You know what? The reasons why I decided to leave SWFans was I was frustrated and angry with the continued BS. What I found heartening was that there were people out there - some quite unexpected - who shared my private opinions about the real cause of the problems.

Well, we should have spoken up earlier. Then we may not have seen some of the really good Jedi leave.

So, you want to know why The Jedi wont roleplay against the Sith? Well to quote someone, the Jedi have the perception that the Sith are in the main dumbasses and Godmoders and the Jedi long ago got jack of that and sayed here instead. That is it in a nutshell. The Jedi seem to think that a fight wont be fair and it wont be filled with cheating and Godmoding.

Is that a valid opinion? Well, to me, it could be. Make up your own mind. It doesnt bother me as I do my own thing under my own terms.

What made me leave can be summed up in four letters.



You are a @#%$, you disgust me and you have pissed off more people that I can recite. You have been the cause of some of the best Jedi leaving, you and people like you and a reason why Jedi just dont want a thing to do with some of the undeniably good people in TSE. All I have to say is @#%$ YOU and @#%$ YOU to your fan club.

Go on, call your posse, come and attack me like you have in the past. Come on, take me on in my home patch, where I'm not going to hold back, where I'm free to answer back. I'm waiting.

I know there are more people out there that agree with me but wont speak up. I know there are poeple who wish I would come back. I appreciate the words said to me off line when I have logged into an open AIM name and I thank those people for those words. I would specifically singel out some people you may not expect, but I will not allow them to get back stabbed once again because they said something right and true.

Do not solely point the finger at the Sith for Godmoding, for I can think of more then one Jedi guilty of it as well. This is not to say that some Sith have not been guilty of it either, I just don't think it's fair to name us as the only culprits. I have participated in more then one quality fight, or what I feel was a quality fight with members from TSE, RSO, GJO, NJO, the first Jedi council, bounty hunters and the list goes on. There have been moders in all groups, and the opposite as well. I just think you should be prepared to acknowledge that simple fact instead of pointing the finger.

Before I even touch on this one and start a rant of miy own, I want to know to whom this is directed. For if it's at me, I feel it is not justified, and I would like some background on it. However, not here for once again, fear of causing a flame thread, but on AIM or in some other fashion. I have always respected your opinions DT, and your writings for as long as I can remember, and if you feel compelled to make such statements without preparing to back them up, then a great deal of that respect has been lost for you.


All in all, I enjoy RP'ing as a whole, with any group or person that can do it without Godmoding. It can make for a challenging and fun thread. I won't hide my feelings for moders, for I feel the same as you DT in that respect.. I only refrain from voicing my opinion quite as visually as you do.

I for one would like to conitnue to RP with the Jedi, and I for one also know of attempts made to create some RP with both TSE and GJO, however due to RL time constraints, nothing has emerged. Hopefully a RP will come together before too long.

Now that I've said what I've felt I had to say (for the most part, as i await for a response for the latter quote), I'm going to drop this, at least in here. Any further comments in here will not jusify a response from me. If you do wish to conitnue with this, do so either by

a) I did say it's a perception the Sith are the main Godmoders. It may or may not be true and there of course are God moders on both sides.

I just saying its a perception. And if you want fights again, it's a perception that needs to be changed, wheter it's justifyed or not. Both groups I think will need to work together on this to change the perception. It's how the Jedi see the Sith as a general sweep. One thing tho is that if there is a GodModing complaint against the Jedi, if bought to our attention, we have smacked down the offender privatly.

There is no denying these are some really good players in the Sith and I could name some right now. But as I said, it's a perception the Jedi would get Moded that I think is a major barrier. Rightly or wrongly, but is only repeating what is said behind closed doors and not just by me.

b) *Laughs* Oh hell no, I'm not launching anything at you. I'll be happy to chat. And mate, if you had been on this side of my fence, you'll know that flame is very justifyedand is well and truly overdue. I actually did name anme before I was persuaded to remove them, but the body of the flame remained. I guess it's my fault in some way that few know why I let rip, becuase I'm a closed door and anything said in private stays that way and remains so.

You also have to remember, I speak from the perspective of being around a good deal longer than just about anyone else. Only one other has been around for as long as I have and I believe that person shares my opinion. The root cause goes back nearly two years ago.

I also think Viscera has a bum rap too. I know him OOC and he has improved one hell of a lot, tto the point where he's genuinely good. He's not exactly liked tho. I dont care, I think he's ok.

But the person I think of? Well, I've tried to be resonable, I;ve tried to see thigns their way, I've tried to be peaceful, but f***wit keeps digging their knife in, just keeps on with the OOC BS and is the single most dispised person I know of.

I'd like to say some things. I think this is an issue that won't go away until we deal with it, and I'd like to speak my thoughts. Now keep in mind that these thoughts are months old, I don't know what's changed, since I just got back.

God Moding: I think one of the porblems is that the newer Sith don't understand the ranks clearly. One time I fought a Sith that wasn't even a Warrior, I was a Knight at the time. One of his posts was somewhat like this - "I hit you 40 times with my hammer. Then I throw you off the cliff" - Okay... The problem here is, I think, that the new recruits on BOTH sides, Jedi and Sith, should be reminded of the ranks, and what this entails. Someone should know that it isn't fair to hit someone 40 times in one post, and that it'd be impossible to get in more than 3 on a Knight if you aren't even a TSE Warrior. Months ago, before I took time off, I checked out the TSE training ground. I saw no OOC teaching, save a few, to the apprentices. I think that Master/Appren
