Xazor....

[verse dawnstrider]

::Verse sits in his room waiting for his padawan. He had a very important question to ask her. One that may change both of there lives. He had coem to think of her more that just a padawan. She was like a daughter to him. verse sat in a chair and waited.::

[Xazor]

Xazor heard the sweet voice of her Master speaking gently in her mind. She walked down the halls of the living quarters until she stopped at a door, it was his. She knocked softly a few times and then stood with her hands placed behind her back. She looked down at the ground for a moment and waited for him to answer the door.

[verse dawnstrider]

::Verse jumped up. Time for action. He walked over to the door and opened it. There was Xazor. He stepped aside so that she could come in.::

"Come in my student. There is some matters I wish to discuss with you."

[Xazor]

Xazor looked up and smiled at the sight of Verse standing there. She stepped into his room and turned around to look at him.

What is it you wish to discuss, Master?

She asked softly.

[verse dawnstrider]

"I wish to know how the search for your parents is going."

[Xazor]

She looked down and shook her head.

I've basically given up. I heard that my Sith Master ended up killing them too......

She said with sorrow hanging on her voice.

[verse dawnstrider]

"Well..."

::Verse breathed deep.::

"As it is, my son doesn't like me much. And you are like a daughter to me..."

::Verse fumbled with his hands.::

"I was wondering if you would let me take you in my family. I always wanted a daughter, and I could not wish to have anyone better."

[Xazor]

Xazor looked up at him quickly, joy and shock washing over her. Me?! She thought to herself as she replayed his words in her head.

Master, I do not know what to say. I would love to be in your family......it would mean so much to me!

She said smiling brighter than she had ever thought possible.

[verse dawnstrider]

::Verse smiled.::

"You can keep your old name of Kama, or you can change it to Dawnstrider. What ever you wish. For now on though, I will call you my daughter. Adopted is such a fixed word. I woudl like to think of you as my daughter fully."

[Xazor]

A tear of joy slipped out of Xazor's eye and fell down her cheek. She smiled and took a deep breath.

I will change my last name. I do not wish to bear the horrible name of a killer any longer.....

She said, looking at the ground as another tear escaped. She was so happy and joy welled up in her soul all at once.

Adopted is such a fixed word.......I wish for you to be my Father fully.......

She said softly as she looked into his gentle eyes.

[verse dawnstrider]

::Verse hugged his new daughter.::

"My daughter, we still stand against all odds. Father and daughter. we were both alone, now we have each other."

[Xazor]

Xazor smiled as she was caught up in his embrace. It was a strange feeling but she felt redeemed.....and genuinly loved.

I love you father.......

She said quietly and from her heart.

We have overcome everything.......

She added from her mind to his.
