" Welcome seeker of the way of the warrior. I will be your instructor today for the first steps to the sect known as the Warrior Jedi.

At the beginning of this talk, I will speak of something that the Sith or our enemies seem to refuse to accept and to their peril.... actually, if they fail to understand, good. Easier to kill em off.

There are three ways of the Jedi. one is the scholar, the healer. They are peacful and usethe Force for pure knowledge. Thereis the vast majority, the Middle ground. A Jedi who specialises in nothing, but knows most of all. The seek knowledge and also fight in defence.

There is however one lastandsmallest group of Jedi that is ancient and is being bought back by those selected by Council. It is a true Jedi way, but from a different point of view. Their belief is that The Force can be used for attack and fight wars. Few, if anyone matched their ways in battle and few understand how such a Jedi could exist.

But they did. The last true Warrior Jedi was Ploo Koon, a great warrior, master of attacking arts. He was the keeper of the Death Touch, a extreme Force skill that lead to the death of an opponent. His was a minority view on Council, most thiought like Yoda. But it is important to know such Jedi did exist and were fearsome Warlords.

There are Jedi in the past of GJO who understood this Warrior art. There are some who would wish to learn it now. Most I know wont. But for the few who will.... welcome to the secrets of War. Welcome to the arts of fighting. Welcome to the Sect known as the Way of the Warrior.

I am Hunter and I will be you weapons and unarmed trainer. Others who will be teaching and will take Warrior apprenices will be Obiwan2, Figrin D An and Beldarine. I myself know some of the secrets of Darth Turbogeek, who is counted as the fiercest fighter known and I will seek to hand them on.

There is one warning... for those who might seek the Way of the Warrior, you must be aware of the following...

1) There will be total devotion to the Jedi. If you stray from the path even slightly, do not ask to be instructed.

2) All Warrior Jedi skirt the Dark Side to a degree. You will walk a fine line and only dedicated and strong Jedi can walk this line and not fall. If you fall.... The NRSF will be informed and I would say your life expectancy will be henceforth be short.

For those who may wish to follow the path of the Warrior, you may step forward at anytime. Do not expect to be automatically to be accepted however.

Sage Hazzard

Sage Hazzard sat crosslegged on the ground. His palms open on his knees. His eyes looked at the man before him. His speech was done and it was time that Sage could speak.

"Sir, I was once being considered to be one of the teachers here at the Warrior Sect. If I am no longer being considered, may I become a Warrior Apprentice? I wish to be a perticipant of the Warrior way, for I know it well."

Jyanis Scorpion

Scorpion kneels and rests his hands at his sides, "With your consent, I would also like to enroll as an apprentice in the way of the warrior."

OOC: Sorry for the OOC but is this thread for knights/masters only? Are Padawans allowed to be part of it?

Padawans may be invited if they show the right qualities. Ability to fight and also a dedication to the Light. Knights and Masters may apply.

I stress that the major reason for being requested is your total dedication to the Light. There is'nt any shortcuts, nor dilutions.

The four Warrior teachers have final say who they chooseto train in the fighting arts. I myself am hand to hand combat and I accept Jyanis to learn from myself.

Jedi Knight Leia Solo

**A petite Jedi Master steps forward and addresses FMH**

I do not consider myself a warrior. Although I can stand my own in a battle, as I have had many.

**Leia bowed her head to Hunter**

Please may I sit in and learn the ways of the warrior. If nothing more, it will sharpen my skills as a Jedi.

OOC: I changed the new banner. Made it read what the forum is now.

Krell Solusar
Jul 30th, 2001, 11:16:53 PM
Enshrouded in customary Jedi robes, Jedi Knight Krell Solusar stood. His only weapon, a Jedi lightsaber, hung ready at his hip.

"I, too, wish to train as a warrior... although, I do not see the Jedi warrior in a parallel light. But I will keep that to my own. We as Jedi have to learn to tolerate and respect one another's opinion, as I do yours."

"I have had extensive training in combat," he doesn't take care to point out that lightsaber technique and martial arts were a cornerstone in his past training in the Circle.

He adds plainly, "... if you would have me."

[/i]OOC: I was a past member of the GJO as Krell. I was apprenticed to Jace Darklighter, but after only a couple of posts, I got sidetracked and left. I've primarily attended the TC chatroom as a Jedi, but, as I've observed, that doesn't count for much here. I hope to retain my title as a Jedi Knight, but, if necessary, I'll step down to Padawan status.

OOC: If you show you really were a Knight by what you do, the tradition here has beento respect ranks from other places... IF it's shown to be for real. Whats the TC Chatroom.... oh Okay, now I remember. Havent been there in a year. Has it chanaged much?

IC : "Not many people see the Jedi Warrior as being part of the Jedi at all, tho it clearly is. Accepted yu have been, as well as everyone else"
