Just to let people know, I have a sister in labor right now with her second baby (in Michigan) and a sister HERE with me who is due tomorrow with her tenth, and getting very impatient.

If you could, keep them both in your prayers. They both are having home births, which means no hospital (who needs them anyway?). Thanks! I won't be on tonight because we're keeping the line free for THE CALL.

Okay, Congratulate me! I'm an aunt for the...*drumroll please!* THIRTEENTH TIME! My sister in Michigan had her baby at 1:06 Central time, October 2. Don't know the weight yet, midwife hadn't done that when we got called. So, one down, one to go.

Forgive me for giggling at your comment Hart. I already AM an aunt. ;) Several times.

An Auntie 13 times!! WOW.

I'm the second oldest of 57 cousins on my Dad's side of the family. The family get together is just insane at Christmas.

Maybe its becuase i come from a relativly small and unconnected family but...OMG! thats alot of neices and nephews. Congrats to your sisters though

OKay, just an update on my pregnant sister here in Oregon: She had the baby this morning at 7 o'clock. When I got off last night it was so she could call the midwives. I sort of knew that, but I went to bed anyway because I was tired.

I ended up sleeping through everything! They ended up having to take her to the hospital because there was too much bleeding, and the placenta was not delivering either. She is stablized now, and everything looks like its going to be okay.

The baby was HUGE! And when I say huge, I mean giant. A girl, Emma, 11 lbs 2 oz, 22 inches long. :) I'm an aunt 14 times over! Woohooo!

You'd be missing out then Taylor. I love my neices (7) and nephews (7) a lot. I mean, I couldn't choose and tell my sister which ones she shouldn't have had (she has 10 of the 14). They're all precious. And that comment isn't pointed directly at you. Its at all those people who are reading the child count and shaking their heads.

:D It doesn't matter what they think anyway. I think its great. I love being an auntie! (although Geoff who is 12 keeps asking me why I'm not married yet....."precious angel" that he is ;) ...must be the Leeloo-ness !!! :lol: )
