Well, I thought this was pretty funny, so I thought I'd share it with you'ens. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/image/emoticons_classic/smile.gif ALT=":)">

As I was getting ready for my first class this morning, I got a call from a gal representing M.A.D.D. (mothers against drunk driving. I'm pretty sure everyone knows about these crusading ladies, but I thought I'd spell it out anyhow).

Now, I think I should explain the funny part: I'm taking classes to be a bartender.

And that's all. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/image/emoticons_classic/smile.gif ALT=":)">

lol, no, it's not an april fools joke, though I thought it was my mom pulling something for a while; she knows I'm taking the classes. But the lady went on and on and on and on..... you get the idea

"oh, but even if you're flat broke, we've got these wonderful cooking magazines, and if you don't like that kind of stuff, we have popular mechanics."

or

"But this plan is only 5 dollars more, and you get this and that and that and this; a much better deal than the basic set-up you have right now."

Of course they always call in the morning and wake me up, so it's pretty unintelligent on my end until I get pissed and start cussing them out. Then it's them that hang up.

But that isn't the worst of it; I got a call one morning from some company in Vegas. The next morning, another rep from the same company called again; at the same time. He asked me my hobbies for this survey that I'd suffered through the morning before, and so I told him I was into public streaking, amatuer neurosurgery, and calling up the national UFO hotline.

Needless to say, they don't call me anymore.

I just got woke up at 8:30am from one of these heathens >=(

The worse was when my community college called me after I graduated. My grandmother just died and I told him call me later to do the survey. I didn't mind because at least it was for school but no... the guy said, but it won't take that long =|

I hung up

You know what I do? I just say, "That sounds nice, but have you heard of Jesus, my personal Lord and Saviour?"

That get's em, plus I get to witness! :]
