Biography as he would like it put:
Sejah was bron into a lower class family, the younger of two brothers. Nehantish was not a friendly place to those not of a prominent house, and his was definitely not. His father, like most blue-collar workers, worked as a mechanic on a space freighter, and his mother found employment in a local office building in the mail department. Sejah's older brother had seven years on him, so when he was no longer a toddler, Sejah was often left in the care of his brother, who was learning to be a mechanic like his father.
When he was five, a serious blow struck the family; Sejah's father was killed on the job in a reactor accident. and his brother was struck down by a drunken driver only three months later. His mother was nearly destroyed by the events, and had to delve into work in order to support the two of them.
Sejah never went to school, having to find odd jobs to support himself and his mother. When he was twelve, he was accosted by a group of bullies, but was able to fight them off with uncanny speed he didn't know he had. The local fencing instructor witnessed the event and aksed Sejah to come to his class to see how well he could do with a blade. Sejah was a natural, learnign complex moves instantly, and able to out maneuver even some of the most skilled opponents. He was branded a child prodigy, and won several local tournaments, but was not allowed to compete in more major tourneys for he was not of a proper family.
So he sank back into normal life, working any job he could get, and turoring local students for the money they could spare. He still attended his master's school, and learned empty paw fighting as well, his speed and foresight giving him an almost unfair edge int hat field as well.
Finally, at the age of twenty-five, a Jedi was passing through the poor quarter of his town, and witnessed one of his classes. Afterward, he pulled Sejah aside and explained to him that it was not just natural slikk that made him so good, but a connection to the Force as well. Most Nehantites were incapable of being in such a way, so Sejah disagreed with him, but was finally talked into saving all eh could and booking passage to Arcan IV to see if you could make it as a Jedi after all. His trip took two and a half weeks, and he had little money left, but was accepted to stay, currently waiting on a master to train him
Often quiet and reserved, Sejah prefers not to speak, lest he embarass himself by showing his lack of education. He also refrains form having to do anyhting that concerns the written word, for he never learned to read. So far, he had been able to hide that secret, but he knew it would come out sooner or later. He can usually be found in his room, or at the Bar and Grill, spending time debating whether or not he made the right choice in leaving home. He is insecure and often feels very alone, and is usually very shy around girls.
But his fighting skill is impressive, even for not having any Force training yet. His speed augmented by the Force, paired with a mongoose's naturally quick reflexes have made him well-known in certain circles of fighters and swordsmen on his homeworld, but his reputation has not preceeded him much further than that. He also has a soft spot for kids, often having taught poor youths for free to see them learn a skill and have fun while they did it.
