Everything I need to know about life, I learned from Noah's Ark...

One: Don't miss the boat.
Two: Remember that we are all in the same boat.
Three: Plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark.
Four: Stay fit. When you're 600 years old, someone may ask you to do
something really big.
Five: Don't listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be
done.
Six: Build your future on high ground.
Seven: For safety's sake, travel in pairs.
Eight: Speed isn't always an advantage. The snails were on board with the
cheetahs.
Nine: When you're stressed, float a while.
Ten: Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by
professionals.
Eleven: No matter the storm, when you are with God, there's always a
rainbow waiting.

Isn't the Ark fictional, and thus probably a tad less seaworthy than Titanic? Titanic transported ~1,000 people most of the way from the Old world to the New. Real people. Ark-0. Titanic wins!

There are others that would argue counter to that. One thing you must realise is that most persuasive stories ALWAYS have a grain of truth.

Like King Arthur. Ahhh, legend, right? No, He lived.

Jesus was a myth cause he was in the Bible, yes? WRONG. Ask any serious historian if they doubt if he existed.

Was there a Great Flood? Actually, there is evidence of a huge flood 7000 years ago in the Black Sea area. There is more evidnece (historical) that there was somethign that happened in regards to a boat and animals.

In 1000 years time, there will be very little real evidence of Titanic. I'm surprised they even found out as much as they have

Can't we all just get along? Everything and everyone exsisted at some time or another.

Well, everything except for the non-existent.

Wow, I'm imagining if there were only two humans left on Earth and one was me and one was a really hot girl. That would, like, multiply my chances of getting laid everyday by, like, a million, right?

Maybe. The females can be fickle.

But she would feel obligated to multiply and continue the species. So if you think about it, we'd be heroes.

females can be fickle cause they know when a guy only wants to get laid or if he respects them. *wacks him*

LoL

I'm the only one who is aware of who I respect. Premature female conclusionism is the cause of WAY too many worldly woes.

I think the Ark was real. I kid you not. It explains lots of things.

Ark is real, the flood was true, just maybe in a way you didn't know about.

I belive at one time there was a sphere of water surrounding the earth. I kid you not. Scientist have proven that if the earth was untilted we could support a bubble of water.
Venus has a bubble of gas, and that gas is denser then water.

Now if you belive this, then everything else falls into place.

1.) Why people lived longer, the Water would deflect the harmful radiation of the sun. No wrinkles :)

2.) Why they have found Wooly Mammoths in the North Flash Frozen, same with people who where also flash frozen. If the bubble was up, it would redirect light across the entire world, keeping it at a steady 70-90 degree range. In the bible it speaks of Heaven's gates opening and water pouring out. The Bubble's collapse, and in the north, it would turn to ice and freeze really quick. Freezing the creatures.

There are other things, but I can think of them now. Also, it would require to belive another so called impossiblity. Like Dino's living during the time of man. I have bible evidence to support it. Check out the last Chapters of Job. Warning though, some bibles change the true text, Behemoth, and Leviathan to Elephant and Corcadile... which makes no sense at all if you think about it.

First, who is Toady, and why is this thought for him?

Secondly, Dyzm, I agree. It does explain a lot of things, as well as many many "flood" accounts found in almost all ancient civilizations. In Sumeria (the predecessors of the first Babylonians ..the Babylonian Empire was actually the second round of Babylonians to come around, and I believe that they were actually Persians..but my memory may be faulty on that count) the Sumerians have the first great epic tale, called The Gilgamesh Epic, in which Gilgamesh encounters many trials, etc...classic hero stuff.

I don't have a lot of time as I'm going over lunch to type this (eek!) but Gilgamesh meets a man who is called the one who survived the flood. It gives a very interesting account of this guy building a boat and bringing his family and etc into it, and surviving the flood. And this is repeated all over the world. I KID YOU NOT (seems to be the phrase of choice right now ) Anyway..off to work again!

I'm slightly above average... depending on the day

LIke normally On that clan server I average a 3 to 1 kill ratio, then my scores got shot to hell, literally, Me and another guy vs. 6, my scores plummeted, had almost no kills.
