Alpha hunches over his desk, apparently building something...
Power cells, casing, crystals, and other materials point to a lightsabre, but the casing is just too big for most people to think it will be a sabre. Alpha connects the backup power cell inside the hilt itself, then takes out three crystals--red, blue and a purple in color--, hooking them to the crystal holders in the casing, arranging them in a way that will give the blade a huge pointed form.
Hours later, Alpha is almost finished, having rigged all the internal circutry, leaving only the case to be finished. He fashions it with a guard made of cortosis ore, and makes the handle itself end with a spike.
Now for one final detail, Alpha thinks as he finishes wielding the case shut, leaving a small power port.
Alpha opens a drawer, and takes out a power source made to fit in his armor, around his wrist. He attaches it to his jumpsuit, and then grasps the handle of his new sabre. It was huge--bigger than most he had constructed, more like a broadsword hilt. The power cell on his wrist ejects a cord, and Alpha fits it to the handle. He turns on the hilt, the sabre taking an enourmous amount of power--more than he could put inside the case--and the blade is three times the size of a normal one in width (and was flat), but was specifically made with his short height in mind. The sword was perfectly made for the young One.
The blade sprouts out, a dark purple-red blade in color. Alpha allows a smile as he looks at his incredible weapon he fashioned.
