Kyry walked casually into the bar and grill and dumped her two blasters in the security gaurd's arms without so much as a glance at his face.
Looking around at the patrons, she smiled when she saw an empty barstool, and weaving her slender frame through the tables, slid onto the stool. Reaching into her leather jacket, she pulled out her credcard, then slapped the bar top with an open palm. "Barkeep! Barabel vodka, straight up!"
This caught the attentions of one of the men by her, for he turned to gaze at her, smiling. "That's the ticket! I like a woman who likes vodka!"
She smiled right back at him. "Oh really?"
"Righto!"
"So do I," she said, deadpan, looking back to the bartender. "Hey where's my vodka?"
The man beside her stared, got up from his stool, and left. The vodka arrived, and Kyry sniggered to herself. *What a gullible breed.*
Tipping back the shot glass, she downed the contents easily, and while waiting for another, turned on her stool to look at the individuals populating the bar. She spotted a few familiar faces, nodded in their direction, and even saw someone who owed her money from the last shockboxing match. He smiled nervously at her.
Twisting back to the bar she took the refilled glass and brought it to her lips.

*Nash, a jedi knight with to much free time walked into the bar and was about to sit at a table when a man got there before he did..*
"Luck jedi don't get mad, you are.."
*He mutterd under his breath and and noticed he left a seat by a lady by the stool he left..*
"Eh... oh well.."
*He brushed past the standing people and sat down and facing the bar.. he turned his head to the bartender and orderd an ale, then turned back to watching the bar*

Kyry noticed the jedi take the recently vacated stool, but said nothing as she downed her fourth shot. Her hand slapped the bartop once more. "Another round, and make it snappy!"
She was in a good mood. Flashing the jedi beside her a smile, she turned back to the barkeep when he set the drinks before her.

*Nash had just started his ale.. and the girl next to him sounded like she has more then 5 already.. When she smiled at him he returned it with a slight grin of his own, and keeped looking over the bar*
"You know.. if you drink so much you are probaly going to get drunk and going to have to be carred by someone you probaly don't know....
*He took a sip of his drink and gave her a sideways glance with a visible smirk*
......seen it happen, I have."
Kyry
Jan 10th, 2002, 02:07:47 AM
Kyry laughed. "Is that an offer?" Looking at him, she returned his smirk. "No chance of me getting drunk really, too much tech wired into my brain," as she spoke, she turned her head slightly and lifted her hair from the back of her neck to reveal four small neural-jack connection ports, "filters out most of the alcohol. Best I can do is get a mild buzz."
She let her hair drop, and a good-natured smile graced her features as she extended a hand. "Kyry Nerrot-s'Ilancy."

*He reached out with his left and shook her hand, thinking of the jacks he saw as he did*
"Jedi Knight, Nash Stolar."
*He put his hand back at his side under his cloak and took another sip of his ale*
"That are the connection ports used for?"
Kyry
Jan 10th, 2002, 10:10:14 PM
"Well," she leaned forward and rested an elbow on the bartop, her leather jacket creaking slightly, "hacking, mostly." In all honesty, she detested the usage of the word slicing to describe what she did.
Tipping another shot glass back, she went on. "Though I do spend alot of time interfacing with my sister's ship; installing things and fixing whatever problems arise in the thing's brain."
She smiled once more. "How about you? What does a Jedi KNight like yourself do to pass tme?"
Nash Stolar
Jan 10th, 2002, 10:40:04 PM
Why am I always asked that?*Nash thought as he finished off his drink*
"Usualy Jedi knights are busy training padawans, sparing or fighting sith.. or some boring totaly serious thing.."
*He shrugged and orderd another drink..*
"I just prefere to stay at the bar and down a few drinks before I go back to training my own padawans.. or just walk around outside.. as far as sparing goes.. last time I did I knocked out the other guy out cold with one kick.. What a intresting life I lead, right?"
Wish something would happen in my life..
Kyry
Jan 10th, 2002, 10:51:18 PM
She listened to him, then shrugged. "Some people like it, some don't. I know I wouldn't, but then again, some people wouldn't particularly like the things I do," she laughed, "or all the trouble I've caused."
She drank the last shot of vodka, and grinned. "Barfights tend to follow me around."
*Gods he looks bored,* she thought, looking at him. "Do you really like being a Jedi Knight?"
Nash Stolar
Jan 10th, 2002, 11:07:34 PM
"Bar fights.... haven't been in oen of those for a long time.... ! uh.. Being a knight had ups and downs.. It was not what I expected it to be.. very over rated.. but hey.. at least I am not a padawan anymore.. Now I can boss the people around.."
*He got tired of watching the bar and looked at Kyry*
"Sorry, I must be boring you."
Kyry
Jan 10th, 2002, 11:18:54 PM
She laughed at his last remark. " Mr. Stolar, I just met you. I haven't known or talked with you long enough to think you're boring." Her eyes shined, "It's morons with overbearing egos I can't stand; like the one who vacated the stool you're on now."
She looked back at the man who'd come on to her earlier and glared at him for a moment before turning back to Nash.
"You know, you're lucky you get to boss people around," she started with a laugh, "I only get to do that to my sister's droid, and I can't even do that anymore. Accidentally blew him up a coupla days ago."
"If you don't mind me asking, what did you do before becoming a jedi?"
Nash Stolar
Jan 10th, 2002, 11:44:28 PM
"Hmm.."
*Nash leaned back on the bar counter letting his elbows rest behind him as he did.. His left elbow was coverd by what seemed like the same material as his cloak was made of but his right elbow was not.. He looked at Kyry through a sideways glance as he answerd her question, with a grin.*
"I was your run of the mill merc. Usualy I just fought in the front lines in the little no name battles that you see on the news now and again.. After a mission for the NR navy I quit.. personal reasons.. anything else you wanted to know?"
Kyry
Jan 11th, 2002, 01:35:45 AM
"Naw, that's all for now," she grinned. She was tempted to find a terminal, log in, and start the little project s'Il had given her, but decided to wait for the time being. Calling to the barkeep, she ordered a glass of water.
Kyry looked back to Nash, still smiling. Her water was set before her, and she handed the barkeep her credcard. Turning to gaze out at the bar interior, she let her eyes wander. "I've only been in here a few times. It's a pretty nice place."
Nash Stolar
Jan 11th, 2002, 12:31:45 PM
"Yeah, compared to some of the other bars, This place is luxury."
*Nash watched the people.. It was not like anyother day, nothing seemed to be happening that would attract any attention..*
"So what brings you here? Any reason or just visiting the bar?"
Kyry
Jan 11th, 2002, 09:16:07 PM
"I have a few errands to run, but decided to get a drink first." Leaning on the bar, she ran a hand over the back of her neck, letting her fingers pass idly over the ports. In actuality, she had four more on her arms and one right behind her left ear, but didn't feel the need to show them; most of what she'd had wired into her body was illegal hardware anyway.
She smiled at Nash and laughed. "Shelter before the storm, if you will."

Jan 11th, 2002, 09:50:26 PM
"Yeah.. Nothing to bad I hope, last thing you need is more peopel wanting you dead, right?"
*He chuckled lightly and looked back at her noticing she had water and not a shot of something else*
"Liver give out already?"
*He joked with a smile*
Kyry
Jan 11th, 2002, 10:24:04 PM
Kyry laughed, her smile growing. "Oh no, not a chance. Water just clears the mind."
She took another drink, finishing the rest in one gulp. Setting the glass down, she accepted her credcard from the barkeep and looked at Nash. "There wouldn't happen to be a terminal anywhere in this place, would there?"
Nash Stolar
Jan 11th, 2002, 11:34:54 PM
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure its in the back by the bathrooms.. almost anything you can think of is probaly over there as well.."
*Nash pointed to the general direction of it*
"If I may.. what might you need it for?"
Kyry
Jan 12th, 2002, 01:07:08 AM
Kyry smiled disarmingly. "I just want to check up on some stats," she stood, "I like to follow my team." She grinned widely, and excused herself from his presence with a slight nod and bow.
As she made her way swiftly to the back, she pulled five thin cords from her jacket pocket, and swiftly plugged four of them into the ports on the back of her neck. Stopping at the terminal Nash had spoken of, she proceeded to plug the fifth into one of the ports on the underside of her left forearm.
Reaching back behind the terminal with dexterous fingers, she hooked the wires into the main access hub. Her eyes closed as she dropped in.

Jan 12th, 2002, 01:36:04 AM
*Nash was leaning on the wall by the terminal he pointed out, he did not turn aroudn to look at her, he knew he did not have to for her to hear him being a quiter place in the bar*
"If you wanted info on Ciz you are better off finding a private terminal. Hacking farther into the NR files here will get you noticed. But I think you already noticed that."
Kyry
Jan 12th, 2002, 01:48:49 AM
She ripped the cords from the ports on her person in frustration. She looked up at Nash whole pocketing the wires. "Where would you recommend? Unless you know this Sasseeri Reouura."
She could still see the words before her; access denied, and sighed. She took it as a personal challenge when she found a file she couldn't get into right away.
Nash Stolar
Jan 12th, 2002, 01:59:01 AM
"Sasseeri Reouura? Can't say I know her.. But as far as terminals go, I know there is one in the council room, but going in there as a hacker and not a knight or master is suicide, and I am pretty sure there is a a couple of them in the living area, they would be easer to get to.. but if you get noticed its probaly all over if your not a jedi or with one.."
*He smirked.. and looked around*
"But I probably should not be giving you info on terminals to hack into."
Kyry
Jan 12th, 2002, 02:12:41 AM
Kyry crossed her arms, a mischevious glint flashing in her eyes as a thought raced through her mind. Reaching up to pat Nash lightly on the cheek, she grinned. "Don't you worry about me. I'm going to go check out the sights. I'll be back later, ok? I promise. And when I get back, I'll buy you a drink."
She started for the door, then called over her shoulder, "You're too cute for me not to."
Making it to the door, she turned around once more and smiled at him before ducking outside and vanishing into the crowds.
Kyry
Jan 12th, 2002, 10:05:24 PM
Kyry walked back into the bar and grill, her mood dark. She hadn't been this angry in a long while, and seeing that there were no stools available at the bar, cursed. Her direction changed and she headed for a booth. Sliding in, she ordered a bottle of the bar's strongest moonshine from a server droid.
She didn't see Nash; apparently he'd left. Her eyes closed as she rested elbows on the table and buried her face in her hands. It wasn't any shortcomings on her side, she knew that. Her hacking skills were top notch; she was just looking in the wrong places. Still. Granted she got a marginal amount of information, but s'Il wanted this woman's history, any connections she had; a good deal more than what Kyry had found.
Even diving into the terminal in the Jedi's General Assembly had been different for her. Normally she felt at home in any mainframe or central core she found herself in, but this one was different. Maybe it was because it belonged to jedi, she didn't know, but there was something; a general feeling of a collective ghost presence pervading her senses while she was inside. Gritting her teeth, she tried to remember if she'd ever felt anything like it before. She hadn't.
She heard whispers, but it wasn't through her ears. The soft rustling of voices traveled through her nerves, and she snapped her head up, looking around. Her fingers ran over the ports on the back of her neck, and she hissed out a breath between her teeth. A lingering essence was running rampant through her internal hardware, and she almost screamed. What the hell had she hacked into?!
Looking up as the server set the bottle and a cup on the table, Kyry muttered a thanks.
"What did I dive into?" she murmured to herself.

Jan 12th, 2002, 11:35:47 PM
"I have no idea, but it looks like it burned you out.. You alright?"
*Came a familiar voice from behind her, nash stood there, a slight grin on his face as he spoke..*
"Sorry, I left.. someone wanted to see me at the training grounds for a little bit. Besides.. you said you would buy me a drink so I am back."
Kyry
Jan 12th, 2002, 11:48:45 PM
Kyry jumped in her seat, startled by Nash's answer. She hadn't seen him come back into the b&g, and was caught completely unaware. She motioned for him to sit, and beckoned a server droid over.
At his inquiry on how she was doing, she forced a smile. "I don't know...... I've never..... it was like......" she stopped talking, the internal tumult of low voices whipping through her brain like a mental hurricane. She shook her head in a futile effort to shake them away, then looked at Nash when the server stopped at the table. "I've got moonshine, but if you want something different, please feel free to order whatever you want." A faint smile touched her lips, and she continued to massage her neck ports.
Nash Stolar
Jan 13th, 2002, 12:03:19 AM
*He nodded and sat down.. first he orderd his drink*
"I'll take a moonshine."
*Nash spoke to the droid and then looked up at Kyry as it left to get the order.*
"Well.. I doubt I will know what to do if something is wrong.. but.. can you say what happend?"
Kyry
Jan 13th, 2002, 12:19:04 AM
Her face held a puzzled expression as she looked at the man across from her. "Well, that's the thing; I don't really know. I was able to get a few things on Reeouurra, but hardly as much as s'Il wanted. I'll probably have to find a way into NRSF HQ to get the stuff she wants."
She pulled back her sleeve to expose one of the ports on her arm, and began rubbing a hand over it. All of her ports felt.....weird.
She went on. "I didn't start feeling out of it until I walked back into the bar; then it was like, something invading my hardware and inspecting every bit of information I have in here," she tapped her head. She smiled gingerly at Nash. "When I, uh, went into the mainframe, the interface was as normal as any other, but there was this feeling. It's hard to describe. Kinda like a collective presence. A ghost, if you will."
Kyry groaned. *Gods I must sound like a lunatic.*
Nash Stolar
Jan 13th, 2002, 12:36:42 AM
"Alright.."
*Nash had never heard of something like this, nor had he ever thought he would.. He did not know even what to say, but he guessed that she would know that.. so he just nodded*
"Think it may be a new type of anti-hack that was downloaded through your ports?"
Kyry
Jan 13th, 2002, 12:53:24 AM
She shook her head. "That was no anti-hack program; if it was I'd be brain-fried by now. I don't even think it was a program at all."
She took a drink of the drink she ordered, her face scowling. She'd heard stories of dead jedi clinging to people, places, even objects in this plane of existance, and had no doubts in her mind that what she had encountered was just such a thing, only on a much larger scale, and with many more jedi. True, the whispers were fading by now, but that particular hack was something she wouldn't soon forget.
She smiled at Nash. "I'll be fine. Don't worry about me."
Nash Stolar
Jan 13th, 2002, 02:41:28 AM
*Nash's drink came and he took at.. thanked the droid and looked at Kyry for a little without saying anything.. He knew she was hiding something.. like she had a good idea what had happend.. but it was not his field to dive into the subject with a person he just meet*
"Alright.. Well other then that, how has your day been?"
*Nash took a sip of his drink and quickly hid a face.*
Kyry
Jan 13th, 2002, 08:07:47 PM
Kyry laughed aloud at the face Nash pulled, then hid just as quickly. "You gotta watch out for that stuff, it'll punch through ya like nothing." Her laugh turned into a slight giggle as she took another drink of her own liquor.
Drumming her fingers on the table, she grinned. "So far my day has been pretty good; with the exception of this most recent problem, of course." The whispers were all but gone, and she leaned back. "How about you?"
Nash Stolar
Jan 13th, 2002, 08:27:08 PM
*He nodded at what she said about the drink, then straightend himself out and spoke liek it never happend*
"My day.. well it started off normal untill I meet you, then it got alot more intresting.. that it did."
*He grinned and took a slighty smaller sip of the drink, He was not much of a drinker but he could get used to heavy things for a day or so he he wanted to*
"I was wondering, is finding the info for a mission or are you just wanting to know?"
Kyry
Jan 13th, 2002, 08:46:47 PM
Kyry sipped from her cup. "My sister asked me to find it for her; she said it was important. She just got done doing a merger with some other company, so I don't know the exact particulars yet. I haven't even met the CEO of the other company. I spend most of my time inside networks and mainframes anyway, so when I'm in the solid world, I usually go off and chill with my friends. s'Il calls me a free-loader," Kyry's eyes glinted, "but she doesn't really care just as long as I upgrade the Snatch every so often."
She took off her jacket and set it on the seat beside her and smiled at Nash. She'd discarded the cloak she'd used in the General Assembly. "So, what area of the force do you specialize in?"
Nash Stolar
Jan 13th, 2002, 09:18:33 PM
"Actualy... I don't really specialize in much with the force, I tend to keep all the fields open.. and I just teach the basics like my master did with me.. anyways I don't use the force as much as the rest of the knights do.. don't know why.. but I never just really did..."
*Nash smiled, he hoped he was not boring and made at least some sence on what he was talking about.*
"Intrested in the force?"
Kyry
Jan 13th, 2002, 09:34:39 PM
"Honestly? Not much. It never held any interest to me. I mean, I'm impressed with how some people use it, but, well, I'm just not that into it." She smiled faintly, "I consider it like a weapon, in all truthfulness; a two-edged sword. It'll swing one way or the other, and it won't care who's on the dying side."
She shrugged, finishing off the cup and pouring more into it. A thought occured to her, and she looked at him. "Why didn't you stop me from going to the General Assembly, anyway? I mean, you had to have known that was where I was going."
Nash Stolar
Jan 13th, 2002, 10:14:38 PM
*Nash smirked and finished off the drink he had*
"Well.. I knew you were not going to get far, besides the terminals here are a little outdated... you would be better off going to a NR terminal itself and trying there.. or trying a rouge one.."
Kyry
Jan 14th, 2002, 01:30:14 AM
Kyry laughed, rolling her eyes. "You're a slick one," she said between drinks. She tossed the cap of the moonshine playfully at Nash with a grin. "You're evil, too."
Nash Stolar
Jan 14th, 2002, 03:41:44 PM
*Nash cought the bottle cap and grinned as he looked at it*
"Slick.. a little.. But evil? How so? I was just looking out for you.."
*He looked up at her, smiled and flicked it playfully back*
Kyry
Jan 14th, 2002, 08:44:22 PM
"My knight in shining armor," she laughed once more, snatching the cap from the air and dropping it on the table while rubbing the small port directly behind her ear. The whispers were gone now, and she felt more at ease and expelled a long breath.
Nash Stolar
Jan 14th, 2002, 09:29:45 PM
A knight in shining armor.. I wish it was as easy as it sounded
*Nash recalled her talking about something called "Snatch" he figured it was a mainframe of some type because she said it was upgraded.. but it never hurt to make sure..*
"So.. what is the snatch you were talking about?"
Kyry
Jan 14th, 2002, 11:36:31 PM
"The Snatch is my sister's ship. A customized Ubrikkian space yacht; used to belong to Jabba the Hutt, but she made off with it after he was killed. She runs the company from it."
She smiled. "Anything else?"
Nash Stolar
Jan 14th, 2002, 11:48:07 PM
*So he was wrong, happend all the time it seemed..*
"Just how big is the ship? Personaly I am used to small dubble or single seater ships like fighters and things or behind the guns of a battle crusier.."
Kyry
Jan 15th, 2002, 12:39:11 AM
"It's a pretty good size; can hold 6 z-95 Headhunters in the landing bay." She sipped her drink. "Jabba had it all done up real fancy like, but s'Il would have none of it. After she got it, she stripped all the none-essential stuff out and sold it all. Toned it way down; you should see her office, even. All she's got in there are a desk, three chairs, and a painting of a sunset on Alderaan."
Kyry sighed. "It's a good ship, though. I like it."
Nash Stolar
Jan 15th, 2002, 03:35:05 PM
"For such a ship to have so little it seems a little like a waste.."
*He found himself thinking about what it might be like to live in a ship like that with almost nothing to do.. reminded him of navy transport ships, Nothing fancy about them, they just got people where they needed to go in the fastest time posible*
"So what is it she does?"
Kyry
Jan 15th, 2002, 10:49:59 PM
"Well, she just pretty much got rid of all the gaudy, flashy crap; tapestries, useless decorations, you know. She's got this room where she keeps all the weapons she collects; and I mean, she's got alot. Mostly sword and knives and exotic blades. She loves 'em." Kyry smirked. "Me though, I'm a partial to demolitions and blasters myself."
At his question of s'Il's proffession, she bit her lip. "Uh, she's pretty much into aquisitions and transportation." She wasn't exactly lying, but she wasn't exactly telling the truth either, and she had no reservations that he knew it. *Well, s'Il does transport stuff, and she has no trouble getting her hands on something she wants, but....*
It's just.....she didn't know him well enough to go out and tell him what it was s'Il exactly did. The Metal Eyed Butcher was still fresh on some people's minds, and while Kyry was sure no one here had heard of s'Il, she knew that for the time being, things should stay that way.
Nash Stolar
Jan 15th, 2002, 11:03:03 PM
*He nodded and grinned, but he knew she was not telling him all.. it was a thing you pick up as a jedi when you talk to alot of people.. sometimes it was a curse*
"Well, to be honest I never heard of s'Il untill you started to talk about her, but she sounds like a tough cookie.. And demolitions and blasters? Reminds me of when I was a padawan.. lets just say a few of the newer rooms in the living area wern't exactaly sapost to be there before awhile ago."
Kyry
Jan 15th, 2002, 11:09:26 PM
Kyry chuckled. "Actually, she can be a real softy most of the time; it's just, well, she had to be tough back when she was living on Nar Shadda and spending most of her time with the Hutts. I guess it carried over into subconscious habits." She shrugged.
When he mentioned the "new living quarters," she laughed and leaned forward. "Do you have things accidentally blow up on you too, then?"
Nash Stolar
Jan 15th, 2002, 11:24:01 PM
"Yeah, we all could have been called over friendly at times.."
*He smiled and looked over at Kyry, he was supprised he had not made her leave yet with boredum, then she asked about things blowing up accidentally and he laughed*
"What fun would it be if it diden't have the power to blow you to hoth and back? And I have my own little collection of blasters, swords and ect. back at my room.. WHat fun is it to follow the rules all the time, right?"
Kyry
Jan 16th, 2002, 07:13:36 PM
She smiled evilly over her glass. "You may have rules, but I don't."
The memoy of Entwo's scarred remains flashed into her mind, and she smiled; gods she was glad that rust bucket was gone. Then she remembered something, and looked at Nash.
"You know any good droid dealers around here? s'Il's making me pick up a new droid to replace the one I blew up."
Nash Stolar
Jan 16th, 2002, 08:43:34 PM
"Droids?"
*Nash went quiet, like he was trying to remember things*
"Well.. if its legal droids.. no... But this bar is full of people I bet one of them can get you something.. or you can visit a junk yard.. uh.. Sorry that did not help much, I never really needed a droid so I can't really name anyone.."
Kyry
Jan 17th, 2002, 11:48:29 PM
"Don't worry about it, then." She blinked, then called a server droid over. "Can I have another bottle," she said, shaking the empty one. It left, and she looked back at Nash. "So. What's on your mind?"
Nash Stolar
Jan 18th, 2002, 12:05:58 AM
*Nash smiled and looked at his boots*
"Can I just say 'something' or do I have to go into detail?"
Kyry
Jan 18th, 2002, 12:20:28 AM
Her eyes glinted and she grinned. "Details, most definately." The droid returned and set another bottle on the table, but she paid it no heed, instead staring at the man across from her.
Nash Stolar
Jan 18th, 2002, 01:05:16 AM
"Well... I was thinking of myself as a knight, I mean... Most of what I told you wasen't exactaly jedi like.. but then.. No one really gives a care what I do most of the time anyways, To tell the truth I one day could save the order from a sith army. and no one but maybe a handfull would know it was me and the rest would just prase a higher up who took the credit, makes you wonder if its worth it... but hey.. thats life."
*He looked up and smiled at Kyry*
Kyry

Kyry rested her elbows on the table, frowning slightly. "So what if what you've told me isn't jedi-like? I certainly don't care; I'd much rather talk to you as you and not you as a trumped up jedi. And it seems to me that if you did save the order from some disaster and some higher-up muckity muck took the credit, than that's not saying much for the jedi order as a whole."
She leaned back. "Are you getting bored with being a jedi?"

"hmm.."
*He put his arms behind his head and leaned back, and looked at the roof of the bar*
"To be truthful.. once or twice I have to say yes.. but then when I think of leaving I remember all that I will leave behind, friends,Padawans.. and those few good memorys that keep you comming back for more.. Then I remember all those that leave, and there sad stories of how they wish they could be back.. And that is what makes me stay."
Kyry

She nodded, understanding. If someone had asked her to leave her way of life, she'd refuse as well. Despite the bad times, she'd always managed to find herself having fun and found herself sympathizing with Nash. "So," she began slowly, refilling her glass, "where to now?" She was in a rare mood; one of reminiscing, and her simple question seemed to surprise even herself. She blushed slightly.

*Nash was cought off by the question, mostly because he was never asked it before.. so he said the first thing to come to mind*
"I don't know.. Where to?"
Kyry
Jan 18th, 2002, 02:25:21 AM
Kyry smiled then, and laughed quietly. "I honestly don't know." Stretching her limbs, she went on. "I'm enjoying myself just hanging out though, honestly. I don't know about you, but I haven't been able to do this in a long while. Usually I'll stop in at the Lazy 'I' back home on Yagh'dul for something to eat than head back out, and every now and then I'll actually sit down for a drink."

"Indeed, Just do what you have to and leave it seems like now.. Makes you enjoy a break you can actualy relax on alot better, Don't you think?"
Kyry
Jan 18th, 2002, 11:23:16 PM
"Most definately," she nodded. "I haven't been able to sit back and rest in a while. I like the feeling." she smiled at him.

ooc: For some odd reason I knew you were related.. lol And it bet it is funny to watch when your sister runs into a wall and says "outta the way."

"Before I was a hacker?" her eyes closed in thought, and she let her memories drift back to her younger years. "Well, I stayed with my mom mostly; she wouldn't let me near my dad; said he was too much of a loose cannon."
ooc: sorry 'bout that, she's being acting like a moron, lol, she pressed enter before I was done typing, lol

"He and my mom were never really split, she just tried to keep us kids away from him. I mean, she loved him and all, but he was a hitman and she didn't want us to get involved with his business. She couldn't keep s'Il away, though, no way."
She laughed, then. "In fact, she left when I was still 14, and we didn't see eachother till 7 years later. She'd become an assassin like dad, and I was hired by this guy to be a bodygaurd. Funny thing is, it was the same guy she'd been contracted to kill." Kyry shook her head, remembering. "For the first time in 7 years we had a little conversation over an illegal brain channel, and I gave her a neural spike."
She took a drink, chuckling. "It's been 9 years since then, and she still bugs me about it."
ooc: bah, she's such a dork when she's drunk, lol

"Must have been something to find her again I bet... I left my famly at a early age as well. and became a merc. I did not have very strong bonds to them so I have no idea what they are doing now or if they died."
Kyry
Jan 19th, 2002, 01:15:02 AM
She looked at the tabletop. "I'm sorry."
She poured herself anther drink. "So, how 'bout you? You ever wanted to settle down and start a family?"

Jan 19th, 2002, 01:20:02 AM
"There is nothing to be sorry about.."
*He smiled and went back to looking at the bar's roof as if he was looking for something that was not there*
"Settle down and start a famly? Haven't gave it much thought.. mostly because I never found a woman I like, or likes me back yet.. What about you?"
Kyry
Jan 19th, 2002, 01:40:00 AM
"Me? Yeah right." she shook her head slightly as she laughed. "No man I've ever met is willing to put up with me. I'm too much of a liability."
She leaned back, still grinning. "Simply put, I cause too much trouble."

Jan 19th, 2002, 01:59:40 AM
*Nach chuckled*
"You don't know to much trouble untill you make a hole in the side of the bar and your master has to pay for it.. Thats trouble."
Kyry
Jan 19th, 2002, 02:11:35 AM
"Well, I've never put a hole in the wall of a bar, but s'Il and I," Kyry laughed, "we started this fight at the Lazy 'I'. It's famous all over Yagh'dul; she knocked out at least three of the cops when they arrived, including their constable. And me? I snuck behind the bar and grabbed a bottle of vodka. s'Il joined me, and we sat there drinking while everyone else beat eachother's brains out. It was great."
She sighed. "And then there was the time I helped her get onto an Imperial star destroyer so she could pull some ungodly prank. Now that was fun." Her eyes shined at the memory, and she smiled at Nash.
Nash Stolar
Jan 19th, 2002, 02:30:21 AM
"Hmm... I would call sneaking into a star destroyer more insane then just causing trouble... what did you do in there?"
*He looked at her.. He was not much of a sneaking person.. and getting into a star destroyer was not an easy thing to do.*
Kyry
Jan 19th, 2002, 04:13:50 AM
Kyry laughed. "Ok, so get this. She's running some sensitive equipment for an old friend when she drops out of hyperspace right on top of this star destroyer. She's so pissed that she cusses out the comm officer in like, 4 different languages. So they haul her in, take her stuff, and dump her on some iceball planet."
She refilled her cup, going on. "Lucky for her she ran into some smugglers. Now, at that time I was off on Selonia doing some special jobs when I get this call from her. She was so mad I could tell by the sound in her voice she was out for blood. So I hot-foot it to where she is, and she cooks up this grand scheme to give this admiral......" she hesitated, putting a hand to her mouth stifle the laughs threatening to overtake her, "a swirlie."
She leaned back, taking deep breath. "I'll let her tell you how she did it; I still don't know exactly how she pulled it off, but she did. She's even got the holos to prove it."

*Nash chuckled, now he wanted to know how she did it..*
"So that comes nothing to making a hole in your local bar, How did she get off the ship after I finished? I bet that guy would have been pretty ticked..."
Kyry
Jan 22nd, 2002, 12:48:16 AM
"Yeah, he was just a little mad," she laughed, "and we got out with some help; another smuggling group was having a little tiff with them, so we just used them as cover. Easiest thing in the world."
Kyry took a drink and smiled at Nash. "I'll have to get s'Il to show you the holos sometime; you'd wet your pants."

Kyry

Kyry couldn't help the evil grin that crossed her features as she leaned forward over the table. "And what, pray tell do you have in mind?"

Jan 23rd, 2002, 01:01:24 AM
Kyry sat back, her mind churning. Well, they could start a barfight, but she wasn't really in the mood for a fight. That left low-level explosives; fireworks to be technical, but the ones she tended to make herself were even more outrageous than the already banned and illegal ones.
"Well," she started slowly, "I've got a case of 'ankle-biters' I made last week. They're kinda like ground spinners or jumping jacks, but mine have a bigger explosive radius and make a lot more noise. I also have a ton of smoke bombs; those are always fun.
"I could always reprogram the server droids to do the macarena or even some pro-wrestling; that's not hard at all. I think I saw a pet store or something before I came in here; we could get a truck-load of scurriers and let the little rat-buggers loose in here. Or we could just blow another whole in the wall," she laughed.

*Nash chuckled and smiled*
"What about mixing a few of those? Setting up a chain of "ankle-biters" smoke bombs and a maybe somethign else, ya know.. enough to wake the bar up."
Kyry
Jan 23rd, 2002, 01:55:33 AM
She nodded. "Ankle-biters and smoke bombs sound good to me. I kind of want to do the scurriers, too; that would be a load of laughs."
Standing, she grinned at Nash. "Well, my dear partner in crime. Shall we?"

*He stood up with a grin, this reminded him of what he wanted to do as a padawan.. If he was cought the punishment would most likely be more severe but for once.. he did not care*
"Alright, Lets get going.. Where do you have all this stored?"
Kyry
Jan 23rd, 2002, 02:53:15 AM
She smiled and led the way from the bar towards the other side of town to where her ship was berthed. It was a MandalMotors StarViper, sleek and jet black; not only did she like big explosions, but she also liked fast ships.
Palming the hatch open, she leaned halfway in and pulled out a small case. Handing it to Nash, she reached back in and pulled out another. Propping it between her hip and her arm, she closed the hatch and started back the way they'd come. "Those are the smoke bombs in the case you've got," she started, heading towards the animal shop she'd seen earlier. "This is gonna be too good."

Jan 23rd, 2002, 08:41:03 PM
*Nash was holding the small case and looked at it once in a while then back to the road they were following*
"How many are in here?"
*The case was small, but as smoke bombs went the case was bigger in its own respect*
Kyry
Jan 23rd, 2002, 11:54:08 PM
"Well," she began, "those babies are my own personal reserve; they're only about as big as your thumb, but they pack quite a punch."
She walked into the shop and made her way to the front desk. The owner looked at her curiously before smiling. "Can I help you?"
"I hope. You have scurriers?"
"Of course. How many do you need?"
Kyry looked at Nash, then turned back to the owner. "I'd say around 75-100. You have that many?"
"No problem." A questioning look passed over the owner's face. "How you gonna carry 'em all?"
Kyry handed the other case to Nash. "I will. You have carriers, right?"
"Yes."
"Good. Give me two carrier cases; put fifty in each one." As she spoke, she pulled her credcard out and set it on the countertop. The owner took the card, made the transaction, and after returning it, went into the back of the shop to so as Kyry had instructed.
Two minutes later Kyry led the way out of the shop; two carriers in each hand, brimming with scurriers. She looked at Nash with a mischevious grin. "You ready to have some fun?"

"Very much so.."
Kyry
Jan 24th, 2002, 12:29:20 AM
She walked around to the back of the bar and grill, and setting down the carriers, threw a heavy tarp over them followed by a few packing crates.
"Ok," she said, taking one of the cases. "You know a way we can sneak this stuff inside? I doubt the door gaurd is gonna let these things past."

Jan 24th, 2002, 12:06:07 PM
*He thought for a little, then got somewhat of a plan. He really diden't know if it would work but it would be worth a try*
"We could say it is tonights special. But if we do we are going to have to keep out faces hidden."
Kyry
Jan 25th, 2002, 10:36:51 PM
Kyry nodded. "I like it." She sat lazily on the ground, and reached for the case of ankle-biters, taking it from him and setting it in her lap. She lifted the lid carefully and took one out. It was smal; three could fit easily in her hand. It was disc-shaped, and a non-descript grey. There was a small timer built onto it, and she set it for five seconds before tossing it as far as she could, away from their position.
Before it hit the ground it erupted in a small explosion, and proceed to bounce crazily along the ground. Sparks of varying color flew in all directions and soon its radius grew to twice the size it had been previously. It wasn't very loud; the only noise coming from it was a high pitched hum, and a full minute after it'd started, it slowly died out.
"Now imagine about thirty of those suckers going off in the bar, along with smokebombs and scurriers running all over the place," she said grinning.
ooc: you wanna start a new thread for this? we could call it something like 'just a little fun (open)' or whatever. what do you think?

"This looks great, Nothing what I did as a padawan is going to compeat with the fun of this."
