Looks Left and then Right ...

[Navaria Tarkin]

.. down the unfamiliar halls of the GJO. Even when she was first being trained as a Padawan, Navaria was taught elsewhere ... afraid that her extended Sith family would come for her on Dagobah. She never had a chance to really get to see the old Temple. Now being here on this planet, everything was foreign to her and she was quite lost.

[Artemis Jinn]

*Artemis was looking around the Living Quarters, when she turned a corner and almost ran into Navaria.*

Sorry about that. My name's Artemis, I'm new here.

[Navaria Tarkin]

She takes a step back to avoid bumping into Artemis and smiles, thankful that she wasn't the only new person here trying to find her way.

"It's alright. My name is Navaria and I'm having trouble finding my way. Master Solo said I could find a room but I don't know the Academy walls very well yet."

[Jedi Cadet]

::Cadet pokes her head out of one of the many doors around the LQ hallways. She sees the girl that was in Yogs the other day.::

"Oh. hi again. I thought I heard voices out here. um are you looking for something?" she asks the two

[Dragon dlayer]

"I think there looking for rooms."

[Navaria Tarkin]

It was the girl from the bar ... Navaria put on a polite smile.

"Actually, it's rather embarrassing. I was looking for a room here since this is my home now and well ..."

"I'm lost."

[Jedi Cadet]

"Oh ok. Hold on"

::Cadet ducks back into her room, grabs her paint ball gun and comes back out. She shoots dragon once.::

"Got ya." she turns to Navaria "There are alot of rooms open. We just rebuilt this place so it has alot of extra rooms. Just try and stay away from Dragon, Anakis and his buddys. they can get really annoying." cadet says.

[Dragon dlayer]

"I'M ANNOYING!?" *laughs hard* "Your the one who just shot someone with a paintball."

[Jedi Cadet]

"Oh and who was the one that started it with the paint ball guns? hm?"

[Navaria Tarkin]

Closes her eyes and takes a deep breath. Instead of saying anything, she walkes by both dlayer and cadet and turns down the next hall ... looking for a free room.

[Jedi Cadet]

::Cadet shrugs and walks back into her room::

[Dragon dlayer]

Humph *walks off*

[Hart Kenobi]

::Hart walks up behind Navaria and smiles, handing her a room key.::
"Here you go, there's a free room in the third door on the left. I see you packed light. Is there anything I can get you before I leave you?"

[Navaria Tarkin]

She took the key and a warm smile, not the polite one she had on before, came across her lips.

"Thank you for your help."

Navaria straightened her outer robe a little and held out the only change of clothes that she owned.

"Packing light doesn't even begin to explain it. My name is Navaria. I don't believe I had the pleasure of meeting your acquaintance?"

She bowed.

[Hart Kenobi]

::Hart waved off the thanks as he gripped the edges of his robe as he returned the bow deeply.::

*He smiled* "Hello Navaria, my colleagues call me Hart and I welcome you to do the same."

*Hear's two doors slam behind him.* "Please excuse them. I'm positive neither one meant to disrespect your company.

[Navaria Tarkin]

She looked past Hart, down the hall.

"I just don't understand the bickering or what this "paintball" thing is all about. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/ohwell.gif ALT=":\">

Either way, it is a pleasure to meet you Hart. How long have you been with the Order?"

*Artemis sighed and continued down the now empty hallway. As she approached her room, she heard voices. Artemis walked closer and saw her Master with Navaria.*

Hey Master, hello again Navaria. Did you find your room ok? The LQ are so big, it's easy to get lost. I know, I got lost when I came here yesturday too.

[Hart Kenobi]

::Hart smiles:: "Hello Artemis, everything going okay?"

::Hart thinks as he tries to answer Navaria's question::

"I've been a resident within the New Republic at Coruscant (City.Net) for quite a few years, but only recently at the end of the last standard year have I decided to join this order."
*shrugs*
"It's an experience..."
*looks at Navaria*
"How about you? What's your short story?"

[Navaria Tarkin]

"Yes Artemis. Hart here found a free room for me."

She then realized that Hart was one of the teachers here with what Artemis said.

"I should have been much more respectful to you Master Hart. I didn't realize that you taught at the Academy. I still have so much to learn ....

... as for my story. It isn't so short. I lived on Imperial Center for the early part of my life, mostly with my mother as my father, Andron Tarkin, was usually called away being in the Navy. I lived there until the Rebellion won and my mother and I fled to Bakura. After that ..."

She looks down at the floor in sadness.

"... I don't really remember much. It's a blur and quite complicated."

*Artemis felt a small flash of anger in her at the mention of the Imperials. However, she did her best to ignore it.*

I've had some...expirence w/ the Imperials too.

[Hart Kenobi]

"Both of you can go easy with the title and formalities," Hart smiles,"I like to have a much more casual outlook on life. Helps me to get to know people, rather than their masks."

*Observes both of their reactions at their examination of their pasts.*

"I seem to be one of the few here that had a relatively normal upbringing. The majority of the Jedi here have had similar experiences to yours and I'm sure that they will provide a strong support group for both of you. Perhaps find some security in the places where you had doubts and feelings of helplessness."

[Navaria Tarkin]

The emotion was so strong that Navaria couldn't help but look at Artemis. A pain of guilt rain through her heart ... for her family was quite well known through the reign of Imperial rule. It was a family that she was ashamed of, felt that their sins fell upon her shoulders to try and rectify ... but inside, she still loved them. It was very hard to handle and make sense of.

There was nothing to say to Artemis and since she was ignoring it, Navaria best not say anything.

"I hope so too, Hart."

[Artemis Jinn]

*Artemis nodded.*

That's what I was hoping for.

OOC: GTG for the night.

[Hart Kenobi]

*Hart bows to Navaria.*
"Well, I apologize for taking up so much of your time. I'm sure you have much to think about so I will leave you to get acquainted and rested in your room."

*turns to Artemis and bows again.*
"Even Jedi need sleep," Hart smiles. "I'll see you later."

[Navaria Tarkin]

Navaria returns the bow, "Thank you Mas ... Hart. Have a good night."

She turns to Artemis, "And you as well. Take care."

Walking down the hall, she finds the room that Hart gave her the key for and walks inside. The room has just the necessities in it and that served her just find. Removing her outer robe and inner one, Navaria slipped into bed and quickly fell asleep ...

*Artemis yawned as she walked down the hall to her room, realizing how late it was. She fell asleep almost instantly when her head hit the pillow, and for the first time she slept soundly without nightmares about the Empire finding her and taking her back.*
