Based on the Beta Class ETR-3 Transport and the Delta Class Dx-9 Transport, the Assault Transport is heavily armed and can carry a large force of 60 troopers. The warhead launchers can carry a large arsenal of proton torpedoes making it an excellent craft for use against capital starships. The turbolaser batteries are also quite deadly, particularly against starfighters. They are accurate and fire fairly rapidly.
