I Seek Guidence

[Oriadin]

A lowly looking man walks up. He wears nothing but rags. He doesnt even have any shoes. Hes weak, hungry and cold. He falls to his knees, shaking. He lifts his head and one arm and calls out to sombody.....anybody....

[Navaria Tarkin]

It hit her quickly for the suffering she felt was a beacon through the Force.

Quickly Navaria ran to the disturbance and found a sight that caused her breath to stop suddenly ...

She kneeled down and gently helped him to his feet, not caring about about cleanliness at all, and starts to slowly bring this person towards the Academy.

"What has happened that left you in such a state my friend."

Navaria asked, concern etched in her voice and eyes that looked upon him with much sadness.

[Oriadin]

Oriadin looks deeply into Navaria's eyes. He is sad but not afraid. He is still shaking. He speaks to her in a quite, crokey voice...

"I am lost. I have no memory of who I am or where I am from. Please help me. I dont know where I am, I dont know how I got here. Something led me here, I cant explain. I have come in search of answers, help and guidence."

He looks to the ground and looks as if hes about to fall but he stedies himself and continues...

"Thank you for comming over to me, im in need of food and water if you have any spare? I havent eaten or had a drink for as long as I can remember. I feel very weak. Can you help me?"

Oriadin once again looks into Navaria's eyes.

[Xazor]

Xazor was on her way to her room when she saw Navaria leading a man toward the Academy. She looked closer at him and saw what condition he was in. Not wasting a moment, Xazor ran for the pair and stopped beside Navaria.

What happened to this man? Is there anything I can do for him?

She asked, wishing to help in anyway she could.

[Oriadin]

Oriadin looked over to Xazor. He was trembling and looked dazed. He wanted to say something to her but couldnt gather the strength to do so. He once again looked at the ground and fell into a heap on the floor.

[Xazor]

Xazor saw the look in his eyes and was connected to his suffering. She quickly moved in front of Navaria and caught the man before he hit the ground. He was full of filth, but it mattered not to Xazor. All she wanted to do was help this man. She looked at Navaria for a moment.

We have to do something!

She called out to her friend. She balanced the man in her arms and listened for a heart beat. There was one, and he was breathing.....but barely. She held him in her left arm and placed her right on his chest and sent the Force into his body. It was very powerful and would return his heart beat and breathing back to normal so that he could regain consciousness.

You will be alright my friend.....we are going to help you.

She said softly as Navaria helped Xazor balance the man.

[Oriadin]

Oriadin managed to stand. His strength was still very low however. He glanced at Xazor and thanked her...

I am sorry. I feel incredibly weak. I could do with something to eat and a drink to help regain my strength. Where am I?

Xazor looked at the man and smiled gently.

We will get you food and drink and your strength shall return.

She reassured him and sent a wave of calming through the Force.

You are at the Greater Jedi Order. I am a Jedi and so is my friend. My name is Xazor and she is Navaria. We can help you....

She smiled as she helped the man balance himself on his weak legs.

Oriadin looks at Xazor, almost puzzled.

Hello Xazor

He then turns to Navaria

He once again turns to Xazor

The greater Jedi Order? I have heard of this place. My name is.....my name is.....

Oriadin looks to the floor and raises his hand to his head.

I dont remember what my name is. I remember nothing of what has happend to me. I remember waking, not knowing where I was. I had a feeling, something I cant easily describe. It told me to come here. Will I find answers here?

Oridain lifts his head and looks at Xazor. His eyes wide and hoping for meaning and answers.

[Xazor]

Xazor smiles and bows her head in a formal greeting. When he couldn't remember his name, she probed his mind, his aura and his past to figure it out.

Welcome, friend. I believe your name is, Oriadin.

She smiled gently and laid a hand on his shoulder.

Yes, the Greater Jedi Order. You will find answers and guidance here if that is what you seek. It sounds as though the Force led you here.....

She said softly. She too was led here by that "mysterious" feeling. It was the Force that now encompasses her entire aura....her soul.

[Oriadin]

--Oriadin, yes I remember now. I dont understand how you could know that. What is meant by the Force? what is the Force exactly?--

Just then, Oriadin fell to his knees. He flinched. He closed his eyes and sweat began to run down his face. He seemed to be in some sort of pain. It stoped. Oriadin arose to his feet. A flashback

--I was on a ship, many people were there, I was there. I dont remember anything else. I have had a couple of flashbacks now. I was piloting a ship, I was in danger. I dont remember anything else.--

I knew because of the Force. It is a very powerful life source that binds all living things together. It is what gives the Jedi their abilities. Is that what you seek, to become a Jedi?

She asked as she helped steady him. He fell once again, but rose to his feet on his own. She held onto him this time and looked at him as he described his flash back.

In time, perhaps you will remember more.

She hoped to reassure him with her words.

ooc: Yeah, I was wondering where Navaria went. Thanks for keeping it going!

--I am uncertain of what I seek. I am a true beiliver in fate and destiny. I do not belive my comming here was by accident. Please, I wish to know more about the Jedi and the force. You mentioned the Force gives the Jedi thier abilities, how so? What sort of abilities?--

Oriadin takes a look at himself, and takes a look at the two Jedi stood before him.

--I feel stronger with you both around me. Thank you Xazor, your words of me remembering more have comforted me. Perhaps in time it will all come back.--

No, usually when one is led somewhere by the Force it is not by accident......I think you are correct in your words. I wish not to give you false hope.....but in my heart I believe it too.

She said softly. She listened to his questions intently, hoping to answer in the best way she could.

Navaria and I use the Force, for we are Jedi. With concentration, we can tap into the Force. By totally bathing yourself in the serene feeling, you may draw off of its power. It allows us to have abilities such as healing wounds, speaking telepathically, and using nature to aid us in battle. Those, of course, are only a few small things. When one taps into the Force, the possibilities are endless. With time and training, these abilities can be honed and used to achieve the purpose of the Jedi.

She said, looking at Navaria for a moment. She smiled and looked back at Oriadin. If he truly sought to be a Jedi someday, his questions would be answered in greater detail by his Master during training.

[Oriadin]

--How can you tell if you are good enough to become a Jedi? How do you begin to learn to use the force?--

Oriadin looks kindof distracted. He notices many small cuts and scrapes all over his body. He begins to feel very cold as he is wearing nothing but rags.

[Xazor]

You don't have to be good at anything to become a Jedi. If you came in perfect, you'd be training people right now. That isn't the case when people come here. Usually they have no skills. You seem to be Force sensitive and that is all you need. You already have a great start.

She smiled brightly at him and continued.

To learn the ways of the Jedi you must first understand the commitment it is to be a Jedi. Then you must request a Master to train you, and you shall get one. Whoever they are will train you. You will learn many a great things from them.

She smiled as she mentally recalled when she met her Master for the first time.

[Oriadin]

Oriadin looks to Xazor and gives the Jedi his full attention.

--I will request a Jedi Master to train me. Please tell me of your first meeting with your Jedi Master.--

He gives her a look of extream interest.

ooc: Is it best to start a new topic to request a Jedi Master or just leave it as it is on this

[Xazor]

ooc: Just leave this and I will talk to some people. I would train you, but I am only a padawan so I can't train anyone yet. :(

Xazor smiled at his words. It was great, another soul was brought to the light. She nodded and spoke.

My tale is quite long, but I shall tell you of my meeting. I arrived here at the Greater Jedi Order by will of the Force. I was lost and confused, much like you my friend. I came here in search of answers, and a new life. I spoke with a few Jedi, as you are with us, and then requested a Master. He came to me then....a wonderfully skilled Jedi Knight. His name was Verse Dawnstrider and when I spoke it, it sent chills down my spine. I held him and the ways of the Force in great reverence, as I do to this day. He was so kind and gentle, so patient with me. It was something I was not used to and I took it all in. He greeted me as if I was a long time friend. It was wonderful......those are my first memories of him. This only happened about five months ago. Now he is my adoptive father and he is still training me.......

She smiled brightly as she recalled mental images to go along with her words. It was such a wonderful feeling to be able to look back on these things and enjoy them as if it were yesterday.....

[Oriadin]

Oriadon listend intently. Xazor's story was heart warming and it put a much needed smile on his face. A feeling of peace came over him. He felt sure this was the place for him to find the answers to the questions of who he was and what had happend to him. All Oriadin needed was a Jedi Master to take him on as his padawan learner. He looked at Xazor and asked how long she had been training for.

[Xazor]

Xazor smiled and spoke softly.

I have been training for about four months. It is a difficult life....but the most rewarding.

She said, hoping that he understood this. She looked him over for a moment and then realized that he was in absolute rags. She removed her outer cloak and put it around him. It was warm and would shelter his body from the cold.

We shall get you some real clothes soon and you shall be able to eat and drink.

She said softly as she tied the cloak to better fit him.

[Oriadin]

Oriadin looked into her eyes and gave her a thank you nod. Oriadin had traveled for what seemed an eternity to reach the Greater Jedi Order. It had been almost two weeks without food or drink.

As Xazor was trying the cloak around Oriadins neck, he reached up and held her hand against his chest.

--I thank you for the kindness you have shown me, it means a lot and I will not forget it. Thank you--

Oriadin released her hand and once again gave her a nod.

[Xazor]

Xazor looked into his eyes and could see his soul. He had a kind and gentle spirit....his heart was definatly in the right place.

You're welcome my friend.......

She said softly as she waited for a Jedi Master for him. She hoped it would not be long, and if one didn't come out soon, she was going to take him to get some food, drink, and real clothing.

Oriadin looked around with open eyes. Taking in all that he could. He wondered what would become of him and who he would meet along the way.

[Xazor]

Xazor could feel the presence of someone in her mind......it was a familiar aura to her....someone she knew very well. She smiled when they spoke in her mind. She spoke back through the Force and then turned to Oriadin.

A Knight is on the way.......if you accept him, he shall teach you. I know you are going to be pleased when you find out who it is!

She smiled brightly. Her own Father.....her Master, Verse Dawnstrider would take this man as his padawan. She knew that it would turn out well......

[Oriadin]

Oriadin looked up at Xazor and gave a look of Intrigue. He was looking forward to whoever she had in mind.

-- So who will it be? Do I get to know his name at least? Tell me about him, or her for that matter!--

[Xazor]

Xazor grinned slightly. She couldn't hold back so she decided to tell him.

My Master shall train you. Verse Dawnstrider, Jedi Knight of the Greater Jedi Order. He is wonderful and I know you will like him!

She said, excitement shown through her eyes.

[Oriadin]

--Im looking forward to meeting with him. Hopefully he will be able to teach me a number of great things.--

Oriadin considered his future

[Xazor]

Xazor smiled brightly at Oriadin. He would make a great padawan to her Master.

He will teach you so much more than you could possibly imagine!

She said, excitement showing through her eyes. She smiled once again as she waited for Verse to arrive.



ooc: Verse said that he would be posting this afternoon when he got out of school!

[verse dawnstrider]

::Verse entered the Recruitment center. Dressed in light furs, he walked in without making a sound. His long ash-blong hair hung almost to his feet. Today it was in a ponytail. His grey eyes glemmed with inner joy. It was as if he had nothing on his soul to hold him down. At his sides were his two Light Sabers. He was the only jedi to master Reversed-gripped dual Light Sabers.::

"I am Verse Dawnstrider, Garou Jedi Knight. Jedi Mentalist, and Former Council Member. If you wish, I can train you to a be a Jedi."

[Xazor]

Xazor saw Verse coming and bowed in greeting to him.

Greetings Master.....this is Oriadin.

She said softly as she looked at the man with joy in her eyes.

[Oriadin]

Oriadin turned and faced Verse Dawnstrider. He was a little taken aback. He wasnt quite what Oriadin was expecting. He bowed his head slightly.

--Xazor belives I am force sensitive and I would like to be trained to become... to become... a....--

Oriadins head flinched. It flinched again. His right eye twitched. He suddenly held his left hand to his head.

--Ive had another flashack. Someone was killed. I was stood right next to them. I was helpless to stop it. It all seems like a vague dream.--

[Xazor]

Xazor placed her hands on both sides of the man's head and pushed a healing wave of Force in. She smiled when he looked relieved.

Oriadin is Force sensitive and wishes to be trained as a Jedi.

She smiled, recalling what he had told her earlier.

[Oriadin]

--I am sorry I keep having flash backs of what has happend to me. I have lost my memory and can remember very little of how I got here. Xazor is correct. I wish to be trained to become a Jedi.--

[verse dawnstrider]

::Verse nodded.::

"You training shall begin now. Met me at the training grounds."

[Xazor]

Xazor smiled brightly at Oriadin. She had joy for him and it showed through her eyes.

Congratulations and welcome.

She said brightly. She did not know how her Master could want him to begin now, he was barely dressed and needed to eat!

[Oriadin]

Oriadin followed not far behind his new master.
