Alpha stands on a platform, overlooking Tolaria's drydock, where the ship is being completely overhauled.

"Watch out for those things!" Alpha cries out as he watches two of his Fleet workers take off the main forward torpedo launcher with a hoverlift. They nod and take the torpedo launcher into a large storage room, where all of his supplies lie. Then the workers take out the torpedo racks, leaving a large empty space in the wings.

"Alright, put those extra power cells in the wings. Attach the power cells to the secondary engines, and the main lasers. How's the hanger removal coming?"

A group of Fleet techs nod and give him an a-ok sign. Alpha smiles and nods, looking at his gutted ship. The Tolaria had gotten heavily damaged from a battle with a group of heavily armed mercenaries. The ship was too slow, and got slammed because of it, so alpha is refurbishing the ship for more speed. He had put boosters around the rear primary engines, and boosted the primary engines themselves by four fold. He added a second set of engines, inside the twowings, and then put some engines at the bases of the wings. The Tolaria's speed had increased tenfold, while the weapons load was decreased by a third. He took the hanger bay out and installed more powerful primary engines, and he also ripped out the meditation sphere, stuffing it with power cells. Though the weapons were decreased, the shields were actually increased in power. Some of the extra power cells were rewired to go into the shield generators, making it possible for the ship to ram into a Corellian Gunship and rip it in half, yet still survive. This ship became a souped up hot rod ship, but still could hold its own against a SSD if nesseccary...

"WATCH THOSE ENGINES!" Alpha yells, jumping down onto the gutted ship's hull. "Put those vectored thrust components on right!" As the Jedi Padawan says this, he shows the crews the right way to put on the components.

With these pieces, the Tolaria's manuverability will be increased substantially. Once the other pieces are in place this will be a hole new ship...

Alpha then oversees the fitting of the main guns. Large particle-/plasma/poleron cannons would be focused on the armor and the energies would be fired from the space inbetween the wings, like a mini-superlaser--just only a fraction of the power. In addition to the other weapons, the Tolaria was just as deadly as before...

Hours later, the ship was completely different. Mirrored black armor protected the hull of the ship, and was specially designed as an energy focusing tool, boosting the shields, and helping make the main guns installed more powerful. The ship seemed to glow with a different feel than ever before, radiating power and grace--not to mention speed and strength. the ship was almost unrecognizable as the original Nova-class ship alpha had gotten a year ago...IT had evolved to fit the needs of the time...

EDIT- Your sig needs fixing Alpha

Alpha pops open the ramp, and walks into the ship, looking around. The main hallway going from one end of the ship to the other had a metallic feel, where the floor was a metal grating, the walls being a burnished metal, with a styilized Dragon or Phoenix on each door. Strips of black or green paint goes across the middle of the wall, indicating what type of area--heavy risk, median risk, low risk--is. Plasma lighting is evenly spaced, giving extremely good light. The hanger bay was significantly smaller, holding six fighters instead of a squadron and a half, but that was one of the only changes to it...

As soon as Alpha gets the "Overhaul Finished" Message, the young Jedi jumps into the pilot's seat, and takes off. The C&C personel see a Dragon, and a Phoenix emblazoned on the wings of the sleek ship, before it roars out of the dry-dock. Alpha exults in the sheer speed of the ship as he putas it through his paces...
