Howdy.

Avolon has been a Lt. for a very long time. How do I go about getting a promotion, eh?

Made it real easy for whoever hands out the promotions. I prefer to roleplay my character's promotions, etc. I wouldn't want to simply say he was a Captain or something, I want to have documentation, for the history books you know?

I found this a little while ago and thought it would be good for the NR stuff. You've probably already seen it though:

Charley and I went over something other day. Ranks in the SW Universe are given out way too lightly. Low rank doesn't mean much. If you aren't in charge of a command post, your character isn't going to have much rank. Most of the Lone Wolves aren't very high ranking.

Well, I'm part of the Black Panthers and Chief of Security at Yoghurt's Grill.

If I remember correctly, the only known ranks and the people that have them are as follows :-

Major General - James Tohmahawk, the highest rank so far
Brigadiar General - Nathan West

General - Jyanis Scorpion, more of a NR rank as this in fact outranks Tohmahawk

Commander - Elieen Cross

Captain - Zara Drecker

Commander is more of an honorific, especially in Elieen's case, where it's more an acknowledgement that if you dont do what she says, she'll turn your arm into a suppository.

Most privates in the NRSF would be ranking officers elsewhere. So basically, General is the top of the heap leaders, Commanders / Captains are a step down and it filters down from there. So if you want a promotion to Captain, you had better do soemthing truly specactular and worthwhile.

Alright.... challenge accepted. Are we talking a worldwide task here.... what constitutes a promotion? Hints?

Well, I'm a Lt..... maybe I could become First Lt.? <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/image/emoticons_classic/laugh.gif ALT=":lol">
