Not bad. But it's too grainy. You compressed it too much. Go to "www.jpg.com (http://www.jpg.com)", that link should be correct. Download the freeware program, that is if they still offer a freeware program since I got it. Just save your original file under a JPG, not compressed at all, then use this program to compress it. The quality will be much better.

I'm well aware how much its compressed, and Fireworks is much better than that freeware.

Its always a compromise between size and quality and I was focusing on keeping the speed up. Its merely 15 k for quite a large image, but I may just take that extra 5k and improve the quality immensely.

Sounds good. Whatever you feel is best. I didn't mean to say it looked bad, but there's always an emmense area for expansion in any graphical work. Tweaks and tune-ups are what make it fun.

Actually, forum specific banners would be possible if you

1. Leave the left side graphics in the custom header
2. Insert the right/mid side graphics in the forum introduction
3. Customise the graphics so that they A seamlessly integrate and B allows for switching to another image map or banner.

Think of the possibilities, different planets.. banners.. etc.

Of course, that would require much more time and effort. I doubt anyone has both the knowhow and the energy pulling that off... ;)

(I have the first, but not the latter for the moment. Have far to much to think about right now. Might look into it later)
