Sitting alone in the corner

[Niklos Thorson]

Trying to not bring any attention to himself, Niklose Thorson sat there, holding his Lomin Ale tightly, feeling more uncomfortable than a freverant Imperial in a room full of non-humans. I'm an unknown face round here he thought to himself, It may be better to stay that way. Taking another drink from his bottle, he slowly leant back, surveying the surroundings.

Oriadin was sat in the bar and grill, sipping on his usual, ice water. He'd been there a short while when a young man walked in. He looked particularly uncomfortable so he decided to introduce himself to make him feel more welcom. He picked up his ice water and made his way over to him.

--Greetings, my names oriadin. Im a padawan here. You are to arent you?--

Oriadin had seem many newcommers recently and was learning to spot a them.

Niklos looked up at the newcomer, and gave a slight smile.

"Well, I hope so. I'm waiting for a Master to be assigned to me"

Oriadin smiled back to the newcomer.

--Well, welcome to the Greater Jedi Order. I hope you find a master to train you soon. We have been kept very busy over recent weeks with new force sensitives. I myself am in limbo with my Master. It seems he doesnt have much time for me so I think I will require somone else. Patience is the key and its something Ive had to learn and deal with early on.--

Oriadin looked the newcomer up and down

--So, tell me a bit about yourself. Where your from, a bit about your past.--

[Niklos Thorson]

Niklos looked down into his drink, as if the answer was written at the bottom of the glass. After a short while, he spoke.

"Well, I was brought up on Corellia. Once I got the chance, I signed up for the New Republic Navy, got into Snubfighting. Got command of my own flight, thats a third of a Squadron. Then found out I had the force, applied here, ordered a drink, and met you" He said, finishing in a smile.

[Oriadin]

--Seems like things are moving fairly quickly for you then!--

Oriadin said as he smiled back. Have you found yourself a place to stay yet? At the Living Quarters?
