To seek out the Jedi

[Jaden Virag]

It had been a long, tiring journey. Jaden Virag had originally planned on going home after finishing his personal "mission". That was before he had met the old man. He called himself Atiga and had told Jaden to seek out the Jedi, to seek admittance into their order. This is how he found himself not on the quiet surface of Corine, but on Arcan IV.

His boots made a soft clicking that echoed in the large hall. Jaden glanced around with his dark brown eyes, curious at his surroundings. He could see no-one but that did not mean that it was empty.

"Hello?" he called out. He was surprised at how loud his voice seemed in the large room and so he lowered it before continuing.

"I come seeking the Jedi. Please....have I come to the right place?"

[Morgan Evanar]

Morgan appeared just inside the fellow's feild of vision.

"No, we've decided to become a lucurative chain of stores that sells mediocre coffee, food and beverages at twice as much as it should cost. We're going to call it " Starbucks."

"While we can't train you as a Jedi, we could use some extra help behind a counter on... Sulis."

The Jedi Master tried to resist grinning but was failing.

Jaden smiled uncertainly.

"Well...I make a mean latte."

[Morgan Evanar]

"But, young sir, can you do it with the Force?"

Morgan bent down from his two meter height and whispered in the man's ear. "It helps to know when not to spit in the customer's coffee."

[Sage Hazzard]

A strong hand pushed Morgan aside. As the Jedi Master turned to see his attacker, he saw the smiling face of another Jedi Master, Sage Hazzard.

"Come now Morgan, stop hassling the applicants."

This Sage Hazzard was one of the few in charge of the recruitment center. He decided to intervene to bring a more serious edge to this first encounter.

"Am I correct in assuming you wish to be of the Jedi ranks?"

[Jaden Virag]

Jaden nodded.

"Yes, I am."

[Sage Hazzard]

Sage nodded, thoughtfully.

"Then it shall be so. I sense the Force in you, young man, no doubt you are capable to begin training. A Master will be found for you shortly."

OOC - We're sort of bogged down at the moment. Not enough Knights, too many Padawans. So it might take a while. Although.... give me some time to think, a day perhaps, and I'll see if I can't train you. I'm busy, but I might be able to make time to take another apprentice. First, I should try and find a master for you with more time on his/her hands. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/image/emoticons_classic/smile.gif ALT=":)">

Jaden gave a short nod. "Thank-you for your help. Is there somewhere I could I rest, perhaps get a cup of coffee?"

[Sage Hazzard]

"Yes, yes, of course. You could rest in the Jedi Quarters but if drink is what you seek, then proceed to Yoghurt's Bar and Grill. I'll have a guide show you the way."

Sage called over a rather humble looking man, dressed in Jedi robes.

"Young man, would you be so kind as to point our newest recruit to the Bar and Grill?"

The man nodded and I gestured for them to continue onto the establishment.

[Sia Lan Darkheart]

Sia-lan stood in the shadows watching the man. She had just been assigned as his master. She wanted to figure out his atitude and how he carries himself. As the guide walked up, Sia steped out of the shadows. Nodding to Sage, she walked over to the two of them.

"I will show him around." She says nodding to the guide. "Thank you." She turns to Jaden as the guide bows and walks away.

"Hello. I am Sia-Lan Darkheart, Jedi Knight of the GJO. I have been assigned as your master by the council unless you have any objections." She says, smiling a bit.

[Jaden Virag]

Jaden smiled back.

"None at all. It is an honor. I am Jaden Virag." he introduced himself. He was uncertain as what to do next and so he smiled again.

[Sia Lan Darkheart]

"Ok well why dont I show you where the quarters of the jedi are." Sia tells him. She starts walking out of the RC. Just befor the door she stops and turns around. "And please dont be alarmed about anything that goes on here." She says smirking a bit. She then walks into the hall.

Jaden laughed and then followed. He was interested at just what she meant by "anything that goes on".
