Needed Info On Spice

I need to know some stuff about Spice. Not the normal stuff. I can't remember the name of the brand of Spice I'm looking for but I need hard facts on it. I know it gives the user small dosages of telepathic ability. I'm also aware it has side effects. Could someone spell the facts out for me. Especially the side effects, the telepathic ability, the origin and market size. It's important to my new character. Thanks.

I was thinking this might go in the roleplay forum(the new one). But I wasn't sure if this was a roleplay question or Star Wars trivia.

My character is a major drug smuggler/dealer, and here's what I've found out about spice.

Spice is a name given to a variety of drugs, in particular the glitterstim spice mined underground on the planet Kessel. Spice is a highly taxed and controlled substance, although legal to use in most parts of teh galaxy. It's a popular commodity for smugglers because of its high profit margin. Spice has a number of legitimate uses in psychological therapy, criminal investigation, communication with alien races, and artistic inspiration and entertainment. Mood-altering glitterstim has a sharp, pleasant odor and can produce feelings of euphoria in those who use it. Other spices include ryll, carsunum, and andris.

Glitterstim is a potent spice that is mined on the planet Kessel. It gives a brief but pleasurable telepathic boost and heightened mental state. Glitterstim spice is a valuable commodity that was tightly controlled by the Empire and worth its weight in credits to smugglers. Glitterstim is photoactive, so it must be mined in total darkness or else it will be ruined. It is also addictive for many species, and they usually employ "cutters" who prepare the spice for sale.

A few other drugs I've seen are yarrock, sweetblossom, pyrepenol, Santherian tenho-root, and deathsticks(not quite sure about this one, though).

Yes, excellent. Glitterstim. Now, do you know the specifics of the hightened mental state? For instance, reading minds, telekenisis, precognition, etc.
