Maverick wanders into the B&G and sits down at the bar. "I'll have a vodka" she tells the bartender. She casually glances around at the other people as she sips her drink.

Jake notices Maverick sitting at the bar and walks over to her. "Mind if I sit down?" he asks.

ooc: Mav is my RL twin sister...we're not n the best of terms right now and I'm sure she's in her room at her computer thinking nasty thoughts about me! Aren't you Mav?

Maverick stares at Jake. "Actually I do." she answers.

ooc: wow Jake! how DID you guess?

[Jake Talen]

Jake raises an eyebrow. "Why not? Aren't you captivated by my charm?"

"What charm?" Maverick replies, taking a drink, "Why don't you go bother some other victom?"

ooc: Jake, at this moment in time i don't even want to be talking with you online...you and your character go away and we can all be happy! :P

Jake just KNOWS Maverick is playing hard to get. "Let me buy you another drink." he suggests giving her "the eyebrow".

ooc: no

Maverick stares at the boy who is making a complete fool of himself. "I can buy my own drink." she says flatly.

ooc: "the eyebrow"? real original Jake...go try THAT one at school.

[Jake Talen]

Jake IGNORES Maverick and orders her another drink as well as one for himself. "So where are you from?"

Maverick pours her drink onto Jakes pants and then gets up to leave. "Goodbye...thanks for the drink."

ooc: Leave me alone Jake...I'm still mad at you

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Jake yells as Maverick leaves. *damn...even the eyebrow didn't work*

Maverick stares at the obviously insane boy who is screaming as she leaves. "Maybe you should be on some kind of medicaton." she mutters.

ooc: of course you HAD to put your favorite TPM line in the post didn't you? Go outside into the snow and lie in a snowbank... and don't get up.

Jake grins...his plan is working! "Maybe you should have another drink with me...it would calm me down!"

ooc: Yep...oh come on Mav! It's the best line! You're telling me you don't like it when Ewan McGregor screams? Geez you're a girl....I though tyou liked accents...especially Scottish ones!! ;)

Maverick sits down as far away from Jake as possible and orders another drink.

ooc: You're a guy and you like it when Ewan McGregor screams? Is there something you're not telling me Jake?

[Jake Talen]

Jake scoots over till he's next to Maverick. "Why do you keep moving away from me? Are you afraid of your true feelings for me?"

ooc: I happen to like that line because it's hilarious! Why are you still mad at me? By the way...isn't your character a little young to be drinking? And while we're at it aren't you?

"No...I'm afraid that if you keep bothering me I'll hurt you" Maverick snapped.

ooc: WHY AM I STILL MAD AT YOU!!! Jesus Jake! and don't start...your character isn't exactly old enough either...and i don't see you getting rid of the stuff in your room! Why don't you go watch TPM and gaze at Ewan McGregor...you know you want to!

Jake grinned. "Look I'm sorry...I'll be good I promise!" He extended his hand. "friends?"

ooc: I only like that line because it's funny! ANd I wouldn't talk... one only has to walk into your room to see who you like! If you're not carefull I'm gonna come into your room and really make you wish you hadn't mad thosse Ewan McGregor cracks! <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/image/emoticons_classic/smile.gif ALT=":)">

Maverick reluctently shook Jakes hand. "Not friends, aquaintences...and ONLY aquaintences!" she downed the rest of her drink and ordered another one. "You going to have another?" she asked Jake pointing to his empty glass.

OOC: you come into my room and you die...I mean that literally. Besides, the door is locked. Just because our characters are becoming friends doesn't mean you and I are... don't get any ideas either.

Jake nodded ands ordered another one. "So are you training here?" he asked Maverick as she sipped her drink.

OOC: Ha! A mere locked door can't stop me! I'm the mighty Jakob McLachlan!

Maverick smiled. "Not yet...I was kind of scouting out the area...actually kind of sounds pretty stupid huh? hiding from the Jedi in a Jedi temple... anyways I was looking around and this guy found me so I'm just waiting now. How about you?" she took another sip.

ooc: The mighty Jakob McLachlan? Whay are you spelling your name with a "k"? It's Jacob McLachlan you idiot.

Jake smiled. "I'll have to try that. Hide from my Master in the temple...hmmm, interesting. Uh yea, I'm pretty sure Anakis Moreven is training me but I havn't seen him for a while."

ooc: I like it with a "k"...it's different. YOu spell your name with an "i", instead of just "a".... and I AM mighty, you just don't want to admit it!

Maverick laughed. "it WAS pretty stupid...but you can never be too careful..although what i would have done I don't know

ooc: I spell my name with an "i" because that's what's on my birth certificate! You change yours all the time... I don't know how to spell your name day to day because you always change it. P-Alert/d

Jake laughed too. "So where are you from? I fyou don't mind my asking..." he added quickly.

ooc: thanks forf the p-alert/d! I owe you one...please don't be mad any more...I'm really sorry! really really really unbelievably sorry!

Maverick shook her head. "I don't mind. I was left on Corellia when I was little and I grew uup on the streets, stowed way on a spice pilots ship when i was 13 and here I am! what about you?"

ooc: no prob... so you're really sorry? I'm still upset but I forgive you...as long as you don't come in my room!

"Uh well I lived on Hoth and then I ran away from home when I was seven and I've been cruisin' ever since. That's about it." Jake answered.

ooc: YES! I AM FORGIVEN! WHO DA MAN! JAKOB AND JAIDE ARE A TEAM ONCE MORE! HAPPY DANCE!

Maverick smiled. "Well we have one thing in common at least"


ooc: Jake I wasn't aware that we were ever a team... but obviously we are now... uh I think. Hey! Lets go hit the slopes! Last one to their board has to take the highest black diamond run... er, well since we'll go on that anyways the last one there has to go first!!

Jake smiled back. "Yea I guess we do... we both know how to live on our own."

ooc: of COURSE were a team! It's like an automatic contract that binds us together from birth to death! geez didn't oyu know that! You're on about the slopes... but the loser also has to buy lunch at the Ice Crystal!

Maverick got up to leave. "well I'll be seeing you...uh what IS your name?"

"well it's been fun Jake...surprisingly fun...I hope to see you around." Maverick got up and walked out of the B&G.

Jake watched as she left. He could tell they were definetly going to have some adventures at the Order together. *Yep never fails...the eyebrow ALWAYS works*

Maverick wandered back into the B&G... ahhh no Jake. Finally some peace and quiet. She sat at a table in a secluded corner and reveled in the Jakeless silence.

"MAVERICK! how you doin'" Jake yelled as he walked into the B&G. He gave her "the eyebrow" as he sat down. "Wow how long has it been since I last saw you?"

"one hour and 58 minutes. Lets try set a new record next time okay?" Maverick put her head in her hands and groaned. "Jake, don't you have studying to do or something?"

[Jake Talen]

"Nope! All my spare time is now dedicated to you Mav! Aren't you happy to see me? We were getting along great except for the part where you dropped your drink on me!" Jake exclaimed

"Wonderful! Im honored that I'm the one you've chosen to take on as a hobbie: bugging Maverick 101. And I didn't "drop" my drink on you...that was on purpose. Are you sure you don't have any studying? Why don't you go...sit... in your room or something?"

[Jake Talen]

Jake grinned. "Don't have any studying or a room so it looks like your the activity of the hour."

Maverick stared at him strangely. "You think of me as an activity? Don't go saying that around to many people...they might get the wrong impression. Why don't you go read or run or something? I'm sure it would be beneficial to both of us."

"I don't read and I can run later. Besides, why would I want ot do that when I can sit here and enjoy the pleasure of your company?" Jake grinned.

"I can think of some reasons." Maverick ordered a drink. She was definetly going to need one. or two.

Jake was puzzled. Why did Mav not want to talk with him after he'd given her "the eyebrow"?

ooc: geez took you long enough! What have you been doing all this time?

Maverick downed her drinksa soon as it came and ordered another. "That's better. So uh what exactly have you been doing till now?" she asked Jake

ooc: sorry mighty Jakob McLachlan! SOMEBODY screwed wiht my computer and messed up my cable. Now who could have done that?

"Uh well...hmm...what HAVE I been doing? Just sitting around I guess. ya thats it...i think." Jake quickly sipped his drink.

Maverick kind of stared at Jake. "how can you not know what you've been doing?"

"Actually it's very possible. One too many of these,"he pointed to his drink," and you lose all track of time and other stuff."
