant before their execution.**

[Lord Dagger]

:: That instant of preparation is all the Dark Lord needs to predict the attack, but as DT watches Dagger's seeming danse like parries, he does notice that the Dark Lord is slower to respond on his offside. This information becomes suddenly irrelivent as Dagger 's sabre catchs DT's and knocks his aside, leaving an opening which Dagger's fist exploits ::

**DT recovers his fallen saber, then stands and once again takes a few moments to attune himself to the Dark Side. This time, he gives in completely to the Force, allowing it to guide his movements.**

[Lord Dagger]

:: Dagger smiles as his apprentise gets the idea and moves into a more defencive stance, waiting for the nextt attack ::

**DT continues his assault, a brutal series of lunges and slashes interspersed with feints and parries. Suddenly he slashes high while attempting to hook LD's ankle with his toes and trip him.**

[Lord Dagger]

:: Dagger leaps over the attack and kicks DT in the face, sprawling him backwards ::

[Darth Tormentius]

**DT gathers up all his strength for one final attempt, musters all his rage and hatred, and releases it all in a prolonged flurry of blindingly fast and unbelievably powerful slashes, feints, parries, and spins, guided by the Dark Side. Yet at the same time, he watches carefully for an opening, knowing his opponent's off-side is slightly slower.**

[Lord Dagger]

:: Dagger danses through the blows, blocking them all. Then he notices DT studying his off-side, Dagger smiles to himself, 'so the apprentise can see weaknesses, good'. Dagger smiles openly at DT and ignites a second sabre, in his off-hand, removing the lag on that side, and making the Dark Lord even more dangerous, if such a thing was possible ::

**DT responds quickly to this new challenge. Straining his fledgling Dark Side powers, he manages to slide a chair behind LD from a few meters away, using telekinesis, while pressing his attack forward. This takes place in less than 2 seconds.**

[Lord Dagger]

:: Dagger leaps up in the air and land on the very tip of the chair with one foot, the other comes under and kicks it, hard, at DT. Dagger then flips backwards to land on his feet ::

[Darth Tormentius]

**DT senses the attack a split instant before it happens, and moves quickly to avoid it. Holding his saber in one hand, he slices the chair in half vertically, then horizontally, whilst using his other hand to force-push the 4 quarters towards LD.**

[Lord Dagger]

:: Dagger stops the chair parts with an out streached hand and sends them flying backwards at DT, from 4 directions ::

[Darth Tormentius]

**DT, having anticipated Dagger's move, takes the moment when LD is sending the chair sections back to slide a second chair towards LD's legs while dropping to avoid the 4 chair sections.**

[Lord Dagger]

:: Dagger understands what DT is trying to do and pre-empts it. Dagger flips over the chair, grabing it with his hand as he goes and throws it, full strenth at DT when he lands ::

[Darth Tormentius]

**DT, having dropped to the ground to avoid the first chair after throwing the second one, does a forward handspring, kicking chair #2 into a high arc towards LD, then levitates the 4 sections of chair #1 towards LD in an erratic fashion, like a quartet of drunken hummingbirds. He then throws his lightsaber, using the Force to simultaneously hold down the activator button and guide it on a boomerang course to cut the second chair and then return to his hand.

OOC: Let me know if I seem to be using too powerful force abilities for this stage of training.

OOC/That level of power is ok, so long as you don't do it with anyother type of power, it is assumed that you are natuarlly good at teleknisis, like Dagger :) also, head over to the "all appentices" thread\IC
:: Dagger reaches out to the sabre and crushes the crystal, switching the sabre off permanently. This take up too much of Dagger's concentration though and he is unable to use the Force against the chair part, so moving like some sort of danser Dagger dodges or knocks back all the chair parts ::
