Yeah, I know this topic seems to reappear every other month, but I thought it'd be cool to hear some of the newer people's songs. If no one likes this thread... too bad.

Okay, let me get this thingy started.

Avolon Bisel - Hotwax (Beck) or Lord Only Knows (Beck)

It's a tie. Too close to call.

These song capture the feel of Avolon more than anything else. It doesn't really have many references to his character, more of the attitude. I listen to these two constantly to get in the right mood to write.

Also, to add some fun to this thread, try and come up with a good theme song for every poster before you! Yay!

The song Bent by Matchbox twenty for Maia. Just seems to fit her lol

For Sage I would say Remy Zero - Save Me, since that's the only song I can think of when I see Tom Welling

I don't know what to use for Dasquian ssssoo..

Thanatos Van-Derveld: Gin Blossoms - Follow You Down

Any songs by Ben Folds Five work too, really (particularly Army and Barrytown). It's just the general feel to them, not really the lyrics. They have a nice little naive sound to them.

Vega Van-Derveld: Mission UK - Last Beat Of Your Heart

The lyrics fit him totally perfectly.

Dark Alpha: Violence Fetish (Disturbed)
Satine: Stand Alone (Godsmack)
Sidar Kondo: Not too sure.

It's old, it's classic, and I've almost always used it as X's theme song, but it still works.

The 1980's metal classic by Spectre General, Hunger.

Embodies all that Xanatos is in my opinion.

For me..........

"One Day I'll Fly Away" sung by Nichole Kidman from the Moulin Rouge soundtrack......

That is totally Xazor....listen to it or read the lyrics and you'll see why. It's cuz of all things gone badly in her life....

Like I have often stated (ok, mebbe never) it would be the Hallucinogen Remix of a song titled "Divine Moments of Truth" by Shpongle. Either that or Peter Gabriel's "Shaking the Tree."

For Hoshi....Um....
"Carrot & Stick" by Tsuneo Imahori

It's a Trigun song, so sue me.

And For G-Mag here it'd have to be "Virus of The Mind" by Heather Nova.

For Marcus and Eileen, it's definately both Call Me Call Me and Words That We Couldn't Say from the Cowboy Bebop Blue album.

Sanis - Shame of Life by the Butthole Surfers

Morgan - Tuesday Morning by The Pogues

s'Il - Save Yourself by Stabbing Westward

And for every Cizerack woman, I have to say Little Miss Can't be Wrong, by the Spin Doctors.

That's all I can think of for the moment.

GIR: [eyes light up red, stands up, saluting Zim.] GIR, reporting for duty!

ZIM: [confused] GIR? What does the "G" stand for?

GIR: [eyes turn blue] I don't know. [his tongue hangs out. Zim stares at him. Suddenly, GIR begins punching himself in the head, screaming stupidly.] Weeee-hee-hee-hoo! Weeee-hee-hee-hee-hoo! [the screaming and punching continue in the background, as Zim tries to think of a way to put his question.]

ZIM: Um.....is it supposed to be stupid?

TALLEST 2: It's not stupid...it's ADVANCED! [GIR has begun to bounce on his head, screaming still.]

Usually, I would just say Yoda's theme, but that is kind of unoriginal, so I need to think of something better. I actually have a theme song in my ezboard profile, but it would be nice to have a non SW related as well.

I was thinking "I Stand Alone" by Godsmack, but Alpha is using it, so I will use something else. And none of you understand my character, because he is completely in my head and you guys no nothing about him lol. I will have to say that "Everyone" by Adema is like my character. Kind of fed up with the world and stuff. I dont know lol.

English Translation
(Oh my darling, I love you
And the kid who just stands tonight) (Oh my darling, I love you
And the kid who just stands tonight)
Mystery--mashou wo utsusu purachina no tsuki akari
kasukani hohoemu kuchibiru azayakani someta
mitsumeteite sorasanaide
anata no sono shisende,
fuuin wa tokareru... Mystery--the platinum radiance of the moon reveals deviltry;
The faint smile playing on her lips glistens brilliantly.
Keep your eyes on me--don't take your eyes off me--
Your stare will relieve me,
Of the seal that binds me!
*Shy na Venus kamen sutete

Please be gentle in your cruelty...
I want to see your uncovered face,
I have a secret that's only for you!
I want to kiss you, surrender to your heart;
I am a beast that has nowhere to run,
Until the day that I pass away, trapped in the labyrinth of love!
Sadistic--jounetsu no muchi de odorasete ageru
maru de haritsumeraretai to ayatsuru youni
Tokimete koe de sakebu "I love you"
kono mune ni kizamikomu,
kienai akashi wo... Sadistic--I want to give you a passionate, shameless dance;
I want to be completely controlled, like a puppet on a string!
When I hear your fluttering voice cry out "I love you,"
My heart is filled with another of your wounds,
Don't ignore the proof!
**Zurui Venus kamen sutete

I want to hold you, surrender in my heart

Please be gentle in your cruelty...
Oh, show me, your uncovered face,
No one knows the time of the carnival!
I want to hold you, surrender in my heart;
I am a beast that's fully drowned in love,
Until the day that I pass away, dreaming of this feeling!
(Oh my darling, I love you
And the kid who just stands tonight
Oh my darling, I love you

I get no waffle.

Well, I think I have the perfect theme song for Sagey. The PERFECT. And I mean, PERFECT. Feel, lyrics, all of it. But I don't know the name. My brother brought over a CD and we listened to it together, but he took it home. So I didn't get the name of the song. Anywho, it's by a great band, "the White Stripes." The band consists of a dude and a girl, who are married. They are the only ones who play too, seriously, only drums (the woman) and guitar (man). But no, it's not a slow band that should be playing at bars for peanuts. They rock out. The dude gets incredible sound out of one guitar. It's awesome. Once I get the song name, I will command you to download it!

Here it is. The lyrics really match him, especially what he's going through now.

Offend In Every Way

I'm patient of this plan
as humble as I can
I'll wait another day
before I turn away
but know this much is true
no matter what I do
offend in every way
I don't know what to say

You tell me to relax
and listen to these facts
that everyone's my friend
and will be till the end
but know this much is true
no matter what I do
no matter what I say
offend in every way

I'm walking through the door
but they're expecting more
of an interesting man
and sometimes I think I can
but how much can I fake
I'll speak until I break
with every word I say
offend in every way

Isn't Kronk the idiot dude from "The Emporors New Groove"?

"He's doing his own theme music? I'm sooo glad I was unconscious during this..." -Kuzco's response to Kronk's theme music.

Well, for Sejah, I think I'd have to pick "Classical Gas"(can't remember the artist) or "3x5" by John Mayer.
