A simple request

[Kan Riki]

...stepping down the loading ramp of his ship Kan Riki, battered and exhausted, enters the Jedi Recruitement Center. "My life as a smuggler is over, I wish to hone my skill of the force and become a Jedi." kneeling in front of the Jedi..."I am humbled in your presence, please train me."

[Xazor]

Xazor had seen the man step from his ship. Another recruit seeking to learn the ways of the Jedi. When he announced himself and knelt, she smiled and approached him.

Greetings stranger...I am Xazor Dawnstrider, Warrior Jedi Knight of the Greater Jedi Order. You wish to abandon your past to become a Jedi?

She questioned gently.

[Marcus QDunn]

"Good evening to you. I am Jedi Master Marcus Q'Dunn and I would accept you into the Jedi Order. You will have to be patient for a bit while we find a Master who is ready yto train you"


OOC : Hi there. Just give me a bit of time and I'll get a Master for you to train you. You will have to be a bit patient, cause we are trying to cope with a very sudden upswing in membership. Have a chat, get to know us, your free to wander about the forums and get to know more of the people here.

...Kan Riki approaches the very pretty Jedi Master and answers the quesitons she has asked him...


"Master Xazor, I am finished searching for a fast buck, it has gotten me nowhere. I have used my knowledge of the force, what little I did know, to cheat, smuggle, and many other selfish acts. After my last encounter with a bounty hunter who decided to take his earnings by beating me half to death, I had a long discussion with myself while I was healing. I really dislike the path that I have chosen and wish to turn my life around. This is something that over the past few days has really excited me and I almost feel as if I have finally made a right choice and being here in front of you validates that I have made the right choice."

...Kan Riki blushes in front of the beautiful master..."Please find someone who will guide and train me."

[Kan Riki]

"Thank you Master QDunn for your kindness, I am excited to start my journey into the life of the Jedi."

Xazor smiled and nodded.

Indeed, your heart is in the right place. The decision you have made is not an easy one, but very commendable.

She said softly, noticing him blush. It brought a smile to her face and she thought deeply for a moment. There was something about this one...it drew her to him. Perhaps it was because their pasts were quite similar, or perhaps it was the new innocence in his eyes. Whatever it was, she couldn't place her finger on it. Though she already had three padawans, one more wouldn't hurt.

If you'll have me, I will train you. You must be patient though, for this life is not easy for either of us. I have many responsibilites, but you will make a good student.

She smiled gently, hoping he would accept her teachings...

[Kan Riki]

...Kan Riki was extreamly excited to hear those words come from the Jedi's mouth, but he kept his composure...

"Thank you Master Dawnstrider, it is truely an honor to become your padawan learner. I will be patient and will wait for your instruction."

...Kan Riki turned away from the Jedi before she could see the huge grin that came over his face, he will wait on his ship until she calls on him...

Xazor smiled, feeling the joy emminating from the new comer. She bowed as he turned away.

Get some rest and then report to the Academy at seven tomorrow morning, padawan....

She said gently and turned to go to her room, then she remembered.

If you wish, you may acquire a room at the living quarters. Most of the Jedi here stay there...unless you wish to stay someplace else. Get to know some people and if you need anything, don't be afraid to ask.

She turned once again to make her way out of the recruitment center.
