Sejah Haversh

Boredom at home was something Sejah knew how to deal with, and did on a frequent basis. There were jobs to do, and friends to see. But he was no longer at home, and had no immediate plans to be so.
His days now passed at the Jedi Complex and the Bar and Grill as he waited for a master to choose him as a padawan learner. He filled his first few days with watching holovids, and finding out where everything was, but after that time went excruciatingly slow.
Sitting at an empty table near the front of the B&G, Sejah leaned his chin on a paw and lazily took a drink of his water. The cards he had laid out on his table in solitaire fashion were boring him to tears, and so he shrugged himself back up and gathered the cards together and shuffled them a few times; enjoying the buzzing sound they made when zipped together. Turning over the top card, he looked at it, and then set it down. It was the eight of diamonds, a basic card. The next three proved to be low-deal cards as well, and so he gave up on seeing if he could summon up aces and kings.
Stacking all the cards again, the mongoose took another drink of water and then looked back to the door before grabbing the first two cards once more. Setting them on the table, he leaned their tops tovether in an upside-down V fashion and let go, looking at what he had just built. Smiling at the simple pleasure of having created something, the mongoose assembled another V, and then laid a card accoss the tops of them liek a sheet of plywood over two sawhorses. A house of cards was begun, and his boredom and waiting were appeased momentarily.
