I was just wondering. I know lots of people are from all over the world. I'm from South Carolina. The land of ignorance and hicks......

I always wanted to go to Assui land myself. Looks nice.

To Vader returns: I don't know if the hicks are as bad there. I do have family in Alabamia (I have no idea where, but they are there.)

Speaking of which maybe y'all no the answer to this question. Are there any black RPer's here? I have always wondered that.

ALABAMA...not Alabamia

We're not a breakaway Balkan state dammit!

And once again...refrain from using the term "hick" <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/image/emoticons_classic/smile.gif ALT=":)">

Would be much obliged <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/image/emoticons_classic/smile.gif ALT=":)">

I live down south. Don't use the word hick. Just don't pal. Just because you speak with an accent doesn't mean you're unintelligent, and that's what that word implies. Don't use it. :)

I have a very stronge southern accent to (ask Seiken, we have talked on Aim.). I was sayin' Hick as a joke. a joke! We do have a couple here though. Ask Shade (he lives a few min. from me), he have some dumb people inour town. Our High School was made to hold 1,000 people. It now hold 1,700 people, and they are merging another school with ours. That will put is at 2,000 people. The idea cam up to build a bigger school. The cost would be only 52 dollars of tax money per year extra. The people voted no. They thry cut the school budhet for the third year in a row.

As for the hick, I say again I was jokin'. and sorry for the s/p on alabama. I can't spell for crap. I can do math, just not spell. I meant no harm in it.

Are there any black RPer's here?Me? Duh! First you start talking smack about the South, and now you want to go insulting black people! For shame!

I'm From Miami, Florida... That's as deep south as you can get - but at Morgan Evanar once said: "Whoever thinks that Miami is America is on crack." Because, ladies and gentlemen, this is the most awful place to live out of all the places in the United States I've visited. Save yourself the anguish and STAY AWAY from deep Florida AND Miami all together. There's nothing but a bunch of dried up old palm trees here!

I live in Miami as evinced by the comment above. Stay the hell out of Dade (Miami), Broward (Ft. Lauderdale) and Palm Beach (West Palm Beach) counties.

Orlando is bizzare. Anything that devoted to a theme park has some issues.

The rest of Florida is either Deep South or city (prefer the second option myself).

Tampa/Clearwater is pretty nice.

We do have the worst drivers in the nation, and some of the most overpopulated schools (the highschool I attended was built in the '50s and designed to hold about 1500 at most. It now has 3500 students.)

Really, if you are going to live in the USA, there are much better places to do it.

HA! I'm more south that the lot of you!

We'rw about to have our first 40 C degree day in Sydney today for the summer (it's been a damn cold one so far) and the humidity is nearing 90%.

Summer's finally here! About time!

Nothing like Christmas at 42C - that be about 110F

I love the South! I own almost nothin' but Dragonball Z and Confederate tee-shirts. We just have lots of dumb people in my town!

Jeseth is black? I never knew that. I like black people. My best friends are black (Irony at it's best. I am in the high school band as one of the top three drummers. The rest, all but two others, are black. They wear my Confederate tee-shirts. They claim I am a black boy in a white boy's body. They claim the tee-shirts are a clever ruse to fool the world.)

Wow, that makes you so open-minded.

I'm from Long Island, New York. The land of the highest taxes, most expensive stuff, luxury cars, and shopping malls. Great place, I think.

I live in Missouri. But the sad thing is Im not even in a town Im between two towns. The most mast up thing is theres more people between the town then live in them. One has about 310 people and the other one is less.

Hart, I was just tryin' to let Jeseth know I don't have a thing against black people. Tryin' to clear it up. I did not ask for a smart ass comment. You is the closed minded one? Me for sayin' I was sorry, or someone who doesn't care?

I am in the high school band as one of the top three drummers.Cool. I was the best in my school for the last two years. I played Tenors... hehe.

And btw, I'm not really black, I was just kidding about that. <img src=http://www.thegjo.com/forum/smileys/crazya.gif ALT=":b">

Actually I'm in Troutdale, Oregon for the time being. And its COLD here. (spoken as a true Californian) The natives hate Californians who complain that its cold. But it *is* cold!

Sorry Chaos. I wasn't calling you a smart-ass and I know you didn't mean any harm, but if you said what you wrote out loud, in public, like that in, say, New York City, it would sound VERY weird and unusual. I know you wouldn't say something offensive on purpose. Maybe it's because I'm not where you live, but hearing "Oh, I like black people. My friends are black. It's ironic.." etc, etc just would get you a lot of weird looks up here.

I don't have anything against the Band, I mean their the backbone of school pride. But does anyone here play on the Football or Basketball team? Just wondering. :)

Wait a minute, I just noticed.... DT, you have Christmas in the Summer! That's kind of freaky.

Well, our December 25 IS the same time as yours and Australia is in the Southern Hemisphere :)

So, it's summer :)

I cant imagine a winter Christmas. But I can imagine Christmas at 42C or hotter. Gotta experience for yourself a summer day when the heat is turned up in Australia.

Morgan Evanar

I'd rather not. I'm pretty tired of bright and sunny days. That crap annoys me. I like overcast with a high of 70 and 60% humidity.

I've spent half of my life playing football <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/image/emoticons_classic/smile.gif ALT=":)">

Oh and as for cold <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/image/emoticons_classic/smile.gif ALT=":)"> ...

I woke up yesterday at 4 in the morning with my dad, to drive 2 hours to my grandpa's house for some deer hunting. 30 degrees outside...which isn't too bad. Frost on everything, but cozy enough to hunt all day...

...until the wind GUSTS. Wind chill was at 2 degrees. Thats cold enough to cause your hands to stick to your gun. Mine almost did. I could only stay out in that for 3 hours. Despite my special thermal camoflage coveralls, I had minor frostbite on my hands, feet, ears, and face. And worst of all...no deer, bobcat, or coyote to be seen. Thought about blasting a squirrel, but I don't think I could hit it at 50 yards with a winchester rifle.
